Jessica Wright vs. Kate Conners (D)

Jessica was leaning in now. Her pretty features were darkened due to the fact that her hair was hanging low on either side of her face. She put one hand on her hip. The Violent Violet wondered what Kate was thinking with the foot against the throat and Jessica looming over her. There was a smile on her face. She put in those hours at the gym just so she would never be in a situation like this, and the look on her face turned to one of haughty arrogance.

She didn't know what mistake she had made, but she thought that Kate was just bluffing. That was until something coming awfully hard and awfully fast slammed into the sign of her leg. Jessica buckled immediately, falling over to the side. Luckily, she was able to catch herself before she fell face first into the mat.

She rolled away and popped up a few feet away from Kate. "Should have fucking tapped the boot," she hissed.

Whipping her leg out with as much speed and force as she could muster, Kate would throw a wicked kick to the ankle of Jessica, toppling the Violent Violet to the canvas and saving herself from being choked out by Jessica's foot pressed up against her throat in the corner! There was a brief moment where both women would take a second to recover, Jessica rolling a small distance away before popping back up to her feet, and Kate using the ropes to tug herself back to a standing position in the corner, hearing her foe's angry words!

"And you... should kiss my ass..." Kate spat back in between taking in gulps of air, a smirk on her face as she raised a hand in order to extend her middle finger towards Jessica, flipping her off! The action was meant to really piss off the purple haired woman, Kate hoping to incite Jessica into an angry charge!

It wasn't much of a comeback, truth be told. Jessica looked into Kate's eyes as she said it, her purple eyes glowering with the quiet seething malice that came with a thousand hours in the gym and what felt like a hundred thousand failures. All of her family's inglories weighed upon her shoulders as she stared at the Aussie, letting the hatred wash over her. She knew that Kate was provoking her. The litany of matches that she had fought in the dingy gyms of Iowa and Minnesota and some other god-forsaken state called on her, and told her not to fall into the trap. Not to fight the match on Kate's terms.

But that wasn't who Jessica was. The first step was a slow one, probing, hesitant. The second one was a little bit faster. Then footfalls came faster and faster like drops of rain slamming into a car barreling down I-80 at 90 miles an hour. Jessica charged at the Aussie girl before soaring into the air for a missile dropkick!

With a hissed taunt and a middle finger in Jessica's direction, it first seemed like the Violent Violet wasn't going to take the bait, as she stood there staring at Kate with a nasty glare, the coyote gazing back with a smug smirk! But then, sure enough, her foe would take a few steps forwards, before her feet picked up speed and she full on sprinted towards the masked wrestler, leaping up and shooting both of her feet right at Kate in order to try and crush her, playing into the coyote's hands!

"That's right, right here you fuckin idiot!" Kate hissed as Jessica approached her, waiting for the last second before suddenly yanking on the ropes in order to leap up and plant her feet on the middle ropes! Should Jessica sail under her and miss her dropkick, Kate would wait until she was floored, before jumping up once more, aiming to come down hard on her foe with a brutal double foot stomp!

Jessica had long since past the point of no return for a wide variety of things in her life. Her wrestling career. Her relationships with her family. Her missile dropkick. Like most things in her life, Jessica had entered into the move with wild abandon, knowing full well that missing would mean dooming herself to oblivion. And as she saw Kate getting out of the way, she gritted her teeth. She had not worn Kate down enough that she would not be able to dodge, a fact that she had realized far too late.

Jessica skidded to a halt a few feet from her launch point. The Violent Violet was turning, moving, doing everything that she could to not be a sitting duck. Her opponent brought an abrupt halt to those plans when she implanted two strong feet straight into Jessica's abs. Jessica didn't even have the wind to let out an "oomph!"

Despite the amount of damage that had been inflicted on the coyote, when Jessica barreled across the canvas towards her, a sense of urgency compelled Kate to move out of the way, slipping out of Jessica's path of destruction and letting her whiff with her dropkick! And as Jessica collided with the canvas, Kate would be quick to take advantage, wanting to truly stamp out the last hope of Jessica's chances at victory in the most literal sense possible, leaping over the ropes and coming down hard with a double foot stomp!

With a crushing blow, the coyote would land both feet right on the purple haired woman's stomach, crushing the air out of her and leaving her open, Kate intending to end this match here and now!

"Come here you mouthy little bitch... it's time to put you away!" Kate said as she reached down to grab Jessica and tug her to the middle of the ring, tossing her onto her stomach before sitting on her back! And from there, Kate would go for her finisher Picking the Bones, yanking Jessica's arms up over her legs, before reaching an arm around her neck and wrenching back, trapping her in a dragon sleeper camel clutch!

Jessica couldn't react in time. The pain in her stomach was another straw on the camel's back. Had she not been wrestling since her mid-teens, she would have faded far before now due to the Aussie girl's constant attacks. She was being pulled somewhere, but she was not aware of where she was going. Her teeth were gritted, and she held her stomach. It did her little good. Jessica was quickly taken along in Kate's ride.

And what a painful ride it was. She didn't know which part of her body hurt more but she was not in much of a hurry to find out. Her hand balled into a fist. There was no avenue to punch her way out, no wiggle room to thrash her way out. The Violent Violet was stuck, and she knew that more than anyone. She unballed her fist, and flattened it out, as if she were ready to tap against Kate's leg.

Then she stopped. She would much rather be rendered unconscious than admit a defeat.

Taking a seat on Jessica's back, the Australian wrestler would quickly take her foe's arms out of the equation by yanking them up and over her legs, making sure that the winded woman underneath her wouldn't have a chance to use her arms to fight for her freedom. And then, in one swift movement, Kate would reach forwards and loop her arm around Jessica's neck, wrenching back hard to torque the Violent Violet's spine to the absolute limit that it could bend, along with cutting off her air!

"Thaaaaaaaaaat's right, fuckin take it!" Kate hissed through clenched teeth, taking all the pain and ache she felt and turning it into anger, anger that fueled her to crank harder and harder on the submission! Jessica's hand lifted up, hovering over Kate's leg, and the coyote was filled with a sense of smug satisfaction. ...That was quickly taken away when Jessica balled up her fist, refusing to submit!

"Nnngh... fine! Take a nap then, no difference to me!" Kate said, tightening her grip on her foe's neck, aiming to choke Jessica out if she wouldn't tap, looking to finally put away the purple haired woman!

Jessica was losing air with every second that passed by. She knew that. But she was a mouse in a trap, and there was nothing that she could do at this point. Kate was saying something, but it got lost in the wash of her own ears swimming through the fog and the crowd shouting as they knew they were witnessing an end to this momentous bout. Soon, Jessica would be in the dreamland. Only there could she win this match. She had fought well, maybe eased off the gas at a few different points. Jessica would be watching the tape later to figure out where she went wrong, and how she could be invincible in the future.

But for now, she passed out.

Weary as she was, Kate seemed to have no shortage of energy when it came to making Jessica hurt, perhaps knowing that now that she had locked in her finisher, she had one chance to get take this match here and now, as if her foe got out she wasn't sure what she'd have left! However, her hold was locked in tight, and not even the raging monster that was Jessica could break free now that she was completely out of air, refusing to tap and eventually passing out in the hold!

The ref checked Jessica, and seeing her arm limp, would turn and call for the bell, signaling an end to the match as the debuting luchadora notched an impressive win over one of LAW's elite! With Jessica out cold, Kate would release the hold and allow her to flop to the mat, standing up and planting a foot on Jessica's back as she had her hand raised, her LAW career up and running!
