Northman Reunion

[Ghost]

Aloisa gave a quick nod, going through the list of people herself before she considered the best person for the job of sparring with Isabella. She had given Isabella a brief look-over before she would head upstairs to one of the practice rooms where the individual Aloisa wanted to ask was training.

While Isabella was inside one of the sparring rings, a new individual would step towards the sparring ring. The girl stopped in front of the ring to watch her sparring opponent, then took a moment to introduce herself.

"My name is Kanari. It seems Aloisa wants me to sing with you, let's hope you have the voice to keep up with me."

With that, Kanari would take the small staircase to get onto the side of the ring and would slip between the top and middle ropes. Getting inside the ring, she gave her opponent a proper look while sauntering around the ring. Kanari had already tested Aloisa's sparring rings better today, but Kanari was still active and spirited enough to fight, that alone would serve as Kanari's drive to show Isabella that a Rine was always ready for a fight. Kanari finally stopped in front of Isabella, taking a momen to bring her hands up to brush her hair to the sides, smoothing it out in the back. Kanari's beautiful two-toned hair almost made it look like the blue color on the inner side of her hair was glowing.

Kanari raised her hand, offering a handshake to Belinda first.

[Devastated]

Isabella would wait in the practice ring, she moved around the ring and tested out the ropes...making sure that it was a solidly built ring and that there was no chance of any malfunction or anything. She would bounce on her feet a bit, testing the springiness of the ring. After she was done with her little test she settled in the center of the squared circle, her arms crossed under generous rack.

She didn't have to wait very long before a new individual stepped into the ring. A beautiful young girl of raven hair with blue highlights. Isabella would raise an eyebrow when Kanari spoke and introduced herself.

"Sing huh? Let's see then what kind of duet with can perform Kanari." Isabella spoke out as she would accept Kanari's handshake. " I'm Isabella. Shall we discuss any rules to this contest? Or shall we simply get started."

[Ghost]

Taking Isabella's hand within her own, she would give it a gentle squeeze and a shake, starting things off with sportsmanship behavior even though they were planning to spar rather than having an actual match. Kanari would release Isabella's hand after a few, taking a few steps back but maintaining her presence at the center of the ring, at most she was giving them both a bit of space to get themselves ready for any kinds of stretching.

"A pleasure to be singing with you, Isabella. As for rules.. While I see no reason to have them for a spar, mayhaps you have some kind of do's and don'ts when it comes to fighting?"

Kanari said with a hint of interested, placing her hand upon her hip and would wait for her sparring partner's answer. Kanari was against hardcore stuff, but considering this was a spar and not a all out match with weapons, she had no quarrels to begin fighting right away.

[Devastated]

Kanari accepted her handshake and it seemed as if they would start off this spar with a bit of sportsmanship. The blonde would nod her head and soon pull her hand back after Kanari released it. She watched as the raven haired girl took a few steps back and Isabella would do the same. Creating a bit of distance between the two, the blonde would raise her arms up and entwine them as she leaned forward and did a low stretch, making sure her shoulders were limber and ready for this spar.

" I think we will be fine. Nothing in particular to discuss then unless you have anything you don't want to see in this spar." Isabella spoke as she would then straighten up. "Let's just keep it nice and simple for now." The blonde said as she would bring her arms up and get into a grappling stance. Getting ready to square off with Kanari, she would wait for her sparring partner to ready herself before she'd inch closer and offer a lock up.

[Ghost]

"I don't expect Aloisa to bring in simple grunts with a kick for pain, I'm sure this spar will be delightful for the both of us."

Kanari responded with a clear voice, taking her steps backwards when their handshake had ended and they could begin. They didn't need a bell, specially when it was a spar though that didn't mean the youngest Rine member would perform any less than it was an actual match. She sauntered forward when her opponent began to approach and offer a lock up to start things of.

It was a noble effort, and one that Kanari would never accept properly. Kanari did bring her arms up as if she was accepting the invitation, but then she swung forward, bringing her hip up against Isabella's front so she could try and grab the girl's arm so she can sling it over her shoulder and try to hiptoss her opponent down to the canvas to start things off on the ground instead.

