Showing a Fun Time (for Devilish53)

The more that Viviana laughed, the more it caused the drunken Toshiko to laugh as well as she held onto her friend, smiling cheerfully. She then sighed contently, glancing at the snacks and then taking a few more chips eating them as she smiled warmly at Viviana. But then she mentioned it was getting late and Ito frowned, looking around at the bar they were at starting to be closed.

Toshiko would then shake Viviana by her arm excitedly and asked, her voice tittering with hopefulness, "But... But we're not done with spending time together, right? What are we going to do next!? We're having so much fun!" yelled out the Japanese girl. She wasn't ready to let her night end, not with how she was having the most fun she could remember ever having in her life, with her first genuine friend.

"No..not at all..!" Viviana quickly shot back, once more throwing that arm around Toshiko as she was done shaking it, to pull her newfound friend close in a one-armed hug.

"But...I don't know where we can go next..." She'd hum, their figures slowly making their way towards the door as they spoke, much to the enjoyment of one particular patron to the corner of the room, whom simply wanted peace and quiet.

"Where would you like to?"

Almost immediately, a big smile beamed across Toshiko's face when Viviana embraced her and announced they were certainly not ending their night. And then as they began to walk out, her smile faded when asked where to go. She had absolutely no idea. Ito went silent for a short time and then said plainly, "...I do not know either. Surely... There is some place we can go? What do friends do this late when they want to have fun?"

Toshiko asked the question in earnest, curiously looking at her Italian friend as she put her arm around her waist while they walked.

"Hmm.." Viviana pondered. Had she been in her hometown back in Italy, the choices would be few, but atleast Viviana would know them. Though they likely wouldn't stretch beyond more bars and quiet little pubs.

Looking down and still rather full from both food and the sudden consumption of alchohol, Viviana had narrowed down the choices in her head to those of the pure fun variety. And given where they were in town, there was next to only two options.

"We could...hmm..hit the arcades?" Viviana muttered, sounding as if she was thirteen, though the hour at hand would have prompted quite the stern telling-off from her parents had she been out at such an age.

"Or...or..." She'd lean in, opting to add some humorous emphasis as the two stood at the exit to the bar, with her hand to Toshiko's ear to emphasis the whisper.

"We could gamble.."

As they exited the bar and Viviana threw out her suggestion--an arcade--it confused Toshiko for a moment, trying to understand what she meant for a short while before coming to the realization on her own, sucking in a breath sharply upon figuring it out. But then Accera leaned in to whisper to her the other suggestion. Gambling...?

She had known gamblers, but they weren't the most honest sort. Perhaps that is why Viviana had whispered it to her. It was something they would do that was almost forbidden, or shady. While Toshiko had no interest in gambling before, the drunken Japanese girl couldn't help but break into giggles before leaning into Viviana and she smiled. "We can gamble!" shouted Ito loudly, before suddenly stifling herself and letting out a lower laugh and saying in a hushed tone. "We can gamble...!"

When Viviana brought up the topic of gambling, she hardly imagined some dingy back room with men in suits and smoking large cigars. She was more expecting a friendly table at the adult area of a local arcade. One in which she didn't imagine she and Toshiko would need to bust out of, like some buddy-cop film scene turned sour.

"OH MY GOD..." Viviana roared, in a chipper mood and then some as she broke her one armed embrace with Toshiko, to run down the street in the direction of the arcade in question, before turning to beckon her friend to join her.

"WE CAN GAMBLE!"

Toshiko watched the loud exclamation of her friend and immediately broke into a huge smile, looking overjoyed and possibly even happier than Viviana did. She was able to spend more time with her new friend, and her friend seemed like she wanted to! Ito would then chase after the Italian excitedly and shouted as well, "This will be so much fun!"

Despite her drunkenness, she managed to catch up to Accera, moving to take her hand as they ran. "I have never gambled before, but I haven't done a lot of things before tonight, so I anticipate this will be fun as well!" spoke the sheltered Japanese girl excitedly.

Viviana barely knew the rules of your standard card game, but she was already excited. Or was that Toshiko's gleam rubbing off on her?

Either way, she was hardly expecting to bet the entire bank tonight, not was she intent to carry on if her lack of knowledge was losing her money. The same she imagined went for her friend.

"I don't even really know how to play..." She'd laugh, the two moving at quite a pace for two drunken gals. "I think...blackjack...that's the one you need 21..right?"

Toshiko followed alongside Viviana, her brow furrowing at the mention of blackjack and the subsequent explanation. She struggled for a response, wracking her mind for any information on any gambling. She had seen slots, though she didn't know how that was won. And she felt like maybe once she saw a blackjack table, but she couldn't piece together anything. "I... do not know," admitted Toshiko.

"Twenty-one what?" she asked in confusion, almost trying to figure out what she meant. "Twenty-one dollars?" she suggested, very wrongly.

Admittedly Toshiko's curious response stopped Viviana in her tracks, with the tall Italian's eyes pulling quite the confused glare. In her own drunken stupor, it was hard for Viviana not to be confused rather easily.

"It...It may be..." She'd look to the ground, trying to seemingly compute. Before the obvious became apparent in her mind, though she'd use it as further chance to joke and prod at her newfound friend.

"Yeh...You have to win twenty one dollars...exactly...if you get too high or too low...they take you outside and..." A finger raised to her own throat, as Viviana got halfway through a motion across her neck before bursting into laughter.

"Just the number twenty one! You'll see as we play..!"
