Allen was charging towards Kayla, looking to hit her with an elbow smash to her head, but her opponent managed to duck under the incoming attack. But, the high-flyer would not stop her momentum as she would move towards the ropes. Once she reached the ropes, she would grab onto the top rope and heave herself up and over the ropes, getting herself onto the apron just outside the ropes. Then, she would turn around and face her opponent who was inside the ring, and she would prepare herself for her next step.
Keeping her eyes on Kayla, Allen would then leap up onto the top rope, momentarily balancing herself at the top before launching herself into the air, using the ropes as a springboard in order to perform a high-flying maneuver. She would try to amplify her jump with the ropes in order to attack her opponent with a crossbody. With the usage of the ropes, the move would be known as a springboard crossbody, in which she would try to hit her opponent's body with her own, looking to knock her down.

Re: Allen Riley vs. Kayla Grant - Hit and Run
Even if Kayla had managed to duck the initial attack, she herself was well aware she was working on borrowed time, and she only had moments to react before Allen would be able to make a move. The Californian took a few pants, clenching and unclenching her fists to try to steady herself as she looked around. It dawned on Kayla that she hadn't been keeping track of where Allen was now - and when she looked up, she would see she was gone, a fact that made her stop for just a moment.
When Kayla looked up, though, her questions would be answered - Allen had ran past her and gone for the ropes instead, and now she was lined up in place to launch an aerial manuever! Kayla felt fear wash over her as she realized her foe was in her element now - and in that split-second, she locked up, seeing the shadow of her opponent come over her. A moment later, Allen's full weight came crashing against her in a crossbody, and Kayla was knocked off her feet, landing on her back below her!

Re: Allen Riley vs. Kayla Grant - Hit and Run
Allen was indeed in her element at the moment as she launched herself into the air, looking to hit Kayla with a springboard crossbody. Her body crashed into her opponent's, sending her down into the mat, with her being on top of her opponent. Taking a few seconds to breathe out after having some air knocked out of her lungs due to the collision, Allen would maintain her position on top of Kayla as she would reach out for one of her legs, hooking her arm under the crook of her knee, lifting it up so that she could go for a pinfall attempt.
With that, the referee would come next to them and start counting for the pin, slapping the mat as she counted.
"ONE!"

Re: Allen Riley vs. Kayla Grant - Hit and Run
It was going to take some time for Kayla to recover from the direct hit she had taken with Allen going crashing straight into her, the impact knocking her off her feet. She groaned as her head rolled from side to side, and she tried to shake the cobwebs out of her head even being as dizzied as she was. Even if Allen too was out of it, she was still the one who landed the crossbody, rather than being trapped beneath it, and by the time she collected herself Kayla was yet to recover from the daze she found herself in. She still wouldn't be as Allen hooked the Californian's leg, pulling her body up into a pin attempt!
The referee got in place, moving to count the pin. But she would only get to the count of one before Kayla shook herself back to her senses, her brown hair tossing from side to side. She wouldn't let Allen take her down this early in the match, and she kicked her leg out to escape from her predicament while she bridged her back at the same time. She hoped that this would produce enough of an upset to shake Allen off her!

Re: Allen Riley vs. Kayla Grant - Hit and Run
Going for a pinfall attempt after hitting Kayla with a crossbody, Allen clicked her tongue when her opponent managed to kick out. Getting herself off of Kayla, Allen would then grab onto her opponent's arm, looking to pull her back up as she would also rise back up onto her feet, preparing herself to launch her next attack.
As soon as she got back up onto her feet, Allen would drag Kayla towards the nearest corner, planning to smash her chest first into the turnbuckle where she could proceed to attack her opponent at her own leisure. She knew that by weakening her opponent bit by bit, her chance to win this match would increase.

Re: Allen Riley vs. Kayla Grant - Hit and Run
Raising her body off the ground, Kayla tried to leverage her upward motion to buck herself up and knock Allen off of her in the process. She managed to force the Englishwoman back as she kicked out of the pin - but her foe would prove to have more left in her after that than Kayla had bargained for, and she was still going to be on her toes! With a groan, Kayla was yanked to her feet by the arm, her legs hesitantly looking for their footing under her as Allen dragged her to the corner.
Focusing her efforts on the situation in front of her, Kayla grit her teeth and growled in frustration, trying to raise her arm in order to fire a forearm into Allen's back. She wouldn't let herself be pushed around so easily, and she had to get some resistance in. However, Allen wouldn't be slowed by that, and she still carried through with her plan, swinging Kayla around and slamming the Californian girl's ample chest into the turnbuckle! Kayla's head rolled back, and she cried out in pain from the sudden shock of the impact, slipping down on her knees. She had been left stunned, ready for Allen to take advantage!

