Dana's Difficulties, the Struggles of a Streamer's Assistant

Unread post by KaylieKO »

The job was never done. Dana as Kaylie's assistant/manager did just about everything for Kaylie. Aside from the few posts Kaylie made herself, which were mostly just selfies, it was Dana's job to post for her. Promote her content across several online platforms. Answer fan questions. Do equipment checks for her streams. Stock up on snacks and energy drinks for Kaylie for nights when they worked late (technically the snacks and drinks were for them both, but Dana didn't really like sugary snacks nor did she like energy drinks, but they were practically essential on Kaylie's "working late snack list"). She also did research for Kaylie to make sure she was staying up to date on trends and what her fans wanted to see. And just in general ran errands for her and did whatever Kaylie needed (or wanted) her to do.

Dana didn't mind all the work though! She likes working. And she likes Kaylie. So put the two together, and Dana was happy. Right now she was heading to the haven to meet with a woman named Kieda. She had a considerable following online, and a collaboration between her and Kaylie could be quite beneficial. Kaylie to her fans was still more of an internet celebrity than a Pro-Wrestler that's a celebrity on the internet. That's why Dana got the idea that her being seen with other Pro-Wrestlers that are popular online would legitimize Kaylie's new career choice. Dana got to the front of the haven and waited for Kieda. She reached out to Kieda beforehand and asked to meet her here. Even though Kaylie was much better than her at talking with other people, Dana set it up to meet with Kieda herself because of some schedule conflict with Kaylie. It was also because some people found Kaylie to be a bit... abrasive at times. So Dana thought it was just for the best that she meet Kieda first before Kieda met Kaylie.

*With a flip of her turquoise bouffant and a purse of her majestic lips, the stunning shinobi was finally ready to emerge from her personal quarters. Given her tremendous social media influence, both through her prolific wrestling career and unmatched fashion sense, she had been in high demand from various social outlets all across the internet. However, one name stuck out like a spoiled, pink thumb- Kaylie. She had become quite infamous around The Gem's Haven as of recent, with her unexpected victory over the one and only Riverboat Rabbit, Gambit. The icing on the humiliation cake was the purloining of her headband, which personally struck a cord with the fabulous kunoichi. Regardless, Kieda's interest had been piqued, and she couldn't let a chance at getting up close and personal with someone who had such a close bond with the bratty blonde.*

"Hmhm, it's time to make my dazzling appearance. Then again, any appearance I make is, of course, dazzling~" *Casually strolling down the spiral staircase, as if she had absolutely no where to be, Kieda glanced towards the outer threshold of The Haven to spot a curious pedestrian.* "Ah, that must be Dana." *Kieda muttered to herself. Without another word, she promptly cartwheeled towards the doors, putting her astonishing athleticism on display before stopping centimeters from them, nonchalantly opening the door for her quizzical guest.*

"Well now, what an intriguing specimen you are~" *Kieda's ever-present, flirtatious cadence addressed the stranger before her.* "Might you be Dana, the woman who so graciously asked for an interview? If so, it's a delight to make your acquaintance." *Kieda extended her hand forward, gesturing for her to enter.* "Please, please, do come in. My home is your home~"

Dana waited for Kieda, and was starting to wonder when she'd show up. She was about to double check her phone to see if she had the time right on when they were supposed to meet. Before she did though, a woman cartwheeled and stopped right in front of her face. Dana couldn't help but blush, and when Kieda started to talk and flirt with her, her blush only got more intense.

"Uh, hi, yes, I, I am Dana. But uh, it was uh, uh," She thought about correcting Kieda and telling her that it was less of an interview, and more like a meeting to discuss a possible collaboration between her and Kaylie. That felt like it'd be rude though, so she didn't say anything, "And you're Kieda. I mean, uh, I mean, you knew that of course. I mean, uh."

Dana was trying to talk normally, but between her and Kaylie, she wasn't the one that did the talking. She was the one behind the camera. And the more she talked now the deeper her blush got. To save herself from any further embarrassment, she cut herself off and took Kieda's offer to go inside.

*Realizing that Dana was struggling to formulate even the most basic of sentences, Kieda glanced over her shoulder and made direct eye contact with her new guest.* "Oh, there's absolutely no need to stammer on account of me. We are on equal terms, you and I, so just take your time and get yourself adjusted." *As they both reached the center of the colossal domicile, Kieda decided to dash towards the kitchen and retrieve a fresh cup of orange juice, complete with a few floating cubes of ice to keep it cold*

"Here, you seem parched. Please, don't leave a drop left~" *She reached out and offered the refreshing beverage towards the anxious Dana, before finally resting her posterior against a cushiony seat, casually crossing her legs while she prepared for the impending conversation.* "Please, take a moment and drink it all in...play on words intended." *She giggled, stretching her arms across the massive couch.*

"Feel free to toss any question that pops into that precious mind of yours, Dana." *Kieda shot her a casual wink, keeping her eyes focused in on Dana's body language.* "This is a completely open interview, and I perceive you as an honored guest." *Her voice rang out with a jubilant tone, all the while continuing to admire Dana's quietly supple figure.*

Dana blushed over the treatment she was getting. Working as an assistant meant that she didn't get this kind of treatment often. In fact, Dana hardly ever got pampered. She sipped at the juice and gave a little, "thank you," to Kieda. It was also nice that Kieda didn't immediately offer soda. Most of the time soda was offered first when she was offered a drink. Soda's fine! It's just that Dana doesn't really sugary things. So being offered something else really made her acknowledged. Dana realized she might be overthinking the juice too much, and shook her head to get back into the moment.

