Russian Roulette - Never bet against the house

Unread post by RiotGrrl »

"AGGGH!"

The sound of frustration was loud enough for even those in the arena to hear.

Valentina sighed as she continued the facetime call with her tag team partner, Natasha.

"Look Natty, I get it, but soon we will be basking in tag team gold and then dominate this place. Just wait?"

Natasha had a look on her face that could sour cream. As she paced around backstage, it was obvious the Russian was spoiling for a fight. Previously an unfortunate LAW crew member was laid out by a swift right hand, but even that didnt make things better. In fact, it probably made them worse as the Russian would at the very least be fined.

"Why wait, we should hold every belt, the bookers and management here are idiots!"

Val again tried to calm the wild loose cannon

"I get it, but at least wait until I am in Japan. You know that I had to return to the Ukraine on personal business."

Natasha growled and tried to complain for a second time but Valentina, the tactical wizard both inside and out cut across her tag partners claims

"Natty, dont do anything stupid. Last time you were alone you challenged Matsumi and she crushed you under all 400lbs of her...."

"STOP! Ugh dont say it!"

Val paused. "OK, well listen then, look I gotta go, my train is here..."

Natasha nodded and hung up the phone. She looked thoughtful, the wheels were turning, and this wasnt good. As she lurked backstage, on the screen infront of her was a LAW promo. The promo showed The SWAT Cats, Alaina, Dana Ashford and the Wings Of Wrestling amongst others. It was for a local meet and greet, with no mention of the Imperial Russian Empire.

Talk about red rag to a bull!

"Fuck it!"

Natasha exclaimed and stomped toward the entrance to the arena, she had a lot to say, and had to say it, despite the advice of Valentina

As Natasha emerged to a packed crowd the boos were loud and clear. There wasnt even any time to cue her music. She snatched a microphone from a scared crew member and spoke to address the crowd.

"OK quit your booing because I have a LOT of things I have to say...."

She slipped into the ring and arrogantly sat herself on the turnbuckle, a sign of total disrespect to LAW in this area of Japan where ceremony was a proud tradition

"This is a message to the stupid pathetic "talent" if you can call it that, the management of LAW and frankly all of you idiots who pour money into this company...."

Nat was in her element, this had been boiling for sometime

"So we have jobber losers like the SWAT Cats who are due to win every match they have because they kiss the ass of management, and let me tell you do a LOT more..."

*crudely makes a motion to imply the SWAT Cats offer sexual favours*

The crowd boo and whistle as the riot from Nat's mouth continues

"Then we have the Wings of Wrestling who couldnt even beat those Jailbirds, I mean I think they enjoyed having their faces sat on, did you see the wet patches? Not a good look ladies..."

Nat paused to laugh and shook her head

"Dont even get me started on Alaina, Jesus Christ! Has LAW got a bad pension policy or something that we have to have a grandma wobble her way to the ring and then "power" through a match..."

Nat jumped off the turnbuckle and paced like a caged tiger.

"I could go on but it gets kinda mean... The point is the management here are clowns! Not only do they book terrible wrestlers to win but you all lap it up. And wait, this isnt sour grapes, I couldnt care less, but the fact Dana Ashford is rumoured to be LAW Open Champ makes me want to puke!"

The crowd gasped at the revelation and somewhere the writers were moving in a flurry as Nat had potentially just undone weeks if not months of storylines."

"Oops I am breaking the fourth wall just like CM Punk, speaking of which, you all recall him leaving due to WWE messing up, well LAW is WWE ha!'

The crowd were dismayed and instantly the microphone cut. Natasha tapped it and slammed it down running to the ropes demanding a new mic. She was hastily given one and continued

"See I am silenced here, because they dont want winners, LAW promote side show wannabe wrestlers, which I could beat easily. In fact, lets see. Has managment got any balls, come out here, bring your best, and watch some REAL wrestling skill!"

