And that was how the ex-model now found herself meeting with the press in the LAW offices, standing tall and proud with well-rehearsed poise as she faced each question they brought forth calmly and elegantly. With her past career in the fashion industry, there were as many reporters polling her on her experiences there as there were from athletic publications. Danielle was perfectly happy for that all the same. She was proud of her looks as much as of what she was convinced was her own talent, and she was always happy to be recognized for that. So far, the questions were basic enough. How did she start modeling, what made her decide to become a wrestler, where she saw herself in the future. Those were all questions she had answered many times before

"I can certainly confirm one thing," Danielle answered. "That she's a pitiful excuse for a model who can't even dream of coming close to my standards! Yes, I might have had to beat that into her head until she got it, but she started it anyway. I can only hope that will get her to think twice about crossing me!"
After some murmurs from the reporters, unsure how to parse how Danielle had basically just admitted to assaulting one of her coworkers, another stepped up to change the subject. "There's been a lot of other promising names that have come through LAW lately, Danielle," he said. "Plenty who have made their marks in other walks of life, just like you did. Ruby Rose, for instance, started with track and boxing. What do you feel about what they can bring to the sport?"
Danielle, however, seemed to think differently of that. She stopped, staring dead ahead at the reporter as her eyebrow raised. "Excuzes-moi?" she said. "You would dare say I'm on the same level as...as some undersized half-hearted little twit who knows more about running away than about holding her own?" Dani was only vaguely familiar with Ruby, and she wasn't impressed with what she saw of her. Granted, she had only casually glanced at a few videos of her matches, but she figured that was all she had to see. She was just some skinny little girl she could easily crumple like a wad of paper in her hand. Surely, she was better than this. "Never insult me in such a way again, do you hear?"
"Maybe we should move on, erm-" the reporter said, clearing his throat.
"Non, non! Allow me to make my point perfectly clear," Dani interjected. "You will not speak of me in comparison to anyone else in this room. You will especially not compare me to any such...such pitiful failures! And I do NOT wish to be implied I am on the same level as Ruby Rose! Do you understand me?" Her voice steadily rose in volume and intensity, and it was growing to be audible from elsewhere in the building.
