Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo

Hinoka might have been surprised by Michiko's quick recovery, but even the lilac-haired heroine was still wondering if she had really done that. It had been a very close call, and she wasn't sure she could get out in time - but get out in time she did! With a confident grin, Michiko brought herself up, and soon after she came to her feet. After shaking herself out, Michiko brought up her fists, ready to keep the action going. She nodded to Hinoka's challenge with a smile. "I'm not going down until you can prove you can keep me there!" she shouted.

Now that she had recovered by a much-needed stroke of luck, Michiko was hoping it'd last her long. She was willing to test that, and she was quick to charge back in and throw a punch to the side of Hinoka's head with all her might! If she could get in quick, she thought, she would quite literally beat her to the punch, opening this stage of the match in her favor.

"Heh I like your spirit. That's one thing" Hinoka said smiling back at her foe as the two had a bit of a staredown before they were about to butt heads once more. Both wrestlers ran towards each other, trying to be the first to knock the other down. Like her opponent Hinoka reared back her arm, preparing a punch of her own but to the throat. She got the idea of spin kicking Michiko while she was stunned.

Hinoka swung her arm which was followed by a thump. However the redhead's fist only hit the air as Michiko connected with her own punch a second before. "No..." was all Hinoka could say before fall back. She stood clutching her head as it was still shaking from the strike. It looks like Michiko has the opportunity to take charge.

With the two women charging in towards one another, it was all up to a contest of speed, to see who would be the first to land the blow. Michiko was, of course, dead set on making sure it would be her, but she also knew the risk of her tactics. Focused solely on offense, Michiko didn't have a plan in case it was Hinoka who struck first - she just had to hurl herself forward and hope for the best.

But, as luck would have it, that was what worked out for her, as her fist slammed into Hinoka with a crack, sending the red-haired girl backwards! Michiko pumped a fist in the air, cheering herself on, before she closed in to follow up now that her opponent was stunned. Slipping behind her, she ran her arm between Hinoka's legs to bring her up for a bodyslam!

Unluckily for Hinoka, her opponent was more than willing to make the most of the situation. As if she was light as a feather, the power based wrestler lifted her opponent into the air, forcing the redhead into an upside down position. Little birds may as well be circling Hinoka's current state. She couldn't tell from left and right, therefore leaving her under Michiko's mercy.

With no interruption, Michiko brought Hinoka to the ground with a hard powerslam. "Why is it always there!" Hinoka muttered before growling. She always landed in the same place in the same angle throughout this match. Outside of slightly raising her knees, she was stiff as a statue from the shock.

Michiko could tell that Hinoka was in less than great shape from her impromptu landing, and that meant the time was just right for her to strike - which she did, coming in to scoop her opponent up and bodyslam her with a canvas-shaking thud! Now Michiko could hear some cheers coming for her, and she had to indulge herself with a little cheer, pumping a fist in the air. But she was hardly finished now!

Seeing Hinoka try to raise her knees, Michiko could tell her opponent was starting to get up. But she was already in action, preparing her retaliation! She charged to the ropes across the ring, going to propel her back towards Hinoka as she readied to hit her with a knee drop!

It was difficult to tell which of the two was the crowd favourite in this bout. Both won the hearts of many with their sheer tenacity, however one of these ladies will fall eventually. Hinoka looked to be in this state as she made light grunts while lying down. Michiko was willing to double down, believing the redhead had something planned. To an extent she was correct.

She knew something was fishy with the other wrestler being out of her sight even only for a few seconds. A sneak attack from behind? One wrong action could easily spell disaster. How was the lilac haired wrestler going to approach her? She got her answer in the form of her foe looming towards her. A simple rushdown technique. "No....not like this!" Hinoka tried rolling aside however her reactions were tad a too slow. Michiko's knee went straight through her gut. "Aghhhhhhh!!!!" the drop led to the redhead wheezing and arching up her body before dropping down. The attack seemed to have left her paralysed.

Though Michiko was usually the type to draw on her physical strength to win her battles, she was still quite capable of moving. In fact, it was her lightning speed despite her powerful strength that had allowed her to practice the flashy, yet hard-hitting style she had made herself famous for. She was always someone who wanted to finish off a match with a bang - and this would be no exception! Catapulting herself off the ropes and into the downed Hinoka, Michiko felt the impact go through her body, and she was sure she had brought things to a high-impact finish!

She heard the cheers go through the stands, as the fans burst with excitement at seeing her take down an opponent who was proving to be a worthy match for Michiko. The lilac-haired girl grinned to them, waving a hand to the crowd before she got down onto the downed Hinoka. Seeing how the strength seemed to have left her body on the collision, Michiko thought this was high time to go for the finish, and she hooked Hinoka's leg to try and score the pin!

"One!"

Eyes closed and body motionless besides a few twitching. It be crushing for Hinoka's psyche to be defeated by an attack from an above? She hated to admit that her opponent was superior in terms of brawn and possibly strategy too. But was she greater in terms of sheer willpower? The redhead made no response as the referee made the first count.

"Two!

Not much after the second count either. Spectators were literally at the edge of their seat and ready to clap or jeer. The official's arm was raised and was about to meet the mat for the final time. A stage light would be focused on the two wrestlers in the centre. "Urgh.... Hinoka groaned as some light got into her eyes. Opening them up slightly, she realised the predicament she was in. No more second chances for her. "GET THE HELL OFF ME!" she roared at Michiko. A surge of adrenaline awoken her body from paralysis as she shoved the lilac wrestler off of her. It was a miracle for Hinoka to get another loss added to her record. She crawled backwards trying to reach for a rope.

Michiko's body was tense, and a smirk began to grow across her face the more time ticked by, and the higher the counts grew. She had Hinoka down, and it looked as though it would be for long enough for her to score the pinfall! Hinoka had made things tricky for her, but for now everything seemed like it was coming together. Just a little longer, and Michiko would have a win worth celebrating.

But suddenly, Michiko heard the cry coming from the red-haired girl beneath her - and it was enough to make her gasp. Hinoka managed to raise herself enough to bring her shoulders off the canvas, ceasing the count in prorgess. With Michiko taken by surprise because of the upset, she left herself open, and Hinoka proced able to shove on her shoulders as she dragged herself out and went for the ropes. Michiko fell onto her stomach, needing a moment to catch her breath. But once she caught it, she was already picking herself back up, pushing herself up to her knees as Hinoka was trying to get back on her feet.

"Nice try...but I don't think so!" Michiko called out, charging towards Hinoka once again. She aimed to close the distance before Hinoka could get back up, and then to scoop her up off the ground, hoping to get her into a fireman's carry! From there, her next plan would be to carry Hinoka towards the corner, her eyes set on the ropes so that she could hit her from an even greater altitude; perhaps that would be enough to keep the high-flyer down.

She only had a few more inches before the ropes were within her grasps while shuffling across the mat. Even then, at best Hinoka couldn't do much besides she could only crouch down and hoped her opponent pulled a muscle by accident. If only her body's current state matched her quickly recovering spirit. It was almost like she was becoming a statue. The redhead having nothing better to do reached for the rope.

She found herself getting elevated off that mat but it wasn't through her own will. Her opponent decided to help her up at the worst possible time. "Don't drop me!" Hinoka responded as she was slung over Michiko's shoulder and was carried away from the edge. Not wanting to dropped onto her head accidentally didn't try to punch or kick the lilac haired wrestler up. Maybe she could use more of her opponent's help in someway...