Natasha paused and beckoned toward the ramp as the crowd waited in anticipation

Alaina and Tina were backstage listening to Natasha go on a rant again. Alaina heard their team mentioned specifically and motioned towards the ramp. "Tina lets go set the record straight, I feel like Natasha has had enough time ranting. Keep an eye on that partner of hers and if things get crazy Natasha is mine." Alaina said with a wink as Tina nodded, smiling as she herself agreed.

Before long the Thundergirls music began to play and the team appeared at the top of the ramp with Alaina holding a mic as the two walked confidently towards the ring. "Natasha, you poor delusional woman... did I hit you too hard the last time we fought? I think I amabombed you so hard that your memory has been totally lost! The last couple times you tried to take me on inside those ropes you lost. You can't seem to admit that I am still a top tier wrestler who is just.... I don't know.... better than you are right now." Alaina said with a shrug as she stood at the base of the ring, sliding in alongside Tina.

Tina kept her eye on the women but let Alaina keep her focus on Natasha. As much as she hated these two women she knew Alaina and Natasha were the key players in the rivalry. Hell short of Karen this may be the woman Alaina hated most in her return, if not in her entire career!

Natasha waited and as soon as the Thundergirls music hit, she threw her hands up and shook her head. With a big sarcastic smile on her face, Natasha leaned on the ropes and listened, clapping and nodding to mock both Alaina and Tina. The Russian wasnt stupid however, she knew this was a numbers game, and right now, it didnt favour Natasha. She soon backed away and rested arrogantly at the corner.

When Alaina had finished, Natasha raised the microphone to her mouth

"Ah if it isnt my two favourite bitches. Hows the tag team quest going? Havent seen you in action for a while..."

The comment instantly drew heat and boo's from the crowd. The Thundergirls were top tier and everyone knew it.

"Yeah yeah, BOOOOOO! Now Alaina, I will give you some credit, that Amabomb is quite a move. So yeah, you did beat me with it, but it was only after both me and my wonderful tag partner slapped you so hard that you should have thought about retirement. Speaking of which, how is the LAW pension fund? Still keeping you and the girl wonder here in false teeth and medical care?"

Natasha smugly lurked at the turnbuckle, she would love nothing less than to get some revenge on Alaina but the situation called for the Russian to goad the pair into a mistake.

Tina hung back while Alaina moved in. The younger wrestler was curious as to what her older counterpart was going to do. Alaina was going to play it cool though.... right?

Alaina moved in towards Natasha, standing in the center of the ring. "Turn around and look at me little girl. If you are so tough come say all that right to my face. I will even crouch a little so you ca be eye level with me little woman. I mean, if you are scared or something that is fine. I understand that getting your big ass kicked all over by a woman old enough to be your mom that could rattle you or something." Alaina said with a shrug, getting a few laughs from the crowd. She wanted Natasha to come to her, not fully trusting the corner at the moment. She had been on the wrong end of too many of Natasha's tricks by now to know that going over there wasn't a good idea.

As Natasha turned away to taunt the crowd at ringside who were unimpressed with the Russian's antics, she heard Alaina. It wasnt so much that the heavyweight replied with her own sass, it was what she said. Natasha turned sharply and threw a steely glance at the Amazon. It was true, she hated Alaina just as much as anyone, but something really got under the Russian's skin. Perhaps even worse than Kat, who Natasha loathed but loved in an odd way.

"Little woman? LITTLE.. WOMAN??"

The Russian approached and stood toe to toe with Alaina, or at least as much as she could given the sheer size difference. She made sure to press her considerable chest against Alaina and didnt flinch her gaze even once.

"You can talk all you like Amazon, but we both know in an equal match, I would end that career you are so proud of..."

She glanced at Tina, still aware that this was potentially a 2v1 should the situation arise.

"Oh and also, you really need your little pet to handle me?"

The crowd grew hyped wanting the pair to go at it for what would be a monumental battle, but perhaps things were going to change for Natasha in a big way. Right now, she was focused on Alaina.

"Come on Amazon, free shot! Lets go!!"

