Kayla Grant vs. Thunder Ryuko

Kayla's hand shot up to her face, rubbing at her nose as she tried to dull the soreness that was currently preventing her from fully feeling where her nose was. Ryuko could definitely hit hard - she was starting to realize just why this woman had the reputation she did. She glared back at Ryuko, parting her fingers just enough to peek out from behind them...and consequently, opening her field of vision just enough to see the boot coming crashing into her face!

Her hand forced back into her own face, Kayla dropped back onto the mat with a groan. She had gotten cocky, and now she was paying for that mistake.

Ryuko saw Kayla hit the mat and she smirked a bit, circling around before pulling Kayla up by the hair! "This is why the wrestling ring truly belongs to Japanese women. We just take to it better than anyone in the world!" Ryuko proclaimed as she wrapped an arm around Kaylas head, reaching with her other hand to grab the waist of her briefs. Ryuko bent her legs before lifting Kayla straight up, trying to bring her up for a ring shaking vertical suplex! Ryuko was trying to hammer into Kayla as hard as she could, and the more impact her offense had the better!

Kayla may have been floored, but she wasn't allowed to be down for long before Ryuko took a fistful of her hair, dragging her back up to her feet before she had fully regained the legs to stand on. She hissed through clenched teeth and shot an angered glare over at her opponent, reaching up to pull at the wrist attached to the hand tangled in her hair. "Let go-!" she growled. Ryuko's words were really grating on her - Kayla was determined to be the best, and she wasn't going to let her nationality determine that! She would prove herself capable one way or another! That was the spirit that fueled her now, as she started to regain her bearings with rapid speed!

Unfortunately, that spirit wasn't going to prevent her from being hoisted up further as Ryuko suspended her in midair. Kayla gasped as she was suddenly staring at the ground. She knew exactly what was to follow - and it wouldn't be good! Before she knew it she was plummeting back through the air, landing with a loud thud as she came crashing back into the ring!

"Yeah! That is how it is done!" Ryuko shouted after Kayla hit the mat hard. She stood up and stomped down on Kayla's abdomen! Ryuko kept on stomping over and over before jumping up to land an elbow drop across Kayla's chest to try to keep hammering away at the torso of the Californian woman! Ryuko was determined to try to literally break Kayla in half tonight. The thunder empress was pushing hard, pressing forward as she tried to be as unrelenting as possible against Kayla to show her what an elite wrestler was capable of!

Kayla was left winded by her impact with the mat, but her troubles were only beginning. She groaned, looking up from where she lay, to see Ryuko standing over her - and landing a sharp blow right into her unprotected stomach, causing her to buck upwards with a cry of pain! Then came another and another, with a ferocity that even those in the crowd had to wince at. Kayla was starting to grow more and more sore with each hit landed, and a bruise was forming across her midsection. And if that wasn't enough, Ryuko landed on her once again by throwing herself down with an elbow drop!

Again, Kayla was shaken from such a landing, as she wheezed and gagged. But above all, this treatment was only steeling in her the determination to fight back, to do something about her predicament! Letting out a growl, she went to kick her leg up to try and strike Ryuko in the side with her knee. She refused to let her get away with the satisfaction of keeping her down!

"Ooomph!" Ryuko groaned as Kayla's defiant knee strike landed unexpectedly! "You damn brat..." Ryuko growled as she got up, rubbing her side with one hand while reaching down to grab Kayla by the arm. Ryuko wanted to yank Kayla back up to her feet, twisting her torso as she looked to Irish whip Kayla over towards the nearby ropes! Ryuko would give chase and leap into the air, trying to leap as Kayla bounced back hoping to connect with a flying forearm smash to the chest!

A satisfied smile came to Kayla's face now, having managed to score a knee strike against Ryuko's defenses even when the Wrestle Angel seemed to have the advantage. But Ryuko would only be emboldened to now go even harder on the newcomer, as she held tightly to Kayla's arm in order to drag her to her feet. Kayla winced, clenching her teeth as she was forced back up. She moved in with her free arm to push at her opponent, trying to offset the force with which she pushed at her, but Ryuko would soon overpower her nonetheless, and with the edge she attained, she sent Kayla clear across the ring!

She headed straight for the ropes, her body rebounding off of them before she sailed back towards Ryuko. Soon after she was met with a flying forearm courtesy of her lunging foe, as she was smacked hard upside her chest, letting out a cry of pain as she was taken down once again, beneath Ryuko's body.

Ryuko stood over Kayla smirking as she shook her head. "Come on, is this the best the US can offer in the ring? I swear I thought there was more to you based on your big words!" Ryuko said before bending down to grab Kayla by the hair. Ryuko was making her way towards the ropes dragging Kayla with her. The thunder empress was going to attempt to toss Kayla by the hair clear over the ropes to the outside, hoping that the big landing would cause the Californian competitor some pain!

The pain in Kayla's chest was still fresh as she crashed into the ground, but it didn't hold her back from glaring up at Ryuko with clenched teeth, her eyes staring daggers in response to her continued taunts. "You haven't...seen anything yet..." she groaned, but she still didn't have the strength to get back up - and Ryuko took advantage, grabbing her by the hair to drag her away with a hiss. In desperation, Kayla tried to reach up and claw at Ryuko's wrist, hoping to get her to let go - but with a swing of Ryuko's arm, she went catapulting right out of the ring, over the top ropes and rolling onto the unforgiving floor below!

"One-!" the ref girl began to count, as Kayla winced from the rough landing.

"Hmph, you are right I have seen absolutely nothing from you." Ryuko said as she watched Kayla land hard on the outside. Ryuko waited a moment before running to the opposite side of the ring before bouncing off the ropes.

Ryuko was building up speed before trying to baseball slide underneath the ropes hoping to smash her feet right into the head of Kayla! Ryuko was out to hammer her, and the outside of the ring offered numerous ways to do so!
