Tag Debut! Thunder & Lightning vs The Idol Dragons

The seething Lyssa let out a dark cackle as her spiteful leg sweep paid off, bringing Yukino down to the canvas with her, making the mat shake with a sizeable bump. This opening exchange was proving very tit-for-tat.

The blue-haired girl shot to her feet as fast as she could, largely on instinct. She liked to move quickly. Glancing up, she saw Yukino was no slouch, either, having rolled defensively out of danger, and now moving for the corner to regroup.

“Oi! Where’d you think you’re going?” Lyssa spat as she gathered herself into a sprinting dash, trying to close the gap with Yukino quickly, before the Japanese girl could collect herself. The aggressive Lyssa would launch herself into a running dropkick at her scrambling opponent, a high-risk (and not particularly noble) move, but one she hoped would pay off, since Yukino had manoeuvred herself into the corner and made for a more viable target.

Yukino hadn't come away from that exchange unscathed, but whatever the case might have been, she didn't want to let it hold her back for long. Taking in a breath, she threw herself out of the way, coming to the corner. There she leaned up against the turnbuckles, her arms resting on the ropes as she took in a deep breath to try and collect her thoughts. Of course, Lyssa had already more than demonstrated that she was going to keep Yukino on her toes whenever she could. Already, she had called out to Yukino, announcing her intentions. And the moment Yukino heard that, her blood ran cold, and she sucked in a gasp. With Lyssa coming charging toward her at full speed, Yukino would only have a few scant seconds to act. And the next thing she knew, Lyssa had already jumped off the ground, with her legs extended for a dropkick!

Yukino wouldn't have enough time to pull off a proper counter - she knew that all too well. She would just have to resort to the first impulse that came to mind - to get out of the way! Just then, she ducked her head down, trying to roll herself forward and slip underneath the path of Lyssa's dropkick! If she timed it right, it would leave Lyssa careening into the turnbuckles, hopefully leaving her stunned! But either way, it was cutting it close!

Lyssa had taken an instant dislike to Yukino, the white-haired wrestler showing herself to to be skilled enough to keep Lyssa at bay. Of course, quick-tempered irritation was usually Lyssa’s default mood anyway, but this unexpected difficulty from a fucking singer was making it worse. She was very much looking forward to drop-kicking Yukino’s head into the turnbuckle…

...which is why it was even more aggravating that she missed. Yukino’s neat evasive roll was well-timed, leaving Lyssa unable to stop. Legs outstretched, Lyssa went leaping and smacked straight into the turnbuckle. Her lithe body crashed painfully into the steel post, and she dropped to the mat in a clumsy, awkward crash, the ring shaking from the impact as she failed to break her fall. It was as agonising as it was graceless. Lyssa had been made to look very foolish, but there was nothing she could do about it right now. The blue-haired girl lay face-down in the corner, groaning in pain, having paid dearly for her over-aggressive start.

If Yukino had waited even a second to enact her escape plan, she would've surely found herself sandwiched between Lyssa's foot and the unforgiving steel of the turnbuckle behind her - and she shuddered at the thought of how hard it would've hit her if she took that impact squarely on the back of her head. But she managed to slip out of the way just in time, and Lyssa had come crashing into the post instead! As Yukino picked herself up and dusted herself off, she looked back with a smile to see that her opponent had been stunned by the impact. That meant she had been left open - and that presented Yukino with an advantage that she was ready to take advantage of!

"Not so fast!" Yukino cut in as she rose to her feet, storming toward the downed Lyssa with a couple of purposeful stomps against the mat. From there, she was in the perfect position - facing the same direction as her foe while Lyssa was on the mat, Yukino leaned in, grabbing Lyssa by the shoulders, and went to haul her back toward her before throwing her arm around her throat to trap it in place under her arm! If all went well, Yukino would crank backward on the hold, stretching at Lyssa's back with a Dragon Sleeper!

“Nghhh…” Lyssa seethed and groaned as she heard Yukino approaching with an infuriating taunt. “Not so fast? Don’t tell ME to- urkk!”

The blue-haired girl babbled angrily as she was manhandled from behind by her opponent, but her arguments were cut short by a toned arm thrown across her thoat. She squirmed as she was suddenly given a face full of armpit, her body bent backwards in the painful sleeper hold.

“Arghh… you… nghhh….” Lyssa spluttered and shrieked as she tried to slip free of the sleeper, to no avail. She quickly shifted her focus to pushing with her feet, trying to force their bodies backwards and towards the corner where Storm awaited the tag. It was an arduous ask, and Lyssa soon felt groggy from the grip on her neck, but the angry little bluenette would squirm, kick, and elbow jab with all her might, to fight back in the submission hold.

Yukino wouldn't even give Lyssa the chance to finish her thought - she was going to let her actions do all the talking she needed. When she threw her arm around the girl's throat to twist her backward in the Dragon Sleeper, she was sending her own message - and that message was that she wouldn't let the members of Thunder and Lightning keep her down! Gritting her teeth, the white-haired idol drew on all the strength she could muster. Her grip on Lyssa's throat tightened as her muscles rippled and squeezed at her foe, pulling her closer as she buried her heels against the mat to keep herself rooted in place. She wasn't going to let Lyssa go anywhere - she'd do everything she needed to to prevent that!

