Danielle Degardin [D] vs. Noble Rose

That was more like it, Danielle thought. Her kick had made its mark, and now Rose was stumbling back, doubling forward off her balance. A grin spread its way across her face, as she stood proud with her hands on her hips. She wanted to gloat. She had done it, she had actually landed a hit! If that was all it took, she was sure she would go far indeed. If Dani could keep this up, she thought, then Noble Rose would crumple beneath her, as she well deserved!

Seeing the perfect opportunity to follow up with Rose stunned, Danielle ran in after her to close the distance. Once she got close enough, Danielle would whip her arm out to snare it around Rose's neck and go for a bulldog, jumping forward to sweep her off her feet. "Allons-y!"

Rose was still a bit shaken from the kick but felt the arm and what she was going to do in response she pushes her opponent away and letting gravity do the rest

Danielle could see it all playing out in her head. With a show of grace and agility, she would leap in and trap her opponent's neck in the crook of her arm, letting the momentum carry her forward and dragging Rose with her so that she would fall off her footing and end up flat on her face! The crowd would go wild, and she would have the smug satisfaction of taking the purple-haired woman down a peg. But something was off. Rose wasn't falling forward - and in fact, it was Danielle who was going down! Lost in her mind's eye as she anticipated the results, she had completely neglected to prepare for her opponent readying a counterattack. Before Dani could push Rose off her feet, she had given her a shove and sent her sprawling out on her back, landing on the mat. It shook on impact, and she was left coughing and sputtering as she tried to get to her senses.

"Gahh...ow!" Danielle muttered as she tried to brush hair out of her eyes as she began to sit back up. "What was that about?"

"What you expect me to just stand there and take it" she said now pressing her attack as she goes for a sleeper to start wearing her opponent down

Danielle hissed through clenched teeth as her opponent taunted her still. "That might be appreciated," she said mockingly, looking back at Rose out the corner of her eye - though it probably did more to indict herself. All the same, she wasn't about to just sit and take it as Rose got into place behind her. Gritting her teeth, Danielle threw an elbow behind her to try and strike at Rose's ribs and shake her off.

Rose grunts as the elbow hit it's mark but rose wasn't going to let go so easily tighting her grip on the French woman wanting to get a little payback on her

The strike landed with a pleasing smack, which satisfied Danielle, a contented smile coming to her lips at knowing that she had gotten a hit on Rose. That satisfaction was short-lived, though, as the purple-haired woman would only tighten her grip on Dani's neck. Needless to say the ex-model was fuming over this, seeing her struggles in vain. Rose was going to pay for mocking her like this, she thought as she coughed and sputtered, trying to keep her strength about her.

"Let go of me, you-!" she shouted, reaching her hands up to grab for Rose's wrists to try and pull her arm off her throat. If she managed to get her head suitably freed, Danielle would follow by throwing her head backwards into Rose's face to try and smack her upside the nose with the back of her head.

Rose felt the tugging at her arm and decided to use that against her as she pulled suddenly rose lets go of the sleeper letting the model go leaning back in case of a surprise attack

Danielle hoped that she could do some damage to Rose with her impromptu headbutt. It wouldn't be the classiest of moves, but all semblance of decorum left Danielle when she stepped into the ring. She was going to use any dirty trick she could to get ahead, and to compensate for her less than perfect command of wrestling. And she was practically giddy with anticipation, thinking of how painful a blow straight to the nose would be.

Alas, it wasn't to be. Danielle's attempts to escape by pulling Rose's arms off her worked out a little too well, as the purple-haired wrestler released her right away, contrary to her expectations. Still, though, at least she was still standing in front of her, her back to Rose's belly. She was still lined up just right for this move! She just had to pull it off, and so she threw her head backwards...

...To hit absolutely nothing, as Rose would step away in the same moment she released Dani and avoided her blow. The redhead barely had any time to process what was happening to her as the momentum carried her back off her feet and sent her collapsing, losing her balance and landing on her ass in front of Rose. She hissed under her breath, rage boiling within her. How dare Rose deprive her of her chance to show her up like that, she thought to herself! It just wasn't fair!

Rose stood there crossed arms as she looks at her opponent "so far you're all talk" she stated looking down at her "come on give some bite to your bark" she said motioning her opponent to bring it on
