Mid-Interview with Danielle Degardin

Then it was settled. Danielle nodded to Ruby with a smile growing ever wider across her face. She was going to prove once and for all that she was nobody to mess with, and she only hoped that her inevitable victory over the girl was going to send a message to anyone else with such foolish desires. All that was left was to have things booked - which Ruby didn't know much about. Of course she didn't, Danielle thought. Challenging her to a match without even knowing how to? Such stupidity was only to be expected.

"Oh, don't worry," Danielle said. "I have my connections with the booking office, I'll make sure it happens. After all, they'll be far more likely to listen to a face as gorgeous as mine." With a smirk at her own lowkey insult, Danielle gave Ruby one last show of disrespect as she flicked a finger right into the center of the girl's forehead. "Now, will you run along and let the adults handle business unharassed, s'il vous plaît?"

Ruby thinking about the entire situation was confused. She came into a room only because of her curiosity. Something Ruby cursed now, for some reason she just had to see the people and wanted to know what was the commotion. Now she was in a match with Danielle Degardin. The match itself did not worry Ruby but it was the fact that she was going to be making headlines. Ruby was not one to live or even like the spotlight. Danielle seemed like the type of person who brought a lot of attention.

That was when Danielle began to talk some smack. The first insult went over Ruby's head that was when she flicked Ruby's head telling her to shoo basically. You sure do have a big bark. But-but-but I doubt you can back that up when I beat you Ruby said, knowing full well trash talking was not her strong suit.

Thinking that the conversation had been well resolved, Danielle smirked to herself, confidently grinning and folding her arms as she turned back towards the people gathered nearby. She thought she had gotten the last word in - but, unfortunately, she wasn't allowed that solace, as Ruby still snapped back at her! Even if Dani was quite well assured of her inevitable victory...the thought of anyone, let alone this irksome little imp, actually defeating her was an insult she could not stand to tolerate.

Crossing her arms, Danielle spun back around, leaning down to lock eyes with Ruby as she showed her a withering glare. She refused to let herself be talked down to by someone a fraction of her size, and without even the conviction in her voice to make the ex-model believe she could be a threat. "Now, listen here, you...you insect!" she snapped, her voice raising as her temper slipped away from her. "If you don't get away from me RIGHT this second, I won't need a match scheduled to-"

It was at that point that the press interjected, with one reporter clearing his throat as Dani was in the middle of her rant. "Miss Degardin...we do have an interview we were conducting..."

Danielle paused for a moment, looking back at Ruby with ire, but still straightened herself, dusting off her vest and turning back towards the crowd. She let out a breath, and it was as if nothing had even gone awry, even if some odd looks and murmurs were going on amongst the gathered reporters. "Ah, yes. I do apologize for that, gentlemen...let us not let some people interfere with us any longer, no?" She looked back towards Ruby one last time with fiery eyes, making the sentiment quite clear. Ruby would have to get away if she knew what was best for her.