"So let's just start off with some simple questions." Dana said, feeling a little bit more at ease now, "What is your-" Dana's text alert went off. Normally she wouldn't check her phone in the middle of a meeting, but Kaylie was normally at these meetings. So if she was getting a text now, it probably meant that it was from Kaylie.

"Sorry, I just gotta, uhm... yeah..." She said, sending Kaylie a text back, "Anyway, I wanted to uhm, to ask you about, about your p-process. How you, you go about, uhm, making content for your, your fans." Her typical stutter came back in full force. Her text alert went off again, another text from Kaylie. Dana responded to it real quickly before Kieda answered her question.

*While being world renowned for her eye for fashion and all things marvelous, Kieda was also both feared and revered for her perceptiveness. The instant Dana's stuttering kicked in, she narrowed her piercing gaze and furrowed her eyebrows, curious as to what the source of her anxiety truly was.* "Wait wait wait, I'm so sorry about the abrupt stoppage, but why is your voice trembling?" *Her quizzical voice reverberated with a genuine concern for the seemingly intimidated woman.*

"Listen"*Kieda started, leaning in close while maintaing full eye contact.* "Whoever that is, she's not the individual you're interviewing. I'm certain that if you just inform her of your current situation, she'll understand." *The Cerulean Shadow nodded with a delightful grin to reassure Dana.* "Plus, I consider you worthy of my undivided attention, so isn't it fair that I get yours as well?" *She shot her eyebrows up simultaneously, revealing a slightly snide visage.*

"Now, to answer your question, I always love to listen to any and all feedback they have for me. I believe that public input is paramount for making yourself both a better person and a respected client to work with." *Kieda responded in a professional manner, all the while continuing to visually admire Dana's gorgeous physique.* "Now, how about I toss a question your way~" *She smirked, clueing Dana in on the type of interview she was in for.* "What are your measurements? You must at least be a C cup. Oh, and if you had a favorite color on the spectrum, what type would it be? Mine is, obviously, Cerulean~"

Dana's eyes snapped up when Kieda asked her about her the texts. Dana was being so rude, and she felt so embarrassed about it. She locked her phone right away, and tried to explain the situation to Kieda.

"I-I'm sorry. It's, it's my boss. She uh. she just likes it when I'm uh, punctual." She smiled a little bit. "But of course I respect you! I'll just, uhm, yeah, sorry." Dana said as she turned her phone on silent and put it away in her purse.

Kieda surprised Dana though. The answer she gave was a very sweet answer. It reminded her of the passion Kaylie puts into her own content. And that was one of the things that drew Dana to her in the first place. But then Kieda asked questions about her. She wasn't used to attention. Normally, she stayed behind the camera. If she were being honest she wasn't entirely sure how she felt about it, but looking at Kieda, it felt kind of nice. The questions she asked made her blush. But she responded, while crossing her arms over her chest.

"I-I uh. I'm actually, actually uhm. I'm a... D cup..." The next question she was able to answer much more confidently. "My favorite color though would have to be either a forest green or teal." She smiled.

Meanwhile, Kaylie noticed that Dana wasn't responding as fast as she normally does.

"Thank you, dear~" *Kieda's lilac eyes flickered in Dana's direction, as both began establishing a stable rapport with one another. However, her ears instantly perked up at the response she gave regarding her bra size, as a delicate blush crossed her cheeks.*

"Oh my, you're doing a marvelous job of concealing them from me. I'll need to anticipate that in case I ever have the pleasure of tussling with you~"
*The intrigued assassin pondered for a moment before responding.*

"Both are such sublime hues! They allow the wearer a myriad of secondary colors to accentuate it, while offering a plethora of styles to couple it with!" *The azure shadow giddily answered, clasping her hands together to augment her already cheerful mood.*

*As time continued to march on, their unwavering banter led them deep into the evening hours, as miscellaneous chatter filled the halls of The otherwise slumbering Gem's Haven.*

The attention Kieda gave Dana made her feel all nice. She did change the topic from her bra size as soon as she could, but other than that Kieda was pleasant company to have. She tried to keep the conversation mostly on business, not forgetting the whole point of this visit in the first place. But Kieda had a way of turning the conversation towards casual topics. And Dana had a way of not really minding nor stopping Kieda when she did. It really felt like Kieda wanted to get to know her better. It gave Dana a warm feeling inside.

That's when their was a knock at the door. It was Kaylie.

Kaylie didn't really care to show up to this meeting in the first place. She was busy a lot of the time, so she figured she'd just leave it to Dana. But soon after Dana left for the meeting she stopped responding to Kaylie's texts. That was weird. Dana always responded. So Kaylie decided to drop the other stuff she was working on, and show up to the meeting she was supposed to be at in the first place.

*As the pair of women continued to bond more and more over miscellaneous topics, learning one another's hobbies and that sort of ilk, Kieda was suddenly yanked from the sentimental moment by a curt knock at the threshold of the gym. It didn't take long for the Fashion Assassin to piece together who it could possibly be at this late hour, and within a heartbeat, she was racing over to greet the unwanted presence in her own, snarky way.*

*Tugging the handle backwards, Kieda was admittedly surprised at the natural beauty that emanated from the obviously agitated blonde, but she would preserve her opinion fora more opportune time.* "Welcome, welcome. You must be Dana's boss, and might I just say, she is an absolute delight to be around." *She remarked, trying to abait her anger before it escalated.*
