Hayleigh Hisashi vs. Yuki Kazikura

Despite her weight shifting forwards atop Yuki's figure, allowing the girl in yellow to seemingly move her leg freely, Hayleigh didn't seem all too concerned about it. It likely wouldn't take long for the rookie to discover why! As she raised her legs to kick, her soft thigh would become caught on Hayleigh's rear, unable to go any higher. If she tried to move it side to side, she'd find it blocked by her opponent's knees!

Feeling the movement of Yuki's thigh against her backside, the more experienced newbie would smile and give a teasing wink to her pinned opponent, "Stuck? Let me help you, just give me about three seconds." she'd taunt playfully, following with a friendly giggle. And then she noticed something, or rather the lack of something. The referee wasn't counting, even though Yuki's shoulders were flush and tight against the canvas! She looked around, and found the tall lady had been standing on the far side of the ring and hadn't been in much hurry to come over.

Kneeling beside the little wrestlers, she leaned right down to check both of Yuki's shoulders were certainly down, and then finally hit the canvas for "One!" much to Hayleigh's annoyance. The long delay, and short distraction, having provided Yuki a great deal of time to find a way free of her opponent.

Yuki had thought she had figured it out. She just needed to act fast, and catch Hayleigh off guard. When she had done so much work honing her strikes and putting power behind her blows, she would have thought she might be able to jostle her opponent out of the way, even if the position they were in might have been less than perfect. But to her surprise...she tried to kick up, and nothing happened. Her eyes went wide, and she looked up to see what Yuki had done. It was ingenious; she had arranged herself in such a way that, like a Chinese finger trap, trying to kick out would only put Yuki into more trouble. Indeed, the girl tried to twist her leg to the side when she saw that kicking upwards wouldn't do, but even that was impossible. A gasp escaped her lips. What was she going to do now?

Yuki's eyes narrowed at her opponent's taunt, even if the giggle made it clear she didn't mean it in a bad way. But Yuki was more concerned with getting herself free, and so far that wasn't having much success. She started to pant, her anxiety building. Would this be it? Counted out within seconds of starting? If that happened, nobody was ever going to want to have her back in the ring. Her career could be in the balance!

...Wait, she thought. Yes, Yuki was aware that time seemed to slow down at the worst times, but it had definitely been more than three seconds, and the ref hadn't even counted once. She tried to lift her head up as much as she could in this position, against the better interests of her neck, and saw that sure enough, the ref wasn't even paying attention to the action in the match. Even if it wouldn't be good for her if she was, Yuki was offended that she might think any match wasn't worthy of her focus, when the wrestlers were giving it their all. But after that reaction faded, Yuki realized she had a chance, with Hayleigh's attention elsewhere - not to mention the window of time for the referee to notice the action. In that time, she started to wriggle her leg from side to side where Hayleigh had clamped down on it, while at the same time pulling at her hands where they held her wrists. This way she hoped to loosen the hold on her, so that by the time the ref actually did start counting, she would try and pull free from either end - whether she could kick out or get an arm free to get a shoulder up, she would take either, whichever she could do first.

Hayleigh had been so distracted by the referee's personal distraction that she hadn't noticed, nor felt, Yuki's squirming and struggling beneath her! It took the referee so long to get over and actually start counting that Yuki's leg was almost free, having been pulled most of the way through under Hayleigh's crotch and towards freedom! The only thing that had been too difficult for the young rookie to break was her opponent's hold on her arms, as most of Hayleigh's upper body was balanced awkwardly on Yuki's elbows, giving the girl very little leverage and forcing her to lift a decent amount of weight.

Having trained and practiced this particular pin with the expectation that it would only ever be held for a short period of time, Hayleigh was surprised to find that she had no idea what to do when someone actually started dismantling it the hard way, and had nowhere near enough time to improvise something on the spot that might trap Yuki again!

Barely a second later, and Yuki's knee was pressed tight against her own shoulder, with her boot pressed against Hayleigh's chest. A hard kick was plenty enough to throw Hisashi backwards and break the pin, the grey-haired contestant falling onto her back with a loud "HNNF!" before quickly scrambling to get onto her knees, hoping she'd be fast enough to get there before Yuki, and panting for air after having had it all squeezed out of her lungs.

Hayleigh's hold on her wrists might have given her trouble, but Yuki still was able to make her way out of the girl's thighs constricting her leg, and with a little more twisting and pulling she was free, allowing the brunette to breathe a sigh of relief. She wasted no time in getting her leg free as soon as the pressure was off, and as one thing swiftly led to another, soon Hayleigh was falling back, booted off her perch atop Yuki's body.

The Hisashi sister got back on her knees, rising from the ground. Yuki, too, rolled back on her feet. Luckily, while the hold had been tough to escape, her struggles didn't take too much out of her, and she was ready to act. Following on her momentum, Yuki readied herself to throw a forearm strike against her opponent. She didn't know how much Hayleigh would be able to recover before she could get it off, but hopefully she'd be in a good position to press her luck.

Expecting that Yuki would be thinking in a similar way, Hayleigh was prepared for her opponent to press her immediate advantage, believing that Yuki would throw herself forwards to try and get on top of her opponent in reverse to their previous position, and so was ready to grapple on her knees. Her plan went out the window somewhat when Yuki risked the extra couple seconds to get all the way up onto her feet, a gamble that paid off nicely.

Not wanting to freely hand Yuki a height and mobility advantage, Hayleigh was also forced to push upwards too, getting up onto her feet- right as her opponent was closing the distance. She started to get her arms up and forwards, ready to defend herself, but Yuki's arm came in just over Hayleigh's, and thwacked against the silver-haired newbie's chest! "Hagh!"

