Roaring Into The Storm: Wyvern vs. Alizeh Midori 2

The last thing Alizeh is likely to see with perfect clarity for some time is a growling flash of teeth from Wyvern as it becomes clear the taller wrestler won't be able to avoid her headbutt. The impact is no less than Alizeh probably remembers from their last battle; Wyvern's headbutts, while not without their drawbacks for her, hit like trucks. When Alizeh crumples from the blow, Wyvern releases her grip, allowing Alizeh to fall without opposition. Glaring down at her opponent, Wyvern ignores the loud jeering thrown her way by the crowd for the dishonorable tactic. As far as she was concerned, anything that didn't get you disqualified was part of the rules. She respected Alizeh far too much to hold back.

Briefly, Wyvern considers grabbing Alizeh's raised arm and using it as leverage for an attack, but then discards the notion as unnecessarily risky. Alizeh was a far better grappler than her, and there was no telling what she might be able to do if given the opportunity. And, unfortunately for the Texan, Wyvern's legs had been used less and thus recovered faster than her arms. Sidestepping her opponent's reaching arm, Wyvern winds up quickly before letting fly with a powerful roundhouse kick towards Alizeh's head, aiming to snap her backwards without giving her a chance to rest!

Alizeh and Wyvern's rematch was definitely starting off the way she always pictured it would. Combative, heated, brutal. Just what she was hoping for really. What she hadn't been hoping for though was one of Wyvern's headbuts smacking right into her face so early on in the bout. 'Fuck that hurts.' Alizeh thought to herself through the hurricane of pain signals swirling through her head following the initial impact. 'Dammit.' Alizeh thought to herself, trying to look up and focus on something in front of her, trying to at least grab onto Wyvern to steady herself, even if it potentially opened her up to a submission.

But contrary to what Alizeh would have expected Wyvern instead sidestepped Alizeh's attempt to reach out and try to grab her leg. Instead the woman turned on her heel and unleashed an absolutely devastating roundhouse kick right to Alizeh's head! "Gnnnh!" Not even having the chance to properly scream in pain from the move as it made impact, sending Alizeh's body arching backwards. Knees still under her Alizeh's entire upper half was on the mat, abs stretched out as a result and arms at her side as she looked up at the lights with a dazed look on her face, trying to get her bearings together.

That's it. Just like that.

Wyvern's ferocious assault on Alizeh had been going without a hitch thus far. After her initial outburst had floundered, she had calmed herself and returned to her more analytical, controlling pace, and that had proven far more effective. Alizeh was tough as hell, but repeated strikes to the head would floor anyone, and Wyvern didn't intend to give her a chance to recover. Letting fly with a hellacious kick, she aims to keep the momentum going. No thought of sympathy or mercy crosses her mind as the top of her foot slams into Alizeh's face and floors her. She liked the Texan wrestler far too much for nonsense like that.

As soon as both feet touch the ground, Wyvern presses the attack. Rather than unleashing yet another strike, she instead just takes a single step forward. In doing so, she places her booted foot in the center of Alizeh's chest, pinning her to the ground. As soon as she does so, she leans her entire body forward, draping one arm over her knee to put her full weight behind the foot. Underneath the descended curtain of her hair framing her face, she grins down malevolently at Alizeh. There's no need for words in this situation; the taunt is inherent to her body language and actions. Beside the two wrestlers, the referee drops to the mat, slamming one hand down onto the canvas.

"ONE!"

Alizeh panted softly in utter pain from the position she was left in after Wyvern's wicked series of moved on her that left her uttlerly rocked and in a bad position almost right off the bat of the match. 'Shit..' Alizeh thought to herself through the haze of pain that Wyvern had left her in. Even so however Alizeh was impressed, Wyvern was definitely being a bit more clever this time around than their initial bout which meant she was taking this a different route which would definitely make this matcy more interesting.

Unfortunately she couldn't express any of that for Wyvern. Rather she was far too occupied with the fact that the woman had stepped forward, pressing her boot against Alizeh's chest, pinning her this early on in the match! Looking up into the eyes of Wyvern she saw the woman leaning down, looking right into her eyes, and the taunt the woman was hitting her with became clear all too soon, and Alizeh's eyes narrowed through the haze of pain she was in. 'I don't think so.' Alizeh thought to herself as a soft growl emanated from her throat as her hands clenched tightly, all while the ref's count continued past the one.