Re: Allen Riley vs. Kayla Grant - Hit and Run
Dragging Kayla towards the corner, looking to slam her chest first into the turnbuckle, Allen didn't see that her opponent was going to attack, and when Kayla hit her right at her back, she groaned, almost stopping her advance, but she continued on and brought her opponent chest first into the turnbuckle.
Thanks to the attack to her back earlier, Allen had to take at least five seconds to regain her bearing after slamming Kayla into the corner. Then, she would move towards the opposite corner, distancing herself from her opponent before she started sprinting, running towards the cornered Kayla.
Then, she would leap up into the air, looking to hit her opponent with a vicious-looking running dropkick, aiming to drive both her boots into Kayla's back while she was at the corner. Hopefully, this would leave her opponent devastated and weakened, allowing the British daredevil to continue with her momentum.

Re: Allen Riley vs. Kayla Grant - Hit and Run
Even if Allen needed a moment to catch her breath, Kayla would certainly have to afford that to her - having come crashing straight into the corner post, she had been left stunned, and she was still trying to come back down from the painful impact of her chest against the turnbuckles. She panted for breath, her face red as she tried to call the air back into her lungs as she slumped forward to drape her arms limply over the ropes.
However, Allen was already in motion to take things back in her favor - and she came barreling back towards the unsuspecting Californian at full speeds! Kayla began to look back over her shoulder just in time to see Allen land a dropkick straight into her back, further jostling her against the post! "GHHHKK..!!" she gagged, once again having the air knocked out of her as she collapsed against the ropes. Her head was spinning, and she bent over the ring post, her arms dangling over the edge of the ring now. Allen would certainly have the opportunity to capitalize!

Re: Allen Riley vs. Kayla Grant - Hit and Run
Allen went to deliver a dropkick at Kayla who was currently at the corner, driving both her feet into her back, dealing more damage on her. Landing on her back, Allen would then push herself up, considering what to do next. Thinking that her opponent might have taken a lot of damage, she decided that it might be time for her to test her luck and see if she could get a win out of this. Getting up, she would grab onto Kayla's body before pulling her away from the corner.
Then, she would make sure to laid Kayla out onto the mat, getting her laid out flat on her back. Brushing aside some stray locks off her forehead, she would get down onto her opponent's body, pressing herself against her while hooking one of her legs up, going for a pinfall attempt. The referee would move next to them and start counting for the pin, slapping the mat as she counted

Re: Allen Riley vs. Kayla Grant - Hit and Run
The first hit, of being plowed straight into the corner post, was bad enough - but Allen had to follow that up with a dropkick into Kayla's back, which only hammered the Californian further! Now she was out of breath, leaning against the turnbuckles on weary legs as the room spun around her. She could barely tell what was going on through all the haze, but she knew the match was still on. And she had to keep on fighting, she told herself! She owed it to herself to push through and to give it her all! After all, after she had been defeated by Thunder Ryuko, Kayla had vowed she wouldn't let herself be bested so easily!
Nevertheless, she was still in a prime position for an opponent to push their advantage, which was exactly what Allen proceeded to do. She latched onto Kayla and rolled her backwards, bringing her against the mat and causing her to let out a gasp from the sensation of being thrown to her back. Then, Allen hooked her leg, and the ref girl fell into place!
"One! Two!"
The referee raised her hand a third time. With no sign of response from Kayla, she began to lower it once again. It looked as though Allen would emerge victorious - but right in that moment, Kayla looked out, and she saw the hand about to slap the mat right beside her. She knew that if that happened, all would be lost - so she wouldn't allow it! Raising her leg, Kayla managed to kick out at the last moment, bringing her shoulders up just as the ref was about to count three!
"Th-NO! Only two!" Stopping where she was, the ref threw up two fingers, indicating that things weren't over between the two wrestlers!
