Ireland Against the Jungle: Maya Fowler [d] vs. Cathy

As Maya laid on the floor nursing her back, Cathy was on her quickly wrapping the red head in her grasp. A prone style bearhug that displayed the strength in Cathy's body. "Huuughhhh" The pain from the hold was considerable, but Maya was used to taking some damage. With her hands free, Maya would focus on Cathy's head and face. The red head would start throwing strikes at Cathy's head hoping to cause enough damage to release the woman from her body.

Cathy continues to squeeze Maya taking advantage of the prone position and slowly tries to lift Maya from the prone position, looking into Maya's eye as Cathy squeezes. Then as expected Maya begins resisting hitting Cathy in the head which starts to loosen the hold then another blow to the head and Cathy releases her hold and stumbles backwards saying "ow ow ow, that was a good punch!"

Seeing her strikes were effective, Maya would jump at the chance as Cathy stumbled backward. Rushing at Cathy, maya wanted to continue to weaken what she had started attacking. She would look to trap Cathy on the ground and unleash a flurry of ground strikes. If it was successful Maya would try and haul the girl to her feet before looking to copy her opponent and lock in her own bear hug submission of her own.

Cathy stumbled backwards from maya’s strike enough to knock her on her butt. Then with one eye open Cathy would see Maya making a run to try to trap Cathy on the ground and as Maya goes forward Cathy would throw her legs up to lock her legs around Maya’s waist and tries to block maya’s blow with her forearms as much as Cathy can then let’s a blow connect and unlocked her legs playing possum to let Maya think she landed a critical blow and let’s Maya guide her to her feet to begin her bear hug of her own.

As Maya wrap her arms around Cathy would jump up and wrap her legs around Maya’s midsection and squeeze

Cathy was quick to throw up her guard and try to defend against Maya's attack. Maya managed to strike Cathy at least once before hauling Cathy up to lock in the bear hug. However, Cathy sought to counter by locking her legs around Maya's midsection and squeezing hard. The two women had each other locked in their own submission at once. It was clear Cathy had some experience in submissions, but Maya wasn't about to let her lock it in further. Although she would lose her grip on the bear hug Maya would lift Cathy slightly looking to lean forward and slam Cathy to the canvas to break her legs free.

Cathy would squeeze her legs around Maya's midsection and also lets out a squeaks as Maya applied her bear hug and make a comment, "I see your arms are not for show they do have some strength" Cathy then feels Maya start to lift her up loosening her bear hug then Cathy says "Oh no you don't!" using Maya's lift against her quickly wraps her arms around the back of Maya's head into her bust for a Breast smother and attempts to hang on for dear life as Cathy is slammed onto the mat which makes Cathy does a huge gasp as air is knocked out which does loosen Cathy's grip a little then attempts to re-grip.

Maya lifted Cathy up and felt her face get smashed into the jungle girls breasts. However, Maya was focused on landing Cathy hard on the canvas. The slam was a success as Cathy let out a gasp for breath and her hold was loosened. Clearly Cathy was skilled in throwing submission counters, so before Cathy closed her grasp again Maya dove forward and rolled away from Cathy. She would then run back and try to execute an elbow drop on Cathy's head. Hopefully this would help daze Cathy a little.

Cathy tried to get a grip on Maya again but Maya managed to dodge out of the grip by rolling away. Before Cathy could react Maya would drop an elbow to Cathy's head successfully! Cathy would grab her head from the pain nearly rolling back and forth and somewhat dazed and unable to see straight.

Seeing her elbow had caused the desired damage, and Cathy was occupied with the pain in her head. Maya looked to switch targets to something left wide open. Maya would move toward Cathy's legs and grab a hold of the jungle girl's ankle. Sitting down on the canvas, Maya would look to trap Cathy in an ankle lock hoping she could score her first point of the match.

Cathy was dazed from the elbow strike and seeing double of Maya. Cathy noticed both Maya’s are going down to Cathy’s leg seemly targeting her ankle. Cathy was not going have this and takes a chance and kick goes to do a swiping kick behind Maya’s knee in attempt to knock Maya to her knees and attempt a reversal on Maya.
