Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo

Her knee outstretched to make impact with her opponent's face, Michiko kept charging forward. There was a smile on her face, and she already moved with confidence in her strides. She was sure that this would show Hinoka that she meant business! As she zeroed in on her foe, kicking her leg up from the ground, she was confident the redhead would be floored!

Hinoka, of course, wasn't floored. Michiko instead went running blindly on past her, passing her by before she even realized her strike had missed. She stopped as she went back into the ropes, looking around her with a confused look on her face as she tried to figure out where Hinoka had gone. But figuring that the second time was the charm, she turned and came charging back for her. Even if Hinoka ducked the first time, Michiko was sure she'd hit with the second!

At least, until the redhead kicked out just in time, knocking Michiko's foot out from under her. With a yelp, she fell forward onto her face with a thud, shaking the canvas and leaving her open for Hinoka to take advantage of the opening.

Hinoka's body left the mat for a split second as her opponent's fall shook the canvas a little."3...2...and" she counted before pushing her arms elevating the redhead back to a standing position. With Michiko lying on the ground, it was Hinoka's turn to make a mark.

First she approached Michiko's body from the side before giving the lilac haired wrestler some quick stomps. "1...2!...3!...4!...5!" the crowd counted. "That should slow you down. No way you are slipping out of this!" Hinoka exclaimed to her opponent below as she made a single step backwards.

Raising her right arm up, Hinoka then jumped ahead, hoping to land on Michiko's back elbow first. She was 99% positive that this move wouldn't miss.

Michiko might have had the edge before, but now it was Hinoka's turn to be in control, as the redhead lunged to her feet before throwing her foot in towards Michiko's back. While the lilac-haired woman was usually someone with an ear for showmanship, it seemed that it was Hinoka who had the crowd on her side now - she could hear how they were counting on every stomp she made against the girl's back! And indeed, it served its purpose in softening Michiko up - she let out a groan, slumping face-first against the mat and sprawled out over the ground. Her head was spinning from lack of breath, and she was in no place to dodge.

Which, of course, meant she was primed for taking the blow when Hinoka jumped up to crash down on her with an elbow drop! A cry of pain left the lilac-haired wrestler's mouth as her body bucked up from the mat, Hinoka's elbow digging in just between her shoulderblades, before she came to deflate once again.

For what looked like a microsecond, Hinoka had a look of relief on her face as she landed an elbow drop with no issue. Now she was ready to get back to business for sure. She continued pressing her elbow down against Michiko's back, feeling the need to whittle down her opponent's resolve and stamina. She wasn't the most adept when it came to grappling but the redhead had a few tricks up her sleeve. Michiko would likely be lying on her stomach with arms and legs completely spread.

It was time for Hinoka to concentrate her efforts on the neck and above. She rolled herself off of the lilac haired wrestler's body and crawled beside her. Reaching both hands around Michiko face and pulling back, Hinoka applied pressure to the neck and shoulders through the crossface. This wasn't a win condition though.

As good as Michiko was when it came to power moves and holds, Hinoka had the advantage when it came to agility - and she was definitely making that known, as she flung herself off the ropes to send an elbow into Michiko's back before the lilac-haired woman was even back on her feet! A cry of pain left her and she fell back against the mat - leaving her open for Hinoka to then target.

Michiko clenched her teeth, wincing from the pain of having Hinoka yank back at her face. Her moans were muffled against the redhead's palms, and she blindly clawed at the air in front of her in desperation, but found herself too far from the ropes for this to be of much advantage. The best she could do was to grab for Hinoka's hands to try and pull them away.

Keeping both eyes on Michiko's body while applying the crossface was her number one priority. She wasn't going to let her target sneak away so easily. Gritting her teeth and adopting a determined look on her face, Hinoka tried making use of her upper body strength and cranked back on Michiko's face. Not wanting to break away due to other woman's pushing, the redhead pressed her own legs and body down as if wrangling some sort of wild beast. Her own face was turning a little pink from the stress.

