Layla Colt vs Erika Adelheid Becker

Leaning forward after the kick to her stomach, Layla knew she was vulnerable but there was nothing she could do as Erika swiftly pressed her advantage. An arm wrapped around her neck, locking her in place and her own arm was draped over Erika's shoulder. An instant later she felt the grip on her tight wrestling shorts and then she was heaved into the air...

"Agghhh!" Layla cried as she was slammed into the mat by the swift suplex, far too fast for her to react to counter it. Her back crashed into the canvas and as Erika released her hold, her back arched in pain. She gritted her teeth with a moan, eyes screwed shut and one hand flying to her now-aching lower back.

With a gasp Layla slumped to the mat, shaking her head to try and clear it, knowing she was in trouble now. The German wrestler had completely taken control of the match. Summoning what strength she had, she tried to roll onto her front and push herself onto her knees, trying to face her opponent and get her hands into position to at least attempt to counter whatever assault came next.

Erika knew that she needed to capitalize quickly on her suplex. Everything had been going so well on this match so far, she couldn't dare to give herself the chance to let this advantage slip through her fingers. And so, right after her back hit the mat and Erika heard Layla's cry of pain from having her back hit the mat much harder than Erika's did, she knew it was nigh time for her to continue her offense. Getting to her knees as she turned to face her opponent, she noticed that she was also making her way up, even if slowly. "No time to waste." She muttered to herself, before getting to her feet and going towards her opponent.

Once she got closer, she observed Layla for a moment. She had managed to get to her knees and had her hands up, so a strike wasn't going to be as effective as before, given that now she could defend herself better. So, instead of trying to go for a knee, which would be a good idea against someone on their knees in most situations, Erika approached, before pushing Layla back with her arms, trying to get her to fall back into the mat. If that worked, she would quickly rush forward, before one of her arms would go and hook one of Layla's legs, the rest of the german's body going and laying on top of her opponent, going for a single leg pin!

Layla saw Erika advancing on her, intent on knocking the Canadian brawler to the ground. She braced herself, waiting for the last second to react and counter Erika's attack. She needed to halt the other wrestler's momentum now before things got out of hand.

Just as her opponent's hands were about to strike her and knock her backwards, Layla ducked even lower and then surged forward, attempting to get under Erika's guard and wrap her arms around the German wrestler's thighs. If she succeeded, she would try to power back to her feet with a yell of exertion, lifting her opponent in the process before driving her down into the mat in a double leg slam!

Erika let out a gasp of surprise as her push was promptly dodged. And she would not have the time to contemplate on what to do next since her opponent was as quick to pick up the offense as she was at dodging strikes. Once she noticed that both of her legs were grabbed, she would try to strike down at Layla with a downward elbow strike to try and free herself. However, the sudden lift provided by Layla as she stood up completely threw Erika off, making her strike miss its mark, barely making contact to much dismay by Erika's part.

She struggled to try and free herself but didn't manage to do so before being brought down hard into the mat, landing on her back with a loud thud. Gaaah! Darn!" She groaned as arched her back from the pain, closing her eyes and gritting her teeth as she tried to shake the pain away, slowly recovering but still being open to further punishment by her opponent.

A sense or relief surged through Layla as she managed to turn the momentum of the match, successfully slamming Erika against the canvas and buying herself a window of opportunity.

Quickly disentangling herself and rolling away, Layla leaped to her feet and raced across the ring, hitting the far ropes before being propelled back towards Erika, hoping to land another move before her opponent could recover.

With a whoop, the Canadian brawler threw herself into a forward flip, attempting to bring a punishing leg-drop down squarely against Erika's chest!
