Shadow Courtship (for Bare)

Getting into the roller coaster, Mara put on the safety bar as she was seated next to Finlay. She seemed to be very excited for the ride to start. "Aah... I'm so excited..." Mara said to Finlay. Once all the passengers had put on their safety bars, the roller coaster began moving, and Mara grabbed onto the safety bar before the roller coaster began to pick up speed.

"Whoa... woaa... WAAHH!!"

The roller coaster moved very fast in its track, and Mara held onto the bar as hard as she could as the roller coaster turned upside down while moving in a loop. Mara wasn't a stranger putting herself in dangerous situations, being a professional wrestler herself, but the roller coaster was something different altogether.

When the roller coaster returned back to its starting point, it was time for the passengers to disembark. Mara was still feeling the vertigo from the fast movement of the roller coaster, and after removing the safety bar, she got off the car, taking careful steps. She felt a little dizzy, but it was quite exciting. "What a ride... don't you think so, Finlay?" Mara turned and smiled at the New Zealander.

Finlay chuckled softly at Mara, her excitement being a bit contagious for him. That or her mere presence was a relaxing effect for him. Whatever the case he would nod in return to what she said. "Me too it looks like fun." He said as they finally entered the cars before pulling the safety bar down.

"Whoa!" He said as they jolted forward picking up speed and began zooming n directions he didn't even know was possible at such velocity! "Nghhh... whoa!" He groaned and yelled out, taking the whole thing a bit better than Mara, but definitely not able to no sell it.

When it finally pulled back in and allowing Mara to exit first Finlay would follow while shaking his head softly to clear the dizziness, definitely taking it a bit better. "Yeah it was something." He said before noticing how unsteady Mara seemed to be before stepping forward, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her in close against him.

"Here." He said, steadying his date against him.. and admittedly not minding the contact it brought between them as a result as they headed back into the amusement park proper.

When Finlay pulled her closer, Mara let out a cute yelp before she realized that the two of them were pretty close. Her cheeks turned bright red as the two of them walked next to each other, with her effectively leaning against him as they were heading back to the amusement park proper.

Mara gulped, knowing that she couldn't let this opportunity slip away. She was planning to confess, but it was still too early for that. Eyeing the Ferris wheel, she knew exactly how to enact that plan. Of course, she needed to rest first.

"Let's find somewhere to sit on first." Mara suggested. "Need to relax a little, you know?" She smiled cutely at Finlay.

After exiting the ride and heading back into the amusement park it wouldn't escape Finlay that Mara had yelped after pulling her in, but at the same time that she leaned into him. 'Guess she likes this then.' He thought to himself with a soft smile as they walked for a bit before Mara asked to sit down making him raise an eyebrow. "Huh? Oh yeah of course." He said to her with a nod before turning to head over towards a bend placed under a tree. Perfect for a little rest as he sat down next to Mara, sighing softly in content as he did so.

Going towards a bench, Mara sat next to Finlay and let out a content sigh. "Phew... that was pretty intense. Maybe we should've saved that for the last." Mara wondered before she looked at Finlay. She fidgeted a little, admiring the New Zealander's handsome face, though she made sure that her admiration remained discreet.

"Say, Finlay..." Mara began. "I just wanna know... do you enjoy hanging out with me?" Mara tilted her head as she asked Finlay that question.

[Bare]

Taking a seat on the bench and giving a soft sigh and smile he would look at Mara and let out a slight chuckle at what she said. "Heh, no I think it was good to get something like that out of the way early, ya know?" He asked her with a smile before leaning back against the bench, enjoying the moment and his date's presence.

Looking back over as she spoke thought he would lean forward slightly to show he was listening as she spoke. Raising an eyebrow he would hum in thought. "Hm no.." He said which would sound really bad at first, but then he'd continue.

"Enjoy isn't a strong enough word.. I'd almost say I love spending time with you. I don't use that word often, so its hard to say, but you're the person I prefer training with the most, and you have a certain optimism about you that I.. really admire. Honestly you're wonderful, and I find myself lucky you want to spend time with a killjoy like me." He said, chuckling at the self dig he made towards him while waiting to see how Mara reacted to his words.

When Finlay first said no, Mara blinked, as if unsure of what he just said, but then, he continued and clarified, and her expression brightened. When Finlay was done, Mara couldn't help but smile brightly. "I'm so glad to hear that, Finlay. Well... you're not a killjoy, you see? You're actually very cool, like someone I can depend on no matter what." Mara said, nodding her head.

Now that Mara had recovered from the excitement from the roller coaster, she had decided to continue enjoying the attraction. "Let's go to the carousel next." Mara said, grabbing Finlay's hand. "I wanna ride a pony!" She said excitedly.

As he spoke Finlay could tell that his little ruse was working as he intended, making Mara think one thing at first before revealing his true thoughts to her which seemed to instantly cheer her up. Feeling warm inside from the brightness of her smile and unable to help but smile back at her before leaning back a bit and chuckling as she returned the compliment. Calling him someone she could depend on.

It was honestly rather nice. But he wouldn't have too much time to dwell on the sentiment she gave him because Mara was quick to decide on what they'd do next, the carousel. Feeling his hand grabbed and pulled by her off the bench and towards the attraction. "Heh, whatever you say." He said, finding her childlike excitement rather endearing and as he trailed behind her at a more subdued pace... He'd admit that his eyes would wander down to her rear end as they made it to the ride, getting on without much a of wait

They arrived at the carousel, and Mara would get herself on one of the rides. She climbed up the pony, giving Finlay a full view of her rear end covered by her short skirt. Assuming that Finlay took a ride on the pony behind her, Mara looked over her shoulder to see him and smiled. "Here we go!" She exclaimed happily before the carousel started moving. While it wasn't as extreme as the roller coaster earlier, Mara seemed to be having fun as the pony ride moved up and down while gently moving around the carousel.

Following Mara to the carousel and thoroughly enjoying the view as he did so he would climb aboard on a horse behind her and sit back and relax for a significantly more relaxed ride than the rollercoaster. Whilst a bit more lax and tame, Finlay had a soft, warm smile on his face. Not necessarily cause he was enjoying the ride to a great extent, but because he could tell how much Mara was. "You seem rather attached to this one!" He called out to her as the ride moved along, deciding to make small talk since they were able too.
