Vivi and the Enforcer (For Devilish)

Not providing any chance to let her get away the march continued. Korra would push and attempt to get her on the ropes while keeping there arms locked against each other so Vivi couldn’t use them to turn the situation around. It worked like a charm and soon she was pressing her foe into the ropes. It took some will to suppress her desire to smile since she was sure any smile of hers would give away her real intent but was super easy to do instead was to let Vivi’s arms go and hold her against the ropes before she put enough space between them to drive a shoulder into her chest. “Giess the early going of this match goes to me!” Korra boasted before proceeding to smack her in the chest once again and then pull away more to throw a punch to the women’s face.

Against the ropes, all Viviana could really do was brace her feet in case her impromptu sparring partner opted to try for something of a judo flip, and perhaps to less effect, snarl. Annoyed she had lost the opener as it were, Viviana tried for what she could to see instead if an opportunity presented itself in the following moments. Surely enough, it did.

Though not before she was near enough left breathless.

Gagging as that shoulder hit her midriff, Viviana's snarl only grew the more toothy as she soon felt Korra pull back, likely to deliver a painful intent. Not at all interested in being pained further, Viviana looked to strike her toned foe before she could even rear her arm back, as she shot a short range jab straight to her face!

Forcing Vivi towards the ropes and putting her in a position where Korra has a chance to really get her down she would proceed to be doing the worst of it all via throwing in a few more good hits towards her face. Though when she pulled away Viviana was starting to go in to a punch that caught the fighter on the cheek. Korra felt her head turning to the side from the hit and stepping back after the hit. Her guard was up as she slipped away watching her for for any follow ups while she felt a lingering sting to her jaw.

Viviana had driven that strike home to where it needed to be, and had this been a boxing or even kickboxing match, she might have sought to move to her side to open ground. This was only the first moment of the match, and there would have been no use in giving herself away to further strikes by running into them.

This being neither of those aforementioned matches however, Viviana threw caution to the wind as she pressed her back to the ropes. Seeking indeed to close in with her struggling foe, the tall Italian looked to get her arms around ideally those vulnerable ribs as she cut the distance, with her body shoving into her to complete what was now evidently a tackle.

Korra was stepping back still on guard when Vivi was ready to keep it going. Rushing into her with enough force to tackle most people she wrapped around her waist as Korra tried to grab around her waist as well trying to keep on her feet. The women’s power forced her to try and dig her feet into the mat to try and stay up from the tackle. Korra huffed before she tried to end the tackle, throw a punch to the side of the women to make her back off.

Viviana had the hips grappled easily enough, but the toned figure she was now wrapped around wasn't going down easy. With a hell of a grunt, Viviana would try to stifle that punch in her side through raw determination, though her eyes were forced to shut with how hard this woman could hit. And that was from an askew angle!

Too determined to stop now, Viviana extended a leg as she shoved again, transforming that tackle of her foe into a sweeping of her legs. Regardless of whether it paid off, she'd use the space not to pursue, but back away, with her hand rubbing down her side as she tried to run off the pain.

Korra was holding her ground attempting to break Vivi with some good hits and forcing her to to heel. The last part didn’t happen with Viviana attempting to stay up before bringing her leg in and kicking at Korra’s legs just as she was starting to push into her, taking her legs out from under her and bringing her to the mat. Korra was completely shocked by how easily she was knocked off her feet but her hands were up regardless ready to weather the storm of Vivi’a counterattack, but for some reason the counter attack never came. Korra was left alone while Vivi stayed back to recover and once Korra fully realized this she sat up and got to her feet watching her partner all the while. “Well, got me there but I’m not about to let that happen again.” Korra resumes her fighting stance. Pissed at how she got knocked down like that, a fighter needed to stay on her feet so something like a trip up getting her because she got too eager to hit her opponent was egg on her face.

Viviana didn't pursue, but Korra wasn't left to her own devices entirely. Soothing that ache as best she could, the moment her muscle bound opponent began to rise, the tall Italian would make her move, in quite a spectacular attempt. Seeking to somewhat leap over as Korra rose to her knees, Viviana looked to grab a hold of that firm waist from above as she barrelled over her.

Fully intending to complete a fluid rolling motion with Korra now in her arms, it seems the fact that this match was a sparring practice was somewhat lost on Viviana, as she seemingly looked for the win already.

With an attempt at a roll-up pin!

Korra was on the defensive for now. Her mind focused on preparing for what might come next and how to defend herself from it. Given her opponents background she was expecting some kind of running knee or kick to her head to rattle her. No such thing came, twice in roughly a minute she had been caught off guard by the way this women planned things out. Rather then a blunt attack she jumped past her and hooked her arms around her on her way around her, pulling her in for a surprise attack and keeping her trapped in a roll up that brought Korra to her back. “how the! Why the! Get your hands off me!” Korra demanded of Vivi kicking her legs to try and get out of the roll up that surprised her. Scrambling away once she broke free from it and turning towards the girl in question. A look on her face that conveyed the question she wanted to ask while her arms came up in another gesture that asked the same.

There was no way in hell Viviana was getting a pin with this sudden roll-up. Not unless those muscles on Korra were purely for show.

She had to try regardless though, both to test herself, and see how Korra would react. Every pinfall attempt had its benefit regardless of the fact she knew it was going to fail, as Korra had to power on through to burst out of it and shove the tall and quite heavy gal off her. When Korra did indeed burst free, Viviana didn't play around in trying again.

Rolling her figure along the ground, she'd come to a equal posture as Korra yet again, about a metre or two away from her. Smug grin to her face, as if to say...

"I got you."
