After the dropkick landed on her back, Mizuki was quite literally at the end of her ropes. Metaphorically, she was still far away from being taken out, but if her opponent just kept tossing her around with one move after another, it would be just a matter of time before this becomes true metaphorically as well.
The big girl didn't even have much time to recover before Misaki's legs flashed before her eyes and the next thing she knew was the feeling of boots in her abs as Misaki kicked her in between middle and top ropes. Oof! This forced the athlete a few steps back towards the center of the ring, but she stayed on her feet. She was a tough girl after all, especially her body. Soon Mizuki would assume some kind of a fighting stance with her palms open, prepared for grappling, mostly. I won't go down so easily, senpai!

Re: Misaki Toyoda vs. Captain Mizuki - The Ace vs. The Olympian
Diana had kept herself silent thus far; she was not the sort to scream out commands upon every interaction between her student and opponent. Even if said student was one who had put herself under Diana's control. But when things began to turn rather poorly indeed for Mizuki, with only her will carrying her forward, Diana opted to finally speak.
Leaning her frame forward as to rest it on the ring apron, Diana put a hand to her mouth, as if to bellow her voice!
"Clinch her! She's just going to out pace and out think you otherwise! Work some slower holds!"

Re: Misaki Toyoda vs. Captain Mizuki - The Ace vs. The Olympian
Right after performing the tiger feint kick, Misaki would get herself back onto the mat, standing on her feet as she looked at Mizuki, who managed to keep herself on her feet despite taking her blows earlier. She gave the bigger woman an impressed smile, telling her that she wanted to see more from her after this. After hearing what Diana was saying from outside, Misaki would focus on Mizuki, closing in as she looked straight into her eyes.
"I know. That's why I'm not holding back..." Misaki said as she would stand in front of Mizuki, getting into a stance. It seemed that she was preparing to lock up with the former Olympian again, and the look on her face seemed to indicate that she was planning something. Misaki was planning to use her own much smaller frame against her opponent's more strapping figure. "Come on, Mizuki. Show me what you're capable of..." she urged, as if telling the bigger girl to make the first move.

Re: Misaki Toyoda vs. Captain Mizuki - The Ace vs. The Olympian
Mizuki stood there, watching the ace quickly jump up to her feet. Coach Diana clearly wasn't happy with Mizuki's performance and the girl was a bit embarrassed for being a punching bag the entire time she was in the ring. The cap heard Diana's advice and agreed in her mind that this was the best course of action, otherwise Misaki-san would just continue making a fool out of her.
It was pretty obvious that Misaki wasn't going to let Mizuki to just grab her, so she had to turn to her experience and deduce what would and what wouldn't work. If she charged straight in like at the start of the match, Mizuki saw herself flying over the ropes with Misaki's help. Try to punch? She was pretty bad at striking, she would just leave herself open. One thing was for certain - Mizuki had to approach her opponent slowly at first.
Mizuki would set herself in a wide grappling stance and slowly move closer in by inch, carefully watching the ace. If Misaki avoided Mizuki with a quick movement, then she would immediately dash after her. If Misaki tried to strike her, then Mizuki would try to catch the limb before or after it struck her. If Misaki did not move and stood where she was, then after closing in to arms reach, Mizuki would try to grab onto the senpai.
Mizuki wasn't aiming to grab onto anything specific, actually it would be way too optimistic to think that she could limit herself like that. She would just try to grab onto anything and work from there.

Re: Misaki Toyoda vs. Captain Mizuki - The Ace vs. The Olympian
Misaki would carefully watch the Olympian, trying to deduce her movements and her next actions. When she saw Mizuki slowly closing in, Misaki decided to stay on the spot, preparing herself for the eventual clash between the two of them. Then, she saw Mizuki reaching out to her, trying to grab her. The Olympian managed to grab her by her shoulder, and Misaki would try to react by grabbing Mizuki by her arm before leaping up, looking to wrap her arms around said arm.
Hoping that the gravity would take over so that she could bring Mizuki with her, she would try to keep her hold on the Olympian's arm, hyperextending said arm in a cross armbar. Her landing back onto the mat would no doubt be painful, but it would surely worth the risk as she would try to subject her opponent into the submission hold.

