Despite completely whiffing her staring move, Ruby was able to rally back from it. Making something out of nothing. Even if the move was a bit extra for what she ended up doing. Still it all worked out in the end so Ruby couldn’t complain to much. Alizeh was almost as fast as Ruby when she kicked out. Only the referee count to one.

Ruby felt that if she could keep her offense diverse. Then she would be keeping Alizeh guessing on what was next. That way Alizeh would have to think twice for whenever Ruby did something. You didn’t need to be a wrestling expert to know what move Ruby was going for. The basics of basics when it comes to submission holds. If this hold could go on for a bit longer Ruby might even deal some good damage.

So far the single legged Boston crab was holding Alizeh still. Ruby knew that some damage was at least being done. She could tell from the grunts of pain Alizeh was giving out. Not to mention Ruby could feel Alizeh’s back and leg tense up from the hold. Obviously Alizeh would try and work to get herself out of the hold. But Ruby would try her best to keep Alizeh down. Even if her choice in submission holds was poor at the moment.

People much more knowledgeable than Ruby, can tell you that the single legged crab didn’t offer much when it came to leverage. After all there is a free leg open to move around. Something a normal Boston crab prevents. Making matters worse was that Alizeh was a bit of a pro submission artist herself. Ruby just didn’t know it yet. So in one quick motion Alizeh twisted her hips and nearly bucked Ruby off. Turning them both around in the process. Still holding onto Alizeh’s leg Ruby felt like she could wrestle back control. Anyone would tell you that it’d be best to cut your losses here. So Alizeh pulled in both of legs with Ruby in as a by product. Shooting out both of her legs like a cannon! GAHH!! Slamming right into Ruby’s chest and sending her crashing backwards onto the mat holding her chest in pain. Even letting out some coughs, showing that the power off that kick was no joke.

So far Ruby was showing some pretty impressive speed against Alizeh. Something that the green haired girl definitely wouldn't deny the young red head had. Hard not too honestly. Though that being said as far as combat ingenuity and ring awareness went... Alizeh would probably have to give Ruby some negative marks there.

After all, a single legged crab almost right out of the gate without sufficiently stunning someone? Especially against a more technical based wrestler? It was just cockiness bordering on arrogance. Though in this case Alizeh would probably chalk it up more so to naivety than anything else. Otherwise Alizeh would really have to kick Ruby's ass.

For now however a good double kick to the chest would more than suffice. Knowing just by the sound of Ruby's shout of pain that it must have hurt than Alizeh would move to immediately push herself up as fast as possible. Looking over to see Ruby a little ways away seemingly down Alizeh would smirk and dart forward, reaching down to grab a firm hold of both of Ruby's legs before lifting them up.

"Let me give you a lesson on how to really do this." Alizeh said confidently with a smirk as she then moved to turn Ruby over onto her side before taking a few steps back and starting to bend. Thing was however that this wasn't a standard Boston crab. Oh no, Alizeh had Ruby's hips allll the way off the mat and was pushing down almost a completely vertical means on her spine for a high angle Boston crab to do some real damage!

Also, just so happening to show off Ruby's crotch, hips and abs to the crowd a good bit. Though that was purely unintentional.

Re: Crimson Emeralds: Ruby vs Alizeh

To start the match some things were easy to tell from both Alizeh and Ruby. Ruby was the fast and explosive one. Alizeh was the more calm and balanced one. The major thing that separated the two was experience. Alizeh had much more experience than Ruby. Not falling into beginner traps or knowing how to strategize better. Ruby’s single legged crab was the first showing off that. Didn’t take long for Alizeh to get herself out.

The single legged crab didn’t come out of some reason to insult Alizeh. Ruby was the furthest thing from arrogant. Sure there can be times where she can be overly confident. But never arrogant. The single legged crab, was only a move Ruby used to try and circumvent her lacking strength. The subpar hold and Ruby’s lacking strength made for a terrible combination. One Ruby would feel with a kick to her chest.

Ruby was down and out for just a moment. The pain in her chest was a lot, something she would get over but still it hurt. Alizeh on the other hand was quick with her offense. Darting over to Ruby and grabbing Ruby’s legs and lifting them up.

Ruby could feel what Alizeh was doing, but it wasn’t like Ruby could muscle her way out of the hold. Alizeh continued her prep and finally spoke to Ruby. Talking about some lesson she was going to give. What? Hardly a time to - AHHHHHH!! Ruby would say as she cut herself off with a painful scream with Alizeh’s hold. It was unlike any other hold Ruby has been through. Ruby’s hips were not even on the mat. No they were high up in the air. Which meant that Ruby’s crotch was all in display. This minor thought made Ruby go slightly red as she struggled to get out.