The crossface would be broken but not through Michiko powering through but through Hinoka's own decision. The hi flier stood up arching her back before taking a deep breath as she was about to try something big. She held her opponent by the forehead and dragged her across the ring until the two reached the edge.. Provided Michiko doesn't fight back during the journey, Hinoka placed the lilac haired wrestler's head in between the upper ropes. Taking a few large steps back, the redhead sprinted to where her opponent lied and jumped into the air. She hoped to land a body guillotine onto Michiko's vulnerable neck.

Hinoka definitely had Michiko caught in a less than pleasant position, as she pulled back harder against her head to wrench her spine into place, drawing a pained gag from the lavender-haired girl. Michiko wanted to get out of it as soon as she could, and that was what she aimed for in trying to pull Hinoka's hands off her face. But not even that would do her much good. Hinoka, after all, had other things in mind.

She pulled Michiko back up, going to haul her over towards the ropes, and sending her dragging across the ground on her knees. Michiko probably could fight back if she wanted to, but right now she was busy trying to nurse the pain in her neck, as one hand went to rub at the back of it. So too, Michiko had no idea just what Hinoka was setting up, and she had to go along with it for now - if she didn't know what to expect, how could she attempt to counter?

At last, though, Michiko was placed with her head between the ropes, and she looked out of the corner of her eye to see Hinoka charging dead at her! Now Michiko knew what she was getting at, and she was sure that it would spell disaster if she allowed the redhead's daring move to hit her! Luckily, there was one thing Michiko had in her favor. This had been a complex move for Hinoka to set up, and Michiko had used that time to recover her stamina, giving her now the opportunity to escape! She tried to dive through the ropes as Hinoka was coming for her, hoping she could get out before her opponent hit her!

The cards were put into place, Michiko was hanging between the ropes and Hinoka was approaching her at almost max speed. Believing that this time her opponent wouldn't be so evasive this time, the redhead made the leap of faith and was about to make a massive dent in the other wrestler's stamina. There were signs of movement coming from Michiko. Will she strike gold once again and escape another one of Hinoka's risky manoeuvres?

Fortunately for Hinoka that is, she was able to make contact with Michiko's body in time and keep the fellow wrestler in between the ropes. She sighed with relief as she wasn't a victim to her own move for once. Bouncing on top of the other woman's back for a few seconds, she leaned back dropping herself onto two feet. The redhead pulled on Michiko's legs so her body landed facefirst into the canvas.

Rolling the other woman onto her back and lying on top for a body pin, Hinoka hoped that this would be enough to take out Michiko. "1....2...." the ref called.

Michiko was sure that if this move landed it would spell disaster for her. She wanted to get out as soon as she could, and since she had had enough luck turning Hinoka's own momentum against her up to this point, she suspected that this would be no different. But what was different was that those times, Michiko had been a good deal fresher, whereas now she had just fought off a crossface. Still winded, Michiko couldn't push herself out through the ropes in time, and Hinoka's guillotine landed sharply on her back, sending her crashing back downwards with a scream!

Michiko didn't appreciate it either as Hinoka bounced her weight against her, driving the remaining air out of her lungs with a hoarse wheeze as she settled down against the canvas, dazed enough for the redhead to turn her onto her back and cover her for the pin.

The lilac-haired woman was left staring blankly up at the ceiling, her head spinning as she groaned under her breath. She heard the one, and that barely registered in her dazed mind. Then she head the two, and that only came as a groggy realization - but a moment later, Michiko's eyes opened wide as she let out a gasp. She was almost done for, and she would have to act fast!

"Thr-NO! Only two!" the ref called suddenly, as at the very last minute, Michiko kicked out of the pin, the second wind hitting her then and there! She tried to roll herself back up to a sitting position, hoping to take back the momentum!

As the official counted, Hinoka did her best to keep cool. Maybe all her hard work will finally pay off. The referee slapped the mat for a second time and the redhead failed to notice the change in Michiko's facial expressions. Her heart jumped as the referee supposedly made a third count. "Oh finally! Wait only two? Are you sure?" she raised her body and looked up at the referee. She went under the impression that Michiko kicked out just a bit later.

"Yes she raised her shoulders before the final count. The match is still on" the official bluntly responded. Hinoka brought her hands to face feeling a bit frustrated. After a few seconds she set her sights on the women sitting opposite of her. "Fine let's do this. It can't be that hard pinning you down again" adopting a brawler stance, she awaited Michiko's next move.