Re: Misaki Toyoda vs. Captain Mizuki - The Ace vs. The Olympian
The tactic partially worked. Mizuki managed to get a hold of Misaki's shoulder, but then Misaki got a hold of her arm. At that moment Mizuki wasn't sure what was going to happen, so she wasn't sure how to react. So, she just stood strong as Misaki tried to drag her down to the mat using her body weight and pull Mizuki's arm with it, locking it in an armbar. Nngh! Mizuki groaned, but she stood on her feet, despite Misaki having her locked in what was some kind of a vertical armbar, but the rookie refused to go down. Not going to make this easy for you, I can bench press that much with one arm! Aarrrghh! Mizuki struggled against it. She didn't have a move on her mind, but she just spread her feet a bit more, and bent her knees a little, trying her best to stay on her feet and apply a force with her arm, opposite to Misaki's efforts to try and power out of it.

Re: Misaki Toyoda vs. Captain Mizuki - The Ace vs. The Olympian
When Misaki put Mizuki into the cross armbar, she thought that she could bring her down with gravity, but much to her surprise, the Olympian managed to stand her ground, keeping her feet on the mat, preventing herself from being taken down by the Ace. Seeing the sheer endurance Mizuki had just displayed to her, Misaki spent a few seconds looking at her opponent in shock before she shook her head, trying to get her focus back so that she could try something else instead.
Still, Misaki would keep holding onto Mizuki's arm, hoping to at least weaken said arm even though she failed to bring her down onto the mat. The Ace was in a rather precarious position at the moment due to the fact that her feet weren't on the mat, but she needed to keep applying pressure in the hold to make sure that she could keep her opponent under pressure.

Re: Misaki Toyoda vs. Captain Mizuki - The Ace vs. The Olympian
Mizuki managed to keep herself standing and keep her arm from being bent in the wrong direction, but she couldn't exactly flex it back up as Misaki was applying force into opposite directions, meaning that the ace's legs were pushing against Mizuki's upper frame, while the rest of her body was pulling and hanging onto the rookie's arm.
While Mizuki was strong enough to prevent Misaki from overpowering her... Unfortunately, Mizuki wasn't strong enough to overpower Misaki in this predicament either... Soon, Mizuki came up with an idea. Maybe it wasn't a very professional idea, but it was an idea nonetheless... Mizuki would start rotating herself clockwise, taking the ace for the ride as well. She would try to accelerate more and more as she went.

Re: Misaki Toyoda vs. Captain Mizuki - The Ace vs. The Olympian
Misaki was still hanging onto Mizuki's arm as she would continue applying pressure into said arm before the Olympian decided to start rotating around, bringing Misaki with her. She would try to cling onto her, but when the bigger woman started picking up her pace and accelerate, Misaki couldn't help but feel the effect.
Eventually, Misaki had no other choice but to let go of Mizuki's arm, but it would result in her falling off from her arm. She would try to make sure that she landed onto her back, with her chin tucked in to lessen damage. She felt a little dizzy from the rotation, which might spell trouble to her. Though she was certain that the rotation might have affected Mizuki as well.

Re: Misaki Toyoda vs. Captain Mizuki - The Ace vs. The Olympian
Round and round they went and eventually, Misaki let go of her arm, which was a relief for the rookie. Mizuki saw her opponent lay on the mat and saw this as an opportunity to finally get a hold of the ace, but she was too dizzy to walk straight from all the spinning, so she leaned back against the ropes for a moment until her world wouldn't be shaky anymore.
After getting her bearings back, Mizuki would slowly approach her veteran opponent.
