The bitter taste of Defeat: Brynhild Ederne vs Kimiko “Kim” Nagasawa

"This victory is going to leave a bad taste in my mouth. I just know it is." Brynhild would think to herself as she noticed the smaller woman flailing around, attempting to find a way to loosen the tightness around her neck. As much as she knows and feels like she is doing the right thing for Kimiko, even if it makes her seem like a brutal heel for choking her smaller opponent out cold, as a mother to two older girls who are just as stubborn as her opponent is trying to be and willing to risk hurting themselves more to try to win, this is something she will not allow at all.

As the ref comes over to check on Kimiko, as soon as she sees the smaller woman's limb go limp from the submission hold, not even waiting to see if she awakens, the ref calls for the bell to be rung and starts to ask Brynhild to let the younger woman go so they can look at her shoulder.

"No, I got this... I let her go only after I knew what I was doing. She claims she is tightening the hold to ensure Kimiko is asleep, even if the smaller woman's face turns red, before releasing the hold and holding the smaller woman in her arms like a child... as she steps over the ring rope and carries her passed-out opponent to the medics who are waiting for them. "When she comes in, you give her my card and number." 'Tell her to call me later,' Brynhild says as she walks away, annoyed and disappointed that the match had to end this way.

Kimiko woke up to find herself in a medical bed with a couple LAW medical staff nearby. She tried to push herself up, but her head was so light she collapsed back down. "Where-... Where am I?" Kimiko asked muttered to herself.

One of the nurses piped up. "Oh, Ms. Nagasawa- I mean- Star Power! You're awake! How do you feel? Is your arm still hurting?"

Kimiko panicked, remembering about her broken arm. She instinctively reached for her shoulder expecting it to be in pain. But when she moved it she only felt a slight pain, nothing compared to what she felt earlier. Kimiko gasped. "What? It's not broken?!" she exclaimed, floored from what she was experiencing. "What did you do?"

"Oh wow- you must have an extremely low pain tolerance!" The nurse teased. "We did a quick examination and knew immediately that your arm wasn't broken, but your shoulder was clearly dislocated. We figured you'd appreciate us popping it back in while you were still asleep. It's a lot less painful that way!" the nurse laughed. "How are you feeling otherwise?"

Kimiko got up shakily. Her body was sufficiently beaten and bruised. She was incredibly sore all over, especially around her throat from being choked out, but it was all stuff she was all used to at this point. She turned to the nurse and said "I'm feeling good enough to go. I've had a long night, thanks for helping. I should go home, I need to rest." But before she could be on her way the nurse stopped her.

"Oh, and she wanted you to have this. She wants you to call her." the nurse told Kimiko, handing her Brynhild's card.

Kimiko took it, pausing for a moment feeling a little intimidated. She looked at the nurse and held up the card and said "Th-thanks..." curiously before leaving.

Kimiko eventually got to her dorm after cleaning herself at the locker room. She tried her best not to wake up her roommate as she stepped out onto the balcony. She pulled out Brynhild's card and started to enter in her number. It was late in the night, but Kimiko was secretly hoping that she wouldn't answer and it go to voicemail. It felt weird calling her victorious opponent, and she knew she'd be intimidated if she ended up speaking to her directly. "Well. Here goes nothing." Kimiko said to herself before pressing the call button. She leaned back on the wall nervously waiting for a response. She could feel her heart slightly racing in anticipation.

Brynhild is with her family celebrating a quick victory at their own restaurant. Her husband at the time wanted to throw a big party for his wife, and the girls had prepared food for her to eat and celebrate a victory over an opponent who, while cute, didn't have much of a chance against her at all.

But she did make sure the smaller woman was well taken care of after she got hurt and made sure that her number was left for Kimiko to call her when she woke up or something, depending on if she would do so due to some wild reasons that Brynhild could think of. "Hold on, Dear, the phone is ringing. I'll be right back, you sugar dumpling." The big woman would flirt with her husband as Freya and Elm would gag at their parents' wild flirting. "Hello Brynhild speaking, if you need anything, we've got everything you want," she says before checking the caller ID and seeing Kimiko's name on the screen.

"Oh, Hey, how are you feeling? I hope your arm is feeling better, you know. I am going to say... I am going to train you in the ring on how to be a better wrestler." I have seen your matches, and I don't like what I am seeing at all from you, so next week you are to meet me at the gym, and we will train alright. Star Power, we'll see you soon! She says this before hanging up, not allowing the smaller woman to speak, and even pumps her fist. "Oh yeah, I got a student now."