Alaina shook her head while Tina just leaned back against the ropes, watching the madness unfold. The amazon rushed at Natasha and waste no time in trying to spear her to the mat, mounting her after and pounding on her with a rain of punches that bore all the power... and anger... of the amazon! "Shut up you stupid twit! You know nothing about greatness in the ring! You are good... but you won't ever beat me again if I have anything to say about it!" Alaina shouted as she began mounting Natasha, hammering away at her with punches as their little chat had quickly devolved into a violent brawl! Alaina was fueled by frustration and anger, recalling her tag defeat to Natasha as well as Natasha defeating her in their first solo match fresh in her memory.

The Russian called the thunder and by God it came! As Alaina rushed Natasha the spear drew a loud OOOOHHHH from the crowd. The bump the Russian took was heavy and being floored underneath the Amazon at anytime was bad, however an angry Amazon was flat out dangerous! As Natasha landed she groaned, the air escaping her lungs as her stomach exploded from the shoulder with pain. Soon enough Alaina rained down blows and the Russian raised her hands to cover her head like a boxer.

Natasha rocked back and forth, moving from side to side to escape the hammering from Alaina. She managed to somehow wriggle free and scooted back toward the nearest escape which happened to be the turnbuckle. Natasha was flustered, her body and head aching from the shots. The Russian sat there, chest rising and falling as she spat arrogantly on the canvas at the corner and wiped her mouth to check if the Amazon had busted her open....

....Fortunately not, Alaina had only managed to rough the Russian up, but it was enough. Natasha sneered, this was the fight of her life. Running high on adrenaline she knew that she couldnt handle a fired up Alaina. Natasha tried to lay and roll, looking for escape under the ropes. She needed time and this was an obvious move from the Russian. If she managed to get free of the ring carnage, Natasha would seek refuge for a few moments at ringside next to the barrier

Alaina was not going to let Natasha off that easily. As soon as she scooted away Alaina was right on her heels knowing that giving Natasha breathing room when you couldn't keep an eye on what she was doing was essentially a fatal mistake in a match. This wasn't a match but Alaina was determined to stand over the half knocked out body of this woman!

As Alaina gave chase she wound up a nasty uppercut, trying to hammer into Natasha's jaw as hard as she could! After that Alaina would try to grab hold of Natasha's hair and keep hold, parading Natasha around to the barricade, announce table, ringpost, steel steps.... anything she could smash Natasha's skull off of she was going to! This lady was going to have quite a headache if Alaina had anything to say about it!

As Natasha made her escape, she felt the rush of the uppercut but it missed, thankfully. Otherwise it would have likely KO'd the Russian there and then. Alaina had a lot of power especially when it came to throwing punches. On the outside, Natasha ended up at the barrier and was breathing deeply. She glared at Alaina as the Amazon tried to take her head off.

"Too close..."

Natasha mumbled to herself but had to deal with Alaina who was out of the ring and now right up in the Russian's face with a handful of hair. Despite the protests, it seemed to be the ring steps that Alaina was targeting.

CLANG!

The loud bang sent the ring steps toppling apart and Natasha clutched her nose, as she rolled off them onto her back. Her face screwed up tight trying to stop the ringing in her head. The crowd meanwhile were looking at the action and some sections at the ramp. Perhaps there was a distraction but for now, Natasha was in serious trouble in what seemed to be a lynching.

Sure enough a ref girl appeared out of nowhere and raced to try to stop Alaina from pounding Natasha into next week. It would buy the Russian some time, but this was going to get worse for Natasha before they got better

If this broke out into an official match, then at least the ref girl could count pins and alike

Alaina wasn't really interested in an official match at this point as she was smashing. Natasha around. Getting her hands is on Natasha seemed to be making her plenty satisfied.

The amazon kept hold of Natasha and tried to lift her up to slam her on the table as hard as she could! Alaina seemed to be setting Natasha up for something bigger although her partner started to catch on to something.

As Alai a pounded and slammed Natadha about Tina looked around and saw that perhaps Alaina wasn't the only one trying to get their hands on Natasha tonight....
