Naomi Fujimoto Vs. Long Shin! Debut match for Long!

There just doesn't seem like anything in the world that can phase Long. Even with this being his debut match in L.A.W., he seems cool and collected like always. Long is sitting backstage in his ring gear with a book in his nose and his glasses resting just on the tip of his nose. He didn't even know who his opponent is! Nor did he really care... Long was very confident in his ability that he could be anyone or anything that was in his path. "Hmmm... Interesting." He would say to himself while reading a particular line in his book. Just then though, the announcer would call his name and he knew that it was his time to go. Standing up, he would start to walk over towards the entrance still reading his book.

As he made his way down the ramp way, Long took slow and steady steps while looking up only to take a glance at the crowd and give them a quick wave before returning to his book. It's not like he wanted to ignore the crowd or anything, but he was just too engrossed in it right now. He then made his way up the steps and onto the apron. Dipping his body under the top rope, he would then arrive in the middle of the ring and give the crowd another wave before heading off to one of the corners of the ring. He leaned back on the turnbuckle and thumbed a page and continued to read.

In the backstage area, Naomi patiently waited for her opponent to make his entrance as the sensual former attorney was quick to watch every step on the monitor on display. This one seemed to be quite the serious type, as he even seemed to take his book he was reading with intensity which only caused her lips to curl into a sly smirk. She was a relative newcomer both to LAW in general and in particular the mixed division but with opponents like this her excitement only grew.

Once her theme music played, Naomi knew the show had began. And she made her way to the entrance stage as she revealed her rather revealing standard attire as she struck a wink to the crowd who seemed to eat it up as she posed with confidence and allure before she strutted down the entrance ramp to the ring. Her hips swayed as her eyes shinned with confidence and a slight touch of seductiveness as they eyed Long Shin as she moved onto the apron and climbed into the ring as she struck a sexy but powerful pose in the center of the ring, blowing a kiss to the crowd before she moved to the opposite corner of Long Shin as the two would lock eyes.

The heavy sound of music would break Long's concentration of reading and demand him to look up. He watched as the beauty would start to walk down the ramp with sexual appeal spilling out. The crowd was certainly in her favor as it seemed like the guys just couldn't get enough of her and their girlfriends all giving them dirty looks for undressing her with their eyes. A simple smirk would strike across Long's face and he would shake his head, "Hm, I guess it's only natural to get that kind of reaction." He would say to himself.

Finally closing his book, Long would bend down and place it underneath the turnbuckle he was standing next to. Naomi would get into the ring and Long's eyes would meet hers for the first time. There was no doubt about her beauty, but what about her wrestling ability? It doesn't matter how pretty or handsome you are, if you don't have the skills to back it up, then you won't make it far in this kind of business. "Quite the vixen you are. I hope we have a good match." Long would say over to her with a bow out of respect.

Naomi watched as she made her entranced as her opponent finally moved his eyes from that book of his to her as he expressed a wish to have a good match while he gave her that nickname "vixen" which given she had been called worse she considered a compliment as she smiled back at her opponent and would respond in kind.

"And I can see you are a strong young man, I sense this will be quite fun. I only hope that you prove a worthy challenge cause I won't be going easy~" Naomi replied back with a wink as her sly smirk seemed to show some confidence in herself and as a further display of this she would move to the center of the ring showing no intimidation towards Long Shin as she seemed more eager than anything to get going.

Returning up from his bow, Long would say back to her, "I would expect no less in a competition." He pressed his glasses back up to his face and actually intended to wrestle with them on! Long placed both hands behind his back and casually walked up to the center of the ring to meet Naomi face to face. The referee got next to both of them and explained the rules that this is going to be a standard contest. After the rules were explained, the referee turned around and motioned his hand for the bell.

DING! DING! DING!

As soon as the bell rung, Long made no hesitation with his movements and immediately went for a lockup on Naomi. If this lockup was successful, he would then try to wrap his right arm around her neck and go down on his right knee to try and torque it enough and cause pain in the standard headlock.

As Naomi heard the bell ring, she herself also prepared herself by getting in a grapple position and was eager to lock up with Long Shin as this match went underway. Naomi questioned how one could wrestle effectively with glasses on, but given some people asked the same about her outfit she figured it wasn't a topic worth consideration.

What was worth thinking was Long Shin's efforts to bring her into a tight headlock, Naomi frowned a bit at this but was not one to be strung along by their opponent so easily as she aimed to pull her head back to slip out as her aim was to try and counter by grabbing an arm and trying to pull it behind Long Shin to apply a rear armbar to apply pressure and keep her opponent ahead of her.

With the quick movements of Naomi, Long didn't anticipate her to escape so quickly! Her head slipped right out from underneath his arm and she got right behind him. Before he could turn around to face her though, she already grappled his arm and twisted it behind his back. "Mmph! Gah!" Long let out a couple of groans as the pain started to set in.

Luckily for Long though, he knew exactly how to counter this move as he has studied other wrestling matches in the past. Using the arm that was currently behind his back, Long would duck under and into the body of Naomi and would spin around to where he would grapple her wrist! Twisting it just like she did with his arm, he would re-position himself right behind her now with her arm now locked behind her back!

Just as quickly as Naomi had turned the tables on Long Shin to gain leverage, her opponent had done the same. As he seemed to possess some natural ring presence and quickly countered her behind the back armbar with one of his own; successfully twisting the wrist behind it as Naomi grimaced and slapped at her arm to try and dwell out the pain before a grin dawned her lips.

"Not bad, seems you have natural experience with counters..." Naomi complimented, which itself was both just good spirit but more importantly just a way to get him talking as she needed a moment to stall while she worked out the best counter to escape this hold.

Long gave her a sly grin at her compliment and said back, "It's best to study up and come in prepared, no matter what it is in life." Long wrenched up on her arm again to make sure that the pain is still getting through to her. Compliments are nice and all, but in the wrestling ring, anything goes. He wondered though if he should keep this hold on her or try to transition it to something else, but her thought that if she isn't escaping out of it, why fix it if it isn't broke.

What might be an issue though with Long is the way he over thinks things and it was starting to come into play now. Is his stance correct? Should he move over towards the center of the ring more? What about the way his elbow is bent during this hold? With all this running through his mind, a quick action from Naomi may be the key to getting out of this lock.

"I see, a student of the game then? I am curious if this helps you in areas beyond the ring~" Naomi said with a wink, clearly not hiding what she implied by that comment but even if her mind seemed focused on...other matters, she already noted the subtle indecision that Long Shin had which provided moment for an opening.

Naomi would aim to take advantage, as she would slip her free hand down by his left leg and work to slip her leg behind his right as she aimed to pull on that leg and try to trip Long Shin to both drop him on his back and try to break the hold in one move.