But if Lyssa couldn't break the hold by force, she was going to do the next best thing - tagging her partner into the match! As she twisted and turned, she managed to pull Yukino along little by little. She stumbled after her, trying to keep herself upright and to prevent her grip from slipping - but the consequence of that was that she was getting closer and closer to Storm. Yukino's eyes went wide at the thought of what would happen if Storm entered the match - but she grit her teeth in defiance nonetheless, cranking back harder on Lyssa's throat to try and bend her backward! She could only hope the force she was putting on the Dragon Sleeper was enough to slow her down...

Botching her moves against Yukino was bad enough for Lyssa’s pride, but the subsequent few moments were much, much worse. Trapped in the painful, restrictive hold, head wrenched, experiencing first-hand that her foe was a lot more than just a pop singer! She could barely form coherent words as she hissed, moaned and spat, enduring an undignified face full of armpit to go along with the agonising, prolonged pain.

Lyssa wasn’t exactly a fan favourite, either, so her time in the submission hold was accompanied by cheers and jeers, as Yukino’s fanbase enjoyed themselves at Lyssa’s expense. All this served to make Lyssa more determined to get her revenge, once she was free.

The small Brit was stubbornly working on that last part, too, as she squirmed and inched her way towards her partner’s corner. Storm looked on, obviously not happy with this opening, although not all too concerned as yet. The brunette reached out with her long arms, looking to make a tag with Lyssa’s own flailing limbs.

It wasn’t quite enough… moments passed as Lyssa tried to inch her way towards the ropes… eventually, though, Storm decided that their fingertips had brushed, and abruptly stepped into the ring.

There were a few cries from the crowd that the tag had been quite a sketchy one, but there was enough grey area for the referee to hesitate.

In the meantime, Storm would get to work, moving to grab Yukino’s white hair in one hand, and use the other to pry her partner free from the dragon sleeper.

Yukino could feel the struggles and roils in Lyssa's body as she fought against the Dragon Sleeper, but she knew just as well that she couldn't give in now. Her teeth were locked into a grimace as she threw back her head, trying to dredge up all the strength she could find in her. Her muscles flexed even tighter, compressing Lyssa's airways as much as she could as her body went rigid. She knew that she could only hold onto this position for so long, especially when Lyssa was struggling against her so much. No matter how hard Yukino fought to hold on, Lyssa was still dragging her over to the ropes, inch by inch - even if Yukino didn't give in to fatigue and let go, Lyssa would soon be in range of a rope break. But that didn't matter. Yukino wasn't trying to tap Lyssa out any more. She just wanted to do as much damage as she could, for as long as she could!

Eventually, though, Lyssa did indeed manage to drag herself to the ropes - and when she did, there was even more trouble lying in wait for Yukino. Instead of just getting onto the ropes to make the white-haired girl let go, Lyssa instead managed to make the tag to her partner! Caught up in the heat of the moment, Yukino hardly noticed the tag - but she did hear Storm's footsteps against the canvas. And she looked up just in time to see that she was looming right over her shoulder!

Yukino's eyes went wide in shock as she looked up, but it was too late to avert her fate! Storm grabbed her by the hair, and Yukino cried out in pain as her head was jerked away, pulling her back into Storm's grasp! She had no choice but to release Lyssa - but, in return, she reached behind her to try and grab at Storm's wrist, attempting to pry it off of her as her legs kicked behind her! She wouldn't go down without a fight! "Gaah-!! Get off!"

Lyssa’s struggles had intensified as Yukino had ruthlessly focused on punishing her victim, leaving the blue-haired girl quivering in pain and struggling to breathe. Loud-mouthed Lyssa would have hated to admit it, but without the timely intervention of her partner here, she would have been doomed. As Yukino was finally forced to release the gruelling dragon sleeper, Lyssa flopped forward with a gasp. The flustered bluenette was clearly in a bad way, and massaged her aching joints in miserable self-pity, too drained to do anything else right now.

Storm, though, was relishing the chance to join battle. “Hello love,” she smiled drily as she grabbed her smaller opponent from behind. Yukino flailed angrily and gripped at Storm’s wrist, but Storm wasn’t planning on staying there for long.

The big Scotswoman eagerly accepted Yukino’s outstretched arm, grabbing it, and then turning her shoulder into her opponent, the two wrestlers standing back-to-back for a moment. Storm would then use her superior strength and leverage the arm hold into an over-the-shoulder flip, leaning forward and pulling on Yukino’s arm to send her flying over Storm’s head!

Storm had caught Yukino off guard in making her entry to the match, and that had left the white-haired girl flat-footed - just enough so that Lyssa would be able to get her under control. Yukino wasn't about to let that happen without a fight, though - and she flailed her legs behind her to try and shake her opponent off as she hauled her head higher. But when Yukino went to try and pull Storm's hand out of her hair...that was her first mistake. She didn't realize it, but she had just given her opponent the perfect handle to grab onto her. And Storm would do just that!

The idol gasped as she felt Storm take hold of her arm - but she caught on to what was happening too late to do anything about it. The next thing she knew, Storm had turned around, and slung her over her shoulder with one quick yank! Yukino's feet left the ground, and her legs kicked in the air as she was whirled around like she weighed nothing at all! The fans let out a gasp at such an impressive show of strength from Storm - and a moment later, they groaned in sympathy for Yukino when she made a hard impact with the canvas, causing the ring to shake!

Yukino's legs kicked into the air as she coughed and sputtered, the air knocked out of her lungs. Her chest rose and fell with every gasp for breath, and the world was spinning as she stared up at the lights. After a moment, she managed to roll herself up onto her side, propping herself up on her elbow, but she felt sore all over, and her body was heavy. She could only hope that Storm wasn't already launching her next move...