Now on the defense, Hayleigh quickly stepped back away from Yuki, trying to make up some distance and focus herself on adapting to the new situation. To aid herself in this task, she'd raise her leg and throw a kick Yuki's way, aimed generally towards her opponent's abdomen.

Yuki knew it was a risky maneuver to get on her feet so quickly, but she was sure she could do it - the match had only started, and she still had her wits about her. Being on her feet would give her more of an opportunity to make a quick escape if she needed to, and mobility was something that served Yuki well. In addition, it looked like her sudden move had thrown Hayleigh off her balance, which also played well to Yuki's favor - now, she had some extra time with which to maintain control.

Hayleigh rose too, and Yuki started to lower herself into a stance, her hands held in front of her as she bit down on her lip to steel herself. Thinking she could get Hayleigh before she had found her balance, Yuki threw her forearm straight into the chest of the silver-haired girl, where it landed with a thwack. Hayleigh saw her warning, however, and started to get back from her before Yuki could upset the balance. Now it was really on, with both of the two young ladies relying on their quick reflexes, moving and striking and dodging as quickly as the impulse came to them. No sooner had Hayleigh drew back that Yuki started to rush in closer to her, and forward came a kick aimed for her stomach. In the brief split-second she could, Yuki swerved to the side to dodge, while simultaneously aiming a quick jab for Hayleigh's side. It wasn't the best angle to land such an attack, but Yuki was willing to take what she could get, rather than risk Hayleigh trying again.

Her opponent had, unfortunately for Hayleigh, just barely managed to step aside to avoid the incoming kick. As a result, Hayleigh now found herself stuck in place for at least a couple seconds as she regained her balance and re-oriented herself, while Yuki was free to keep coming forwards and pressing her advantage. Which, unsurprisingly, is exactly what the little rookie did.

Yuki's arm shot forwards, looking to jab into the side of Hayleigh's slim and vulnerable abdomen, but the silver-haired newbie had her own arms up and ready to defend herself. Yuki's arm came in, slipped just by Hayleigh's left wrist, but was pushed sideways by Hayleigh's right hand, trapping the arm between her own!

Attempting to capitalize on it, Hayleigh quickly moved her right hand down to try and grab hold of Yuki's fingers, looking to awkwardly bend them and lock in a quick hold while the two were on their feet, but somehow fumbled! Her hand painfully stretched Yuki's fingers back, but she had pulled back too quickly and without gripping tightly enough, so her hand slipped off of Yuki's, and her attempt at a hold fell apart, leaving the lightweight clumsily and embarrassingly reaching forwards again to try and get hold of her opponent.

Yuki performed a jab with her usual speed, hoping that while Hayleigh was still stumbling off her interrupted forward momentum she would be lined up to take the blow. But Hayleigh turned out to be just as fast, putting up her guard. The girl in yellow expected that it'd be a simple block, one that wouldn't really slow her down. But she was wrong; Hayleigh had taken this opportunity to force Yuki into another tricky hold and trapped her arm! She groaned under her breath, gritting her teeth in frustration. It seemed the silver-haired girl was quite adept at such reversals.

For that matter, Hayleigh started to go for Yuki's hand, bending back on her fingers. Feeling her tendons being stretched so near to their limits, Yuki let out a scream, her eyes shutting tight as she could hardly bear the sight of her joints being so tortured. However, her suffering was short-lived, as Hayleigh's hand came loose a moment later, causing her to drop Yuki! This was something that the larger, though younger, of the two rookies could use to her advantage, now that Hayleigh's poor form had offered her a free hit - and she was going to take it. Now that Hayleigh was bent over forward, Yuki went to ensnare her by the head before she kicked off the ground to fall backward in a DDT, driving her opponent's head straight for the mat!

There was not a whole lot that Hayleigh could do to salvage her situation, or at least she thought there was nothing she could do. Though the difference in size between the two newcomers was not enormous, Yuki was certainly heavier and the more physically dominant of the two when it came to grappling. Though she may fall short in technique, it was quite easy for Yuki to simply push Hayleigh around, and quite hard for Hayleigh to force Yuki to move.

As such, being in a position like this where both girls' bodies were actually touching in some key places, with Hayleigh's thigh pressed against Yuki's, a hand resting on the bigger wrestler's shoulder, and the other trying to catch her hand, was not too advantageous. And to hammer this point home, Yuki brought Hayleigh down into a headlock, prompting the grey-haired girl in blue to squirm and wriggle for the short amount of time before her opponent finished the job.

Immediately after having her head spiked into the canvas, Hayleigh's body went limp, having been totally stunned by the move, perhaps even knocked unconcious for a second or two.

Yuki could feel Hayleigh make an attempt to resist, as the silver-haired girl tried to steer herself into a more favorable position, but nevertheless Yuki proved to hold her firmly and resolutely, and she couldn't pull herself free. Yuki had committed herself, and she was going to achieve results; that she knew as much. Getting the headlock into place, Yuki gave Hayleigh only a second to contemplate the situation before she fell backwards, letting her head make impact with the ground beneath her.

Hayleigh took the blow hard, it looked like, and soon after the impact she fell flat. From how heavy her landing was, Yuki could reason that the DDT had done a good job of stunning her, and that she should be downed for a while. Well, she thought to herself, Hayleigh had tried to get an early pin in before, and maybe it was her turn. At the very least, it would make for a poetic moment even if Hayleigh kicked out, and even the score between them. Then she would know that Yuki was a force to be reckoned with. These thoughts went through her head, as she got down to secure the pin.
