Until Death Do Us Part

Jessica was fuming. After the disaster match with Lilliana, she had strung together a few victories before she ran into Kate. She hated losing to anyone, at any time, in any situation, but there was something particularly odious about losing to a rookie in their first ever match in the fed. Despite her youth, Jessica considered herself a pro, given how much ring time she had and how hard she worked out of the ring. But even with all that, not only did she lose against Kate, she had gotten herself knocked out. Her dad had told her to rewatch her matches so that she could learn from her mistakes, but when she watched that part, she found herself in a fuming, burning rage.

So Jessica decided to use that rage for good. She worked something out with her manager, and gave the signal to the worker bees. They picked the coffin up and started walking it down to ringside. Jessica adjusted her top. She was wearing her black top and her bottoms, her wrestling outfit. Because after what she was about to do, she was going to have to be ready for war.

Little sister there's blood on the tracks...

Jessica had not made as much of a name for herself as she would have liked, but still, she was doing pretty well as evinced by how the crowd reacted. Some of them were not particularly impressed by her heel tactics, and booed. But some crazies in the audience appreciated her doing anything it took to win, and cheered. Jessica flipped them off, thinking that would both piss people off and make them happy in turn. There was a mic in her hand and fire in her heart as she confidently strode down to the ring.

She slipped under the bottom rope, and moved to the center. "Ladies and gentlemen. Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated." Jessica paused for a second. "But that doesn't mean that we can't right a few wrongs out here. Namely, that some of you think that I am not the biggest, baddest bitch that this federation has ever seen. So tonight, we're going to do something special. I am going to throw a bitch in a coffin, and you guys are going to see a tremendous amount of violence. We are going to call that a win-win, aren't we?" Jessica gestured wide with both arms.

"But which bitch is getting thrown into this coffin, you ask yourself? Who, of all the women in this federation deserves such a terrible end to their evening?" Jessica let the question hang in the air for a bit.

"None other than Kate Conners! Come on down, you fucking Aussie bitch, you're the lucky winner of the ass-beating of a fucking lifetime!"

It had been a relatively quiet night backstage for many a wrestler, but none so much as Kate Conners, the masked luchadora who sat and observed the proceedings tonight, a wry smile on her face as she watched matches and promos alike. The coyote had been embroiled herself in recent proceedings during LAW shows, but tonight was a night that the masked wrestler was all ready to sit back and just be a spectator, as she was looking forwards to a little relaxation among other things.

What she didn't realize is how badly that plan was going to be messed up in mere moments.

Kate had been running her own commentary on most of the events so far, but as that coffin was carried out... and Jessica made her entrance right behind it, Kate couldn't help but perk up a little bit. The woman who she had KO'd in her debut match was making her way out, and making her way out next to a coffin. Intrigue was high, and Kate had her eyes on the screen.

"If it ain't my little jobber... wonder what she wants this time..." Kate snickered to herself, as Jessica now finally got into the ring, raising her microphone up to her lips and began to speak!

Kate was all smiles as she listened, but slowly, that smile faded. It became clear that Jessica was in the middle of calling someone out, and the coyote had a bad feeling about it. And sure enough, when it came time to name the target of her ire tonight, Jessica would proudly and boldly call out none other than the observing coyote.

In what seemed like only a second, Kate was already at gorilla position, and without breaking her stride, the coyote would snatch a microphone from a nearby worker and continue out through the curtain and onto the ramp, answering Jessica's call!

"Alright, joke's over! Very funny Jessica, but actually, this is a wrestling promotion, not a comedy club. So if you could, please take your stand up act and fuck off." Kate responded immediately, already annoyed at having been summoned by her former foe, glaring down the ramp at Jessica as she responded!

Jessica waited for what felt like a long time. Being up in the ring by yourself meant that every single set of eyes in the audience was on you, and that was a very lonesome place to be. Jessica had grown up in the ring, and had acclimated to it. But she felt the temperature rising. She had lost to Kate, after all, and been knocked out in the process. She realized that worse things could have happened to her when she was knocked out, as had happened to her with Lilliana, but that was still not a great place to be. The seconds ticked by, and Jessica waited. It must have been the lights far above her that caused her to sweat.

But sure enough, Kate appeared. The little Aussie girl took the bait, and Jessica could not help but smile. That grin faded in a second as a look of seriousness reappeared on her face. It was go time.

"Tell you what. I know you're fucking scared, because I know that you know that you got fucking lucky. So if you aren't afraid to press your luck, you are going to come down here and then get smacked around until I see fit to throw you into that casket." The Violent Violet pointed at the coffin for emphasis. "And everything in between this and that is not exactly going to be pretty, I fucking assure you." Jessica made a throat slashing gesture to emphasize her point.

"So just to be clear and get it through your thick fucking skull. You. Me. Coffin match. And it sure as hell is not going to be me in that coffin." Jessica held the microphone down at her waist. It was time to see exactly how far she could take tonight.

With Kate sent angrily marching out onto the ramp, it would appear that Jessica's callout had done everything that it was supposed to and then some, the coyote stomping out to confront the woman whom she had defeated a while ago in her debut match! Kate brandished a microphone, and after her initial response to Jessica's callout, she would once again be confronted by Jessica's harsh words to her, calling the coyote to take her on in a casket match, putting the coyote in between a rock and a hard place!

On one hand, Kate felt no need to face Jessica again, finding the idea of being forced into a rematch quite annoying. But on the other, if she didn't accept, people would talk. Talk about her, and her win, and whether or not it was a fluke victory over one of LAW's elite. And so...

"I hear an awful lot of whinin from someone who I beat already. Sour grapes sure don't make you look like more of a warrior Jessica." Kate said, digging at the purple haired woman, knowing how much Jessica prided herself in her badass demeanor. "But, if you really insist that I knock you out AGAIN and dump you in a casket, right next to where your career currently is heading, then I suppose I'll have to take you up on that." Kate said with a snicker, tossing her mic aside and beginning to make her way down the ramp, an impromptu match getting ready to take place here and now!

And onwards came Kate, taking Jessica's threats and warnings and demand for a match seriously, which Jessica smiled at sickeningly. Here it was, a chance at redemption. She knew that if she ended up in the casket, Kate's premonition that her career would go down in the casket would surely ring to. But Jessica was going to do everything in her power to ensure that would not come to pass. And given the bag of tricks that she could call upon, Jessica was confident that her arsenal would be enough to carry the day this time.

"Then fucking bring it." Those were her last words before she tossed the microphone over to the side. The horrible screeching noise that filled the arena did not phase the Violent Violet, and she waited for the match to start off officially.

It would only take until Kate found her way into the ring. Then the bell would go off, and she could begin clawing her way back to the upper echelon of LAW. She crouched into her wrestling stance to make herself ready.