[Devastated]

Isabella would nod her head at Kanari's words, she hoped that it would be true and that they would have a delightful spar. Moving forward after they had separated following their handshake, the blonde would raise her arms up and get ready to lock up with her sparring partner. The blonde would narrow her eyes as she inched closer and closer, seeing Kanari raise her arms up as if she was accepting the invitation for a lock up. Isabella would move in and try to lock up with the raven haired beauty!

Only to then feel the hands of Kanari grabbing onto her arm and that hip of the Rine girl being thrust up against her own hip. She was swun over and thrown down onto the canvas with a quick hip toss! Isabella grunted as she crashed hip first into the canvas, hissing out a little...surprised at the feint lock up.

[Ghost]

"You'll have to forgive me for using proper tactics in this spar. I prefer to fight with my head, and my thighs."

Kanari mused when her plan had worked. Kanari had a hunch that if she were to lock up with Isabella, then she would have no doubt faced a stronger opponent, or perhaps even a knee strike to her belly that would have Isabella gain the advantage. There was very little to do if she was at a disadvantage, so she rolled with the gamble of surprise, a provided element that would work in her favor of bringing the spar down to the combat early, where she could provide her own means of attack with her properly trained assets, which were Kanari's powerful thighs! Kanari struck the iron while it was hot. With her hands still holding onto Isabella's arm, she would quickly come down behind Isabella, wanting to wrap her legs around both Isabella's arm and her head, wanting to capture her newfound sparring opponent in a figure four headlock, with Isabella's arm trapped along with it!

[Devastated]

Isabella was downed by that hip-toss, letting a soft grumble under her breath, she'd narrow her eyes a bit as she looked up at Kanari who spoke out to her. Feeling her arm still trapped in her sparring partner's grip. The blonde had an idea! As she felt Kanari start to move down, the blonde would suddenly jerk forward! Trying to grab onto Kanari's wrist with her trapped hand and pull her foe down onto the canvas with her!

Looking to scramble on top of Kanari, as Isabella tried to take advantage of Kanari and push her down onto her front on the canvas! The blonde sought to press herself down, front to Kanari's back as she'd look to snake her arms around the raven-haired girl's neck and head for a grounded sleeper hold.

[Ghost]

Perhaps it was wiser for Kanari not to spill her strengths and strategies right from the start, yet this was a spar and Kanari aimed to have some fun into it, what better way than to let her opponent predict Kanari's moves but failing to stop them. The intention was there for Kanari when she would trap her opponent, yet she couldn't lock it in thanks to Isabella jerking forward and pulling Kanari down to the canvas, in a different way that Kanari had envisioned. Kanari released a gentle grunt when she was pushed down and forced onto her stomach right in front of her opponent.

There wasn't time to actually get up either thanks to Isabella quickly scrambling on top of her, not allowing Kanari the liberty of moving back onto her feet and instead Kanari was forced to remain on her stomach with Isabella's arms coming around her neck and head. Trapped in a sleeper hold this early was going to be a tough one. Kanari could throw a few elbows in quickly, but her strength laid in her legs, and while elbow shots were annoying, this early in the match they wouldn't do enough damage and she would be wasting time and strength. Instead, Kanari would try to sharply roll to the side, trying to roll them both towards the edge of the ring with the idea of making them both fall out of it!

[Devastated]

Isabella dropped down on top of Kanari, her hands moved quickly as she slid them in under Kanari and proceeded to wrap her arms around her sparring partner's neck and head, and with that she locked in the sleeper hold, a tight choke around her opponent. Though this was a spar, so she had no intention of choking Kanari out fully or any of the sort. It didn't seem as if that was going to matter much though, Isabella's intentions weren't going to become a factor, as Kanari had already worked out a solution to this situation.

The raven haired girl was still spry as the spar had literally just started, and she would roll with Isabella all to the edge of the ring, and then they tumbled right over! Isabella and Kanari crashed down onto the thin mats that surrounded the practice ring. The blonde grunted out, as she was forced to release the sleeper hold and roll up onto her knees, "Uf..clever." Isabella said as she rubbed her side a bit, pushing herself up to her feet as she did.
