Deadly Nightshade - Finlay Zeffer vs Karen Meadows

The match between himself and Karen had been back and forth so far, and in the last few seconds literally so as the two rolled each other over, repeatedly rolling into pinfalls. Shortlived as each one may have been. But now after rolling her over again the girl managed to slip through his grip escaping their deadlock. Rolling forward himself he pushed himself up to to his knees and turned to face Karen with narrowed eyes at Karen, being sure to watch her carefully as he stood up to his feet, ready for whatever she would try

Since the early pin attempts seemed out of the question the next step would have to be just trying to go on the attack, once she was back on her feet she would turn and go right back at Finlay for her next move. Trying a power move was out of the question this early and grappling seemed to not be the answer just yet either so instead Karen would just try and jump up at him and latch her legs around his head.

Calling back she would try to bring him down when she fell back hoping that he didn’t have enough time to get a vertical base and keep him off balance. If she dropped him she would come back up and then try to go for a kick to his skull when he started to rise.

Finlay had just started to get to his feet when he looked up and saw Karen upon him! ”Ugn!” He grunted out as he felt her legs wrap tightly around his head, then within moments their weights shifted and he was brought careening down onto the mat with a crash! Sitting up from the momentum Finlay grunted immediately after as he took a kick to the head! Wincing in pain from tbe blow he grit his teeth and pushed himself up, attempting to push himself into Karen’s stomach shoulder first while grabbing and pulling her legs up to knock the former starlet down to the mat.

Karen was able to drop her foe, but the bigger guy didnt stay down for very long. Karen knew that stuff like that wouldnt hurt him as much as it did most but she still tried to stay on him kicking him while he was trying to get up but then preparing for when he still rose to his feet anyway. When Finlay rushed her she was ready to counter and jumped back sprawling to block the shoulder hit and try to stop his charge.

Still it was difficult to contain him and Karen would pull on his head and try to bring him down so she could slowly run across and get to his back so she could get a grip around his back.

Finlay eyed Karen’s form as he charged forward, intent on bringing her down to the mat and gaining a decisive advantage over her. However the firmer starlet was far from done, nor was she going to let him have an essy time getting a advantage on her. As he made contact with the woman he dug intk her stomach but made little ground due to her soreading herself out beforr whipping around behind him, getting a tight grip on him from behind making him grunt from the lock as he pulled against her hands, trying to force her off of him!

The closeness between them really set apart the difference in there builds, Karen felt like she was stretching out as it was just trying to hold him in place and he was already working on forcing himself free. He'd eventually get there if she didnt do anything and she wasnt sure what to do if that happened, all she could do was try in her own way to stop him. Trying to wind back her leg she would attempt to jab it into the back of Finlay's leg to force him to stop or at least weaken his stance.

"You struggle alot huh? We can fix that." Karen said trying to retighten her grip while she hoped Finlay staggered, if all went well she would then try and rush forward, and seek to send him into the corner chest first. Pushing and getting low to make sure her momentum and running could overcome the power advantage he had.

Finlay grunted and struggled in Karen’s trying to resist her grip and pull himselg away from tbe former starlet. But contrary to what he would have expected she was surprisingly nimble, and while he could feel the grip loosening moment by moment as he struggled it was Karen’s determination that made this hold difficult to break free from. None the less thought he would be free soon, key word being would. Before he could get that last bit of room neccessary to get Karen off he instead found a sharp impact in the back of his leg.

”Guh!” He grunted out as stumbling forward slightly from the sudden spike right at the core of his footing leaving him unsteady, a prime target for his dark haired opponet as he was pushed forward, driven fromt first into the corner! “Gah!” He grunted out in pain as he hit it, blinking dazedly in response as he stood there, leaning against the corner a bit, fkat out stunned by the impact.

Finlay had been put in a bad spot by Karen who would do nothing but follow up on that while he was still there, backing up and then rushing him again with a dropkick to his back. Once she returned to her feet Karen would sit up on the ropes she would stand on the middle ropes and keep him there so she would raise her arm up and drive forearm strikes to his head. If she sought to win this match she had to keep him off balance so Finlay couldnt defend himself, going for his head would make that easy but she was still careful.

"If you've seen my show what comes next should be familiar." Karen would say before she pressed forward and would hook her legs around her head and jumps down pushing her herself outside the ring and basically squeezing his head against the ropes while keeping her legs wrapped around his neck to keep him from pulling away.

”Ugh...” Finlay groaned softly from his place kneeling against the corner, his back burning in pain from Karen’s dropkick to his spine. He hadn’t expected her to come back in such a way and take as commanding a lead as she had. However she was far from done trying to further her lead as within moments she was upon him again. Perched on the ropes above him he grunted in pain as she fired shot after shot into his head making him grunt and wince in pain as blow after blow rained down. Blinking dazedly from the blows he rocked wobbily on his feet, holdimg onto her legs to stead himself.

However as she spoke he looked up at attention from her brag/taunt. However he soon felt her legs wrap around him making him grunt as she threw herself off the ropes forcing his neck against them while tightening further around his head. ”Twilight’s... Embrace...?” He half asked half stated the name of the move, having legitimately recognized it from the show despite the current situation he was in as his hands tightened around her legs, trying to lull them apart.

Karen was attempting to pull down on her rivals head and just squeeze on it until the count started seeing Finlay fall along with her as she stretched him over the ropes. She remained all smiles but kept a tight grip to make sure she didn't fall down below now that her head would be the first thing to hit the ring apron or the floor if she dropped. Finlay surprised her though naming the move as she did it, and not by its actual name but by the name it was given on her show.

"Huh? Don't be silly. I didnt do this move because of that show..." Karen said not very convincingly while pulling on his head. She hadn't considered why she made this move but it seemed like she was just repeating moves Mindy would do, which was not a good way to avoid being countered. She ignored this and as the ref counted to 4 she let go so she could slide away from being dropped and just allow Finlay to fall away now that she seemed in control.