AAAHHHHHH!!! Ruby would continue to scream as Alizeh was really doing good damage. It wasn’t like the hold was inescapable though. But it wasn’t like Ruby could force her way out of it somehow. That’s when it hit Ruby. Thinking fast Ruby would use her hands to pick herself up. Almost as if she were doing a handstand. Now this was a position Ruby could work with. With her legs already around Alizeh she would just have to do the busy work. Pressuring Alizeh with her legs, Ruby would try to close them in on Alizeh. Not to hurt her, but to get a grip. With Ruby’s entire body she would use her legs backed up by her abdomen, finally with her arms being the final push. Ruby would use her legs to swing Alizeh forwards and throw her to the ground.

If this worked Ruby would work to get herself back up. Knowing her move would probably not do major damage. Getting to the ropes, Ruby would use them to get herself up. Still Ruby would keep Alizeh in mind, knowing she could easily pounce. Ruby would now be standing up using the ropes as support. The young redhead would now have to go through the match with this burning back pain.

As far as the match went Alizeh was already determined about which strategy she would utilize against her opponent. Thus far Ruby showed she was fast, incredibly so, and that would be a problem. Yet as fast as she may have been she was also pretty obviously green and inexperienced, a factor that Alizeh would be more than capable of exploiting throughout the bout when necessary.

For now what Alizeh was going to focus on was curbing how much Ruby could do and how fast she could do it. Which meant before anything that Alizeh would need to focus some technical offense to the girl's legs and back. So now with her high angle Boston crab in full effect on the smaller girl Alizeh was showing her just how high the level of difference was in how the two fought. Where Ruby went for a basic single legged crab, Alizeh went for a much more difficult to escape and overall more damaging high angled crab. It was small differences, but they were the kind that would come to matter in a big way down the line.

Although just because her technical game was at a higher level than Ruby's didn't meant that she was infallible or that her hold was inescapable. Soon enough Alizeh could feel the tightening of Ruby's legs around her waist, something that gave Alizeh a strong idea of what may happen next.. Sure enough Alizeh would find herself being pulled by the girl's legs and taken off her feet, thrown off and tossed forward by Ruby's legs!

"Oof!" Grunting as she hit the mat Alizeh would tuck her head in and roll with the momentum until she landed back on her feet, turning around as she did so to keep her eyes locked on where Ruby was. Sighing softly in relief as Alizeh only saw her up against the ropes that meant that she wouldn't have to worry about an immediate follow up.

Smirking a little however Alizeh would stand up fully and crack her neck a bit. "Good idea for an escape, though thats just the start of what I'm planning on putting you in." Alizeh said aloud to Ruby, aiming to get her attention and, hopefully goad the smaller girl into leaving her safe position by the ropes and into making a direct attack on Alizeh.

Granted she could take her chances charging or attempting to get Ruby from the corner herself, but there was a major risk that came with that, and if Alizeh could help it she would like to keep from exposing herself to it. "That being said, ready for you're next lesson?" Alizeh would then ask teasingly, trying to egg the girl on just enough...

This match already was going on a quick back and forth format. But for some reason Ruby hardly felt like her exchanges matched Alizeh’s. Ruby would have to do something else if she wanted to win this match. Alizeh already had some idea where to attack Ruby to make the most of it. Ruby on the other hand didn't have that. It was almost like she was just throwing things at Alizeh to see what sticks.

Ruby marked Alizeh down for being a technical type of wrestler. Even though it was one hold, not everyone would go for the hold Alizeh used on Ruby. It was more of an educated guess as opposed to being a fact. Still it wasn’t like that Ruby was in some impossible hold. Showing off some creativity Ruby would get out in her own way. Despite almost being bent in half, Ruby did learn that her hold wasn’t great to do. Quite literally learning the hard way.

Playing into her strengths, Ruby used her legs to throw Alizeh and thus freeing her from the hold. Ruby felt that she would use this time to do some thinking and recovering. The redhead herself was glad that Alizeh didn’t just rush Ruby. Despite being in a good position to counter, Ruby didn’t think that she’d be able to since she still needed time to recover.

Alizeh would fully stand up and crack her neck. Complimenting Ruby on her escape but also saying there was more to come. Ruby finally locking eyes with Alizeh and standing up straight. Thanks, but you could’ve just left it at that. Don’t tell me the obvious Ruby joked as she steadied her breathing.

