Molly Forster [D] vs. Mika Yuriko

Molly may have been able to block Mika's attack at the last minute, but there was only so much she could do to stop the incoming force, especially when she was coming at it with as much momentum as she was. As she stumbled back, she was dazed and still working on recentering herself - but Mika wasn't about to give her the time to do that, as she came in with a dropkick!

Still teetering on uneasy footing, the impact sent Molly off her feet, where she fell to the canvas with a thud. The Englishwoman rolled to her side as she groaned low and under her breath, a hand reaching to cradle her elbow to try and dull the pain of landing on it.

Internally Mika cheered as her dropkick proved quite successful and Molly was knocked onto the canvas, clutching her arm as she was in prime and vulnerable position. Mika had the advantage, and as a certain second persona would suddenly shift into control she was determined to make the most of it.

Mika would dive down and slide by Molly, as her aim was simply to try and work her arms around Molly's chin and try to lock her momentarily downed opponent into a tight side headlock. Her aim if she managed to lock it in would be to maintain leverage and keep Molly grounded while she would squeeze to apply pressure.

"Oh yeah, how do you like me now!" Mika, or rather her heel persona Trinity spoke up to no one in particular as she worked to try and lock in the tight side headlock.

From where she had landed, Molly had a plan forming in her head. This would only be a minor setback, she thought; she would just need to get back on her feet, and she'd be able to swiftly reclaim the momentum. After a moment of catching her breath, she would just need to get back up. And Mika seemed nice enough that she wasn't too worried. She'd be back up in no time, bar anything unexpected...

...Such as her opponent suddenly showing an unforseen side of her, as to Molly's surprise, she came barreling in to lock her arms tightly around her head! Molly let out a pained yelp, falling back onto the ground as she tried to twist herself back and forth to fight against the mounting pressure. "H-Hey! Ow..! Let...go-!" she cried, reaching up to try and pull her opponent's arms off her.

Let go? This is a march...you want out you gotta get me off. Mika as the Trinity persona spoke up with a sly smirk as she seemed in no hurry to break the headlock and if anything only tightened it further; aiming to further work her leverage advantage and apply even more pressure to gain solid control of the match.

The personality shift had been almost a 180 from her earlier interactions, which was puzzling to those unfamiliar with Mika's condition and something she'd no doubt lament over once she took control again.

The groans and grunts from Molly were only growing louder and higher as the pressure mounted about her head, her face starting to go red from the strain, and she started to kick her legs against the canvas. This was really starting to hurt, and this time, she didn't have her sister to fall back on. Even if it might've been a little less than legal, Chelsea was always there to make a run-in if she was in trouble in their tag matches, and she knew she could count on her.

But another thought came to Molly's mind then and there. If Chelsea was watching her now, she would want her to be proud of her. Molly had to prove that she could make it on her own as a singles competitor, and that was the encouragement she needed to put more effort into breaking free. Sucking in a breath and steeling her nerves, Molly grabbed for Mika's arms tighter, trying to wrench them off her neck by force if she had to.

Mika's Trinity persona had been enjoying herself as Molly's face began to go read which only made her tighten the headlock all the more. At this pace she'd wear the newcomer down....newcomer, given she was one would the debuting opponent be a newer comer? Trinity had been deep in thought before Mika's persona got a rocky wake up call.

Molly began to grab at her arms and worked to wrench them off her. And her efforts had an immediate effect as Mika felt her grip loosen more and more as her arm slipped further and further away.

"H-hey! S-stop that! Stop that right now!" Mika's Trinity persona cried out as she tried to adjust and tighten the lock to get Molly to let. But all this felt like a vain effort as Mika was losing her grip and ground and it seemed inevitable that Molly would manage to free herself from the headlock and sure enough Mika lost her grip.

"Oh yeah?" Molly shouted back. Her opponent's choice of words had given her license to make the perfect comeback, as now she could turn her previous taunt right back on herself. "I thought this was a match! You want me to stop, make me!"

It took some continued effort on her part to separate Mika's arms from around her head, but eventually Molly managed to power out of the hold. The anguished expression that crossed her face a moment ago was now a proud smile, as Molly stood confident with the knowledge that she had persevered and came out on top in this struggle. How she wished Chelsea could see her now.

But Molly wasn't about to stop here. With Mika still at her side, Molly hoped to use their proximity to her advantage. She was quick to jump up to her feet, hoping she could get back on her footing in time to ensnare Mika in her arms and throw her to the mat with a bodyslam!

To say that having her own insult tossed back at her was a blow to Trinity's pride would have undersold it, as the heelish persona of Mika had to groan at this. She would have responded verbally, but she had no chance to as Molly was a step quicker than her.

"H-hey wait I...gah!" Mika's Trinity persona cried out, but that was all she could do as Molly managed to pick her up and successfully slammed her to the canvas with a bodyslam. Mika let out a cry of pain as she began to roll to the corner while she tried to recover from the blow, but the slam did more than just give Molly the clear advantage.

"W-wow...n-nice move..." Mika complimented, even as she tried to stand back up from the slam. And it was a genuine compliment as it seemed her normal persona returned to her and her demeanor changed from the more aggressive persona moments ago.

Feeling Mika go crashing into the mat, and the roll of the canvas under her feet as she did, Molly couldn't help but cheer for herself, throwing up a peace sign as she smiled wide. She had done it! She had to take a moment afterward to rub at her neck, getting the soreness out, but soon enough she felt like she was back and ready to go. She wasn't about to let this slow her down.

Even Mika complimented her on her efforts, making Molly nod back to her. She seemed to be coming down from the sudden rush of violent aggression she had been in the middle of just a minute ago. Molly couldn't complain. She'd hoped for this to be a friendly match between the two of them as was promised. While she couldn't help but be confused about where her outburst came from, she'd put it behind her. Now that Mika was standing back up, it was time for her to go at it again.

"I've got more of that, too!" she called out, going to run the ropes as Mika got to her feet so that she could spring back towards her with a clothesline!

As Mika stood she was too busy shaking the cobwebs from the earlier move as she had no time to react before Molly charged like a head od steam with a running clothesline. One that found its mark as Molly knocked Mika flat on her back with the charge as it landed a clean hit to drive her advantage further.

Agh!" Mika groaned, as she rubbed the back of her head and once more worked to stand back up trying to get to her feet before Molly could follow up that attack with another.