"TWO!!"

"THR-"

"NO!" Roaring in protest Alizeh threw her arm up just before the ref's hand hit the mat for the three count! Breaking the pin she was in Alizeh would turn on her side, shoving Wyvern's boot off and turning on her side as she tried to catch her breath, the crowd erupting into cheers at the dramatic near fall!

As she presses further down on Alizeh's chest, Wyvern feels a surge of pleasure at seeing the pain and defiance in Alizeh's narrowing eyes. She knew this wouldn't be enough to break her opponent. On the contrary, it would only make her more motivated, and Wyvern couldn't wait to see what she would do as a result. There's no real intent to pin behind her actions; the crushing boot's main purpose is to keep up the (in this case very literal) pressure on her opponent. Moreover, the mocking nature of this position would only serve to sharpen Alizeh's need to win. Beating her at anything less than her best would be meaningless. The determined growl that emerges from her opponent despite her limited airflow only serves to confirm Wyvern's expectations.

Wyvern makes no effort to reclaim her position once Alizeh finally musters the strength to remove her, saving herself from an early pin at the same time. It had served its purpose. Any faint hope Alizeh might have had for respite is quickly dashed, however. Wyvern almost immediately tries to continue unleashing punishment, this time trying to grab Alizeh by her raised arm and attempting to haul her to her feet. If this succeeds, Wyvern intends to drive Alizeh's head between her legs before securing a double underhook, setting up for what will no doubt be another painful attack.

Alizeh managed to kick out... barely. Wyvern's early assault had done a number on her, especially her cranium and as a result she was somewhat stunned and in a heaping of pain, ripe for Wyvern to pin her with a simple boot to the chest. For anyone else it would be seen as mocking. But for Alizeh when she looked up into Wyvern's eyes she knew the woman was just motivating Alizeh in her own way to keep fighting, to push back and try to overcome her. Something that Alizeh didn't need any motivation to do. So with a roar of effort Alizeh shot her hand up, push her shoulder off the mat and shoving Wyvern's boot off of her all in one go, freeing herself from a early pin.

Unfortunately however Wyvern was far from done and Alizeh knew it. 'Thats it... no more ms nice girl. Alizeh thought to herself as she felt herself lifted up to her feet and suddenly shoved between between the dark haired woman's thighs, something she knew wouldn't be good. Unfortunately for her opponent however, Alizeh was done being pushed around. So wrapping her arms around Wyvern's legs and maintaining a tight grip to avoid the double underhook Alizeh would take a deep breath before pushing herself up, standing to her feet... and lifting Wyvern off her own if she was successful.

"Haragggggghhhh!!!" With a roar of effort Alizeh would then attempt to throw herself forward, flipping Wyvern off her back intending to slam the woman down into the mat with a alabama slam!

Wyvern had wasted no time in renewing her offensive after Alizeh escaped. Although her intended move required quite a bit of setup, she had just finished unleashing sheer hell on Alizeh, battering her opponent's head and preventing her from breathing properly, and the Irish wrestler assumed that the lingering damage would prevent Alizeh from retaliating. As has been the case several times previously, Wyvern underestimates Alizeh's sheer determination and toughness to her detriment. Wyvern's only warning of her opponent's recovery is a tightening grip on her legs. Not having used her full strength to try to restrain Alizeh's arms, Wyvern doesn't manage to break the hold in time, and her instant of surprise in response is enough for Alizeh to lift her entirely off of her feet and onto her shoulders.

Not knowing what to expect, Wyvern's discipline and training come to the fore. Unable to adequately prevent Alizeh's next move from her current position, Wyvern wraps her arms around her head to protect it, and forcibly relaxes her body in anticipation of what will no doubt be a powerful impact. She's not disappointed, as Alizeh drives her into the ground with a powerful Alabama Slam! "Hua...ha..." A strangled noise escapes Wyvern's mouth as the air is driven forcefully from her lungs. Even after protecting herself, the devastating throw is enough to momentarily stun her, and she lays gasping on the canvas as she tries to recover her breath.