Alizeh wasn’t done, she would continue going on Ruby verbally. Ruby wasn’t quite sure why since she thought that Alizeh knew about her advantage. If the experience was anything to go by Alizeh definitely knew about her position. Ruby might’ve not known Alizeh’s plan. But Ruby did know that it involved Ruby rushing in. Something that didn’t work out so great the first time she did it. So as odd as it looked and felt Ruby would show some patience. I’m more of a hands on kind of learner. Why don’t you show me Ruby said playing along with Alizeh.

Re: Crimson Emeralds: Ruby vs Alizeh

Up till now the match between Ruby and Alizeh had been going hot and heavy, following a pattern of Ruby rushing Alizeh and trying a few different things to varying success, only for Alizeh to inevitably find some way of taking Ruby back down and taking the advantage. It was to be expected given the sheer different in experience and technical skill between the two.

Though Alizeh would certainly commend Ruby's effort thus far, though she had to admit the girl would need to try something very different very soon if she wanted to make it much farther in this match. Even despite the experience advantage however Alizeh wanted to be sure to keep things in a way where she had the advantage, so rather than rush Ruby the older girl was trying to goad the red head in with some teasing, pushing for her to come in and make a mistake.

Despite that however Ruby just wasn't falling for it, even if it seemed like she was forcing herself not to move, effectively foiling Alizeh's plan. Despite that though Alizeh would smirk coyly at her opponent. "Smart girl.' Alizeh said, the respond being possible for both what Ruby said directly, as well as being a subtle nod to Ruby resisting the temptation that Alizeh threw her way.

"Just remember you asked for it." Alizeh said in a ominous way before bursting forward. While she may not be a outright speed demon like Ruby she was certainly still on the faster end of the spectrum, especially for middleweights. As she rushed and neared Ruby then Alizeh would leap up into the air, coming at the girl with one leg going forward for what seemed to be a running.

But there was a bit more to it than that. Alizeh was figuring that more than likely Ruby would try to dodge than meet her move head on with a block or counter. So Alizeh's extended knee was in a way that she could actually land perched on the middle rope with her foot and top rope with her hands, perfect positioning for Alizhe to vault her self to either side that Ruby tried to dodge to with a flying tackle!

Ruby figured that she needed to keep her head on straight. Obviously running head first into things without thinking. Last time she did that things were literally turned against her. Painful submission notwithstanding, Ruby would need to try to find someway to bridge the gap that the experience was making.

Ruby would need to try and keep things varied if there was any chance. A change for once would be having Alizeh make the first move. Seeing as how Ruby’s attempts would be turned on her head. Resisting Alizeh’s taunts were just the first step in this very long winded plan.

Rushing towards Ruby, Alizeh was finally going to be the one to break the calm. Ruby would keep her eye on Alizeh, trying to figure out her next move. Despite being faster still, Alize still had some speed on her. Quickly dodging to the side, Ruby would dodge Alizeh’s running leg attack. But just like Ruby’s move before there was more to it.

Alizeh was right to think Ruby would dodge the move. Using the ropes like Ruby as a springboard to jump off and tackle Ruby. GAH Ruby let out as Alizeh tackled Ruby to the mat. But this would be the perfect time for Ruby to flip things onto Alizeh. Before being taken down Ruby wrapped her legs around Alizeh’s body. Bracing for impact, once they landed on the mat. Ruby would lock in a guillotine choke, locking in this hard submission and taking a page out of Alizeh’s book. Ruby would be flexing hard enough for Alizeh to feel that Ruby was serious about this hold.

So far Ruby had impressed Alizeh quite well with what she had shown, but already the green haired girl was spotting some issues the red head had as well, the most notable being her lack of ring awareness. As Alizhe was about to demonstrate as, despite a seeming whiff of a running knee strike, it was just a ruse for Alizeh to make it to the ropes and vault off them before successfully crashing into Ruby for a flying tackle!

Managing to connect the move Alizeh was intending to use it as a chance to work Ruby into another hold with ground work seeming to be a weakness for the girl. However imagine Alizeh's surprise when she felt an arm wrap around her neck along with legs around her waist on their way down for a surprise guillotine choke!

"Ngh!" Alizeh groaned out as she was squeezed by the girl. Despite the squeeze however Alizeh was finding herself pleasantly surprised at the display of adaptability by Ruby. It wasn't something she had really been expecting but she was definitely appreciative of the creativity being put on display by the girl.

