Botan vs Aegis - Hunting day

Botan barely managed to counteract all the blows that his opponent threw at her, some managed to deflect them, but others hit her face, she knew that lasting like this would end up leaving her, but although the plan was to hold on, it would be useless if she could barely get up, so when she waited between blow and blow, Botan would try to turn around and now she was down, hoping that this would give her chances to change the situation in her favor, knowing that the best thing now was not to give space to Aegis.

As Aigis tried to pound through Botan's defense to get to her head, she assumed that her opponent would try something eventually out of necessity to escape her current position. And eventually, after she had blocked one of Aigis' blows, as the blonde pulled back for yet another, the wolf shifted. Turning from her back onto her stomach, seemingly to try and get up.

With the back of Botan's neck now turned to Aigis instead of her throat, the robot's chokehold attempt was temporarily taken off the table. But her opponent's defensive options create new chances for Aigis to try to make use of. For example, the blonde would try to get on top of Botan and mount her back. And once she did so, lock in a camel clutch.

Botan had been trying to get into a position that would give her better positioning, and although her partners warned her that turning her back might be effective, it was too risky to expose herself to attacks against her neck, which she was expecting, and it was when she turned around that she saw that Aigis would try to get on top of her, probably for some blocking like a camel clutch or a Sleeper Hold, Botan would place her hands on the canvas to forcefully push them both to the side, wanting some space to exist on them, so Botan could at least get on her knees, something much better than avoiding to be strangled.

When Aigis tried to get on top of Botan, there was a small window from the blonde starting to when she'd fully plant herself on top of her opponent where she would have to give up some of her control over Botan's body. It was in the window that the wolf bucked hard to defend herself. She threw Aigis backwards like a bull throwing it's rider. The robo wrestler fell onto her butt, then rolled backwards to stand up. "Admirable defense," said Aigis.

Botan had finally made it, she was free and could breathe a little without fighting, looking at her Opponent, she would stand up.

"I'm lucky that a friend is an MMA fighter, so in a direct or indirect way I have to learn to escape don't you think?"

She would say ready to go on, that had BEEN an unlikely start, but now she wouldn't let Aigis take advantage and try to take her down again for some grappling

Normally, Aigis would base her next move off of how her first one worked. If she attacked and succeeded, she'd keep attacking. If her opponent defended, then the blonde would cool off a bit. But this was a bit more complex of a spot. Technically, her attack had worked. But had it really worked because of superior ability and skill, or was it luck that allowed her on top of Botan?

Aigis chose to listen to the throbbing feeling in her stomach and slow down a bit rather than charge in again. She would still approach, not just allowing Botan to go on the attack as she pleased. But the robo wrestler would approach with more caution. Aigis would try to settle a bit out of range, and then dart in with a hard jab at Botan's face. Then regardless of whether the punch was blocked or hit, the blonde would throw more punches to try to maintain pressure.

Botan had thrown herself harshly against Aigis, it was time for the lioness to take her role and not just defend herself, but when she tried to get close, a blow would impact her face, making her almost stumble but keeping her standing, shaking her head, soon she would see more of those blows coming, protecting her face as she stood.

Aigi's blows were strong and you could really feel the energy in each one, Botan needed to get out of there, so she took the blows, and waited until she chose the moment to move to the side of the blow, taking Aigis' hand and trying to get behind her to use that hand against Aigis' own neck, though she well knew that one wrong move and Aigis would be punching Botan's face once again.

Aigis' first punches hit its mark and knocked Botan back. But as the blonde closed the distance a second time for more, it gave her opponent a window to get her guard up and defend herself. And because of that, Aigis' punches no longer got through. Instead thudding into Botan's guard. It was good pressure, and damaging the wolf's arms was certainly good, but Aigis was still frustrated that her blows weren't hitting a juicier target.

And then Botan went on the counterattack. Absorbing one of Aigis' stronger punches, then grabbing the wrist. Botan slipped the blonde's follow up punch as she got behind the robo wrestler, wrapping the arm she had grabbed around Aigis' neck in the process. "Gah!" Aigis grunted as her own arm cut off her breath. Botan positioned herself well, so it would be tough for Aigis to connect elbows behind herself to get free. So the blonde saw her best options as pulling at Botan's arm with her own, and firing stomp kicks downward into the wolf's foot and shin, hoping that she could sting her hard enough to escape. If Botan was able to keep her grip well enough to drag Aigis down onto her back, then there might be real trouble for the robot.

Botan had to go through a lot to achieve that situation, but when she managed to grab Aigis' arm and use it against her, Botan wouldn't let go easily, feeling the initial attacks, soon she would do something unexpected, taking a leap she would wrap her feet around Aigis' body, and with just her weight, she would lean back, looking to put Aigis in a worse situation

"Do you like it? Yukari told me something about you, and I think it was good of her to tell me."

Aigis was blasting her leg into Botan's, and knew that something had to give soon one way or another. And it did when Botan jumped up, dodging the kicks and wrapping her legs around Aigis' weight. "And what did she say?" asked Aigis. The blonde knew she had no chance of stopping this from going to the ground, so Aigis would pull forward as much as she could, and then throw herself back down to the canvas. Looking to crush Botan's body between the floor and her own body to force the wolf's hold to release so she could stand.