Alizeh had been hurting majorly a moment before, but Wyvern's taunting pinfall attempt had been the wake up call necessary to push her into action and fight back against Wyvern. All to the point that in a surprising burst of strength and willpower Alizeh literally reversed the situation on Wyern and instead lifted her up into the air before bringing her crashing back down to the mat with a thunderous Alabama slam. Unfortunately there was one catch... that being that Alizeh was still exhausted and full of pain from Wyvern's onslaught. So despite the devastating move Alizeh had fallen on her ass, panting tiredly as a result of pushing herself so soon after sustaining so much injury herself.

Luckily at least Wyvern herself seemed pretty stunned giving Alizeh at least a moment to catch her breath before she scooted forward, reaching forward to try and grab her foes legs and lift them up. If successful Alizeh would try and wrap her legs around own before falling back, attempting to lock the dark haired girl in a figure four leg lock! "Try to take my head off will ya!" Alizeh roared much to the crowd's enjoyment if she managed to secure the hold, it was a risky strategy, but Alizeh was trying to make up ground in this match by using her specialty area submissions to both hurt Wyvern's legs for later, but also afford herself some more rest time after that early assault had nearly drained her.

"Heh...keh! Heh..."

Even as she tries to catch her breath after having the wind knocked out of her, Wyvern still manages to tilt her head up and choke out a harsh laugh upon seeing Alizeh falling flat on her ass following the Alabama Slam. The fit does nothing but hinder her here, but a combination of enjoyment and amusement leaves her unable to resist. After the brief utterance, she drops her head back onto the ground, still recovering. For a moment, there's quiet in the ring as both competitors catch their breaths, each having been put through substantial pain despite the match having lasted for scarcely more than a minute at this point. The crowd takes the opportunity to continue their cheers, crying out encouragement to Alizeh to get up and keep fighting. If there are any similar cheers for Wyvern, they are drowned out.

Wyvern does not offer any resistance as Alizeh contorts her legs into the Figure Four, pain jolting upwards as the hold is locked in and begins applying pressure. Hissing in pain, Wyvern forces herself to sit back up, supporting herself on her hands. She gives a thin, ghoulish grin through the pain, clearly feeling it despite her open defiance. She begins speaking, but still twists in the hold, feeling it out and looking for weaknesses.

"Seriously? The...Figure Four? Didn't know you were an...over the hill old man..." A pause. "Hey, you know when you're not supposed to use...a Figure Four?" Her ominous smile splits a little wider. "Against someone stronger than you."

With another near irresistible tide of force, Wyvern violently tries to rotate the pair on the mat, twisting further away from the ropes and flipping them both onto their stomachs. From this position, the pressure of the hold is reversed, something Wyvern wastes no time in taking advantage of!

Alizeh had taken some seriously heavy punishment early on in this match, and needed time to recover properly desperately. So she fell back on what she knew best, submissions, aiming to use a leg hold as a makeshift break for herself to recover a bit from that onslaught. It just so happened that due to the positioning that Alizeh felt a figure four hold was the best move to use to achieve that goal... Wyvern seemed to disagree.

Still though Alizeh would smirk at the dark haired woman despite the ghoulish grin on her face and big words. "Big talk from someone in a world of pain." Wyvern may not have shown it, but Alizeh could see the girl was hurting, all the little things pointed too it, the barely contained agony in her voice, the faint twitching of her legs and body, she was trying hard to keep her composure.

But she did have a point with what she said next. Eyes widening at the words Alizeh knew from the moment they left Wyvern's mouth to when they started to tilt over that she would have only moments to react. "Nice try!" Alizeh yelled, undoing her legs from Wyvern mid turn, escaping the pain of the pressure being reversed on her in the last moments!

Landing on her hands and knees Alizeh would immediately push up on her hands, attempting to scoot herself back and land on Wyvern's spine! "Hey you know you shouldn't lecture a technician and then open your bac to them!" Alizeh shot back to Wyvern's barb as she reached forward, trying to grab the girl's legs under each arm before leaning back, trying to secure her foe in a boston crab hold!