Although, pleasantly surprised or not, it wasn't gonna be enough to stop Alizeh. Grabbing onto Ruby's waist the green haired girl would work on getting her feet under her before pushing herself up to her feet, slowly but surely working herself into a standing position, something that wouldn't be too difficult given Alizeh's strength and Ruby's considerably lesser bodyweight. As she got up to her feet Alizeh would lift her hands up to Ruby's arm wrapped around her head, slowly but surely working it off from around her before locking her arms over Ruby's own!

If successful in doing so then Alizeh would jump up before dropping down, aiming to slam Ruby down with a wing clipper move! One that if successful she would push the girl flat on her back before moving herself to pin the girl in a way that was... considerably risque compared to a usual pinfall technique.

If Ruby was ever going to find a way through this match. It’d have to be by changing gears. More so to adapt as to what was happening. As opposed to just trying to make things work with her current skill set. Learning as the match went on, Ruby didn’t it know it but this match was helping Ruby improve.

Getting tackled down, Ruby acted quick to make something work. Otherwise Alizeh was going to run through Ruby. So making the best of things, Ruby would wrap her legs and arms around Alizeh. Locking her into a guillotine choke hold. Effectively turning the move right back on Alizeh.

Best case scenario here, Ruby chokes out Alizeh. Anything else is worst case scenario. Really showing off that Ruby can adapt on the fly to her matches. Now the focus was just choking the fight out of Alizeh. Grunting along as Ruby would adjust and make put more power behind the move.

Ruby felt that the move was working. At least since Alizeh was fighting back like a mad bull. Felling Alizeh grab onto her waist surprised Ruby. But she didn’t really think that Alizeh had something planned for this right? Slowly but surely Alizeh was making her way up back to standing. With Ruby hanging right on her. Ruby never cursed her size any more than at this current moment. If she was any heavier, Alizeh would not be able to do something like this. Once Alizeh was more or less standing upright. She worked to try and reverse Ruby’s hold. This time wrapping Ruby’s arm around her own!

Holding Ruby now while standing, Alizeh would jump up and drop down delivering a wing clipper move. Making Ruby nearly collapse under all the pressure. Giving a muffled grunt in pain since her body was right on Alizeh’s. Popping backwards as she laid nearly eagle spread if not for Alizeh’s body being so close. Alizeh wouldn’t skip a beat with this either. Quickly lifting Ruby’s legs up over her head. Now commencing a pinfall attempt. The referee would come in sliding and counting Ruby out.

Groaning in pain Ruby wasn’t exactly sure how Alizeh reversaled a reversal. Yet the pain was making it so that it was hard to focus on anything in particular. Yet when the referee counted 1! Ruby was shocked back into reality. Just as the referee counted 2! Ruby would flex her abdomen and send Alizeh off of her. Essentially kicking out of the hold. Groaning in pain Ruby would let out a … ngh…not fair…

Re: Crimson Emeralds: Ruby vs Alizeh

Alizeh had been pleasantly surprised by Ruby's quick reversal of her drop into a submission hold. It was quick and creative, definitely may have caught and done some real damage to someone without the raw strength Alizeh possessed, or if Ruby weighed a bit more.

Unfortunately for Ruby neither was the case and Alizeh was able to raw power her way out of it and not only turn the reversal to her advantage, but cause enough damage to lay Ruby out and pin her down to the mat all in one. A quick and seamless transition that double to look rather dominant on Alizeh's part with their positioning.

Despite the pain Ruby must have been in however the girl wasn't done quite yet and managed to kick out. Pushed back away from Ruby and onto her knees before the girl Alizeh would grin over at the red head as she mumbled about it not being fair which only caused the older girl to grin. "Heh sorry kid thats just what happens when you step into the ring with someone older, stronger, and more skilled than you." Alizeh said in, what was basically a brag, even if everything she said was technically true.

Getting up onto her feet however Alizeh wasn't looking to allow Ruby time to recover or formulate a plan. No Alizeh was intent on keeping the girl on edge and pressuring her with faster and faster paced offense as time went on between them. So Alizeh would change up the pace, going forward, landing on her hands and turning herself around on hand before dropping down legs first onto Ruby's body!

If the move connected successfully than Alizeh would roll backwards off of Ruby before jumping up once more into the air, turning and pulling her legs in to try and come down on Ruby's body a second time with a cannonball splash to finish her aerial combination!
