Silencing A Virus: Mary Clairson vs Spectre — Standard Match

Spectre lifted her foot when they kicked out. Which figures, but-.

Damn if it wasn't a good footrest. She thought to show her gratitude after taking a few steps, walking around to Mary's head before bending over. Then flicking her forehead. "Ding." Once. "Ding." Twice. And after a pause... "Ding." Thrice. She took her cape from the floor, stepped over Mary's head, starting a lap around the ring as she whooshed her cape around her back, finding the holes for the pegs to wear it again.

The crowds can only jeer. And what of their heroine of the night?

Luckily for Mary, the pinfall definitely did awaken her senses by making her kick out, and now she was getting flicked on the forehead, which definitely awoke her.

Mary then saw Spectre circle around her downed body, and knew exactly what she had to do, when Spectre got around to her feet.

Mary would extend her feet out, hoping to trip Spectre and give herself an opening.

Hup! Right in front of her own eyes, she saw a scheme unfolding to stub her toes against Mary's shins and tumble over. Spectre glanced at Mary's eye the moment she tried it. Psh.

Then she made the would-be trip into a quick STOMP against Mary's ankle. She kept it there, then dug her heel in. "That the -best- tactic you can come up with?" Her tone was mocking, looking down as she leaned over. Then began to twist her heel.

Left-right.
Right-left.

Again and again.

Mary’s attempt to trip was a miscalculation on her part, as not only Spectre managed to stay on her feet, but then stomped and grinded against her ankle.

“AAAH!” Mary yelped, feeling the bpian flowing through her ankle like she just contacted searing acid, Mary knew she needed to get back at Spectre, cause Spectre was wiping the floor with her.

Mary would then attempt to swing her free leg around, attempting to hit Spectre right in the back with a kick to the knee.

There wasn't a good way to absorb a kick that was against a natural range of motion.

"shit-." She muffled under her breath. Her leg veered towards the side, folded, then she dropped to one knee. Her nose scrunched, lips tight, grunting and manifesting her frown to bear the new awkward throb. It'll subside. Just keep going.

She looked at Mary, first with a glare, then a sneer as she picked up one leg by the ankle. After tightening her fist, she started to club away at Mary's elevated kneecap.

Mary’s submission skills helped her out in picking apart an opponent’s body, and seeing as though Spectre made the awkward decision not wearing any knee pads, something that almost all wrestlers do at this point, found herself an easy target.

Mary however kept her eyes on her opponent, making sure to watch what Spectre would do, maybe she could bait Spectre into making a mistake. She has to play this match smart.

Spectre eventually picked Mary’s leg up by her ankle, and Mary saw the opportunity to counter, Spectre unknowingly left herself wide open.

Mary would lift her other leg and before Spectre could club at Mary’s leg, Mary would use the sole of her boot to kick Spectre away hopefully.

Spectre’s upper torso bent backwards instantly and her body followed. She slapped the mat with a quiet thud, the sound of boards thick as she settled. Her eyes now rolled, having lost her grip and having pain print across her chest, remembering the shape of that boot.

“Not bad.” Said Spectre, who kipped up onto her feet a moment later, lifting her knee and grinning wide as she said, “Just kidding.” Then she attempted to stomp Mary's belly with full downward force!

Mary was watching all of Spectre’s moves, making sure to keep track of all her masked opponent’s body movements. She needed to make sure to know what Spectre would try next, as she luckily had her kick earlier build some distance between herself and her opponent.

When Spectre attempted to bring the sole of her boot on Mary’s midsection, Mary knew exactly what she needed to do. Before Spectre’s boot could make contact with her midsection, Mary tried to snatch it out of midair with both her hands.

If that worked, Mary would slowly get up to her feet holding Spectre’s leg, before spinning around, looking to twist Spectre’s leg with a dragon screw.

“Tch.” A hurdle took form with Mary gripping her boot. She tried to crush it, but she didn’t have the weight to do it easily, then lost the angle. With Mary standing, the opportunity was gone -- but not her options.

When Mary went low with her dragon screw, Spectre had gone high. She leaped off her feet and swung her boot to take off Mary’s head. It missed, sending Spectre whirling into a snappy spin with a crookedly bent leg, a crank and spinning gear.

She thudded the canvas firmly, feeling the air jump from her lungs. She gasped, leaned to a hip, brought the aching thigh up to nurse her hamstrings. Her teeth tightened into a bloc, lip lifted up on one side as she winced. A growl swept under her breath.

Already, she was pushing up from her side and looking to reclaim her feet.

It took Mary long enough, but she managed to finally be in an advantageous position compared to her opponent Spectre, the many members of the crowd packing the Tokyo Dome cheering on the shy bluenette babyface to beat her masked opponent.

Mary then got up to her feet, seeing that Spectre was trying to crawl backwards and nurse her leg, and therefore Mary began to approach her.

“No you don’t” Mary said before attempting to grab Spectre’s leg by her heel, and pull her to the center of the ring.

If that managed to work, Mary would then attempt to wrap her legs around Spectre’s legs, and put her in a Figure Four Leglock, and hopefully cause Spectre to submit.
