Yuki Kazikura vs. Sunny K [D]

In the confusion, Yuki wasn't focused enough on any one limb in particular to notice the dangerous proximity between her leg and Sunny's arm, and she was upended, going to the mat. As much as Yuki would've wished that could have gone better, she was still quick to try and right herself, as she rolled to her back and started to pick herself up.

But in doing so she was still wasting time - time that Sunny could use to her advantage, as she ran in to throw her arms around Yuki's waist and sweep her up! The raven-haired girl coughed from the pressure around her body as she felt Sunny's arms squeeze in closer. Groaning, her legs began to kick at the air, and she squirmed back and forth. With both competitors being of similar builds, Yuki didn't have much she could use to her advantage in offsetting the balance. But she also couldn't back down. She had one more trick up her sleeve, as she moved to throw her arms around Sunny's head and counter her hold with a headlock!

Sunny lifted Yuki up, squeezing as hard as she could, forcing the Japanese wrestler to squirm about in the air. However, as the blonde was locked in on keeping her opponent up in the air with all of her energy and focus she did not notice an arm wrap around her head and jerk it into a headlock.

Feeling her neck getting cranked tightly, Sunny panicked and attempted to toss the two of them locked together towards the ground in a slam to try to bail from her compromised position.

The pressure was starting to build. Yuki's face was growing red, and her teeth clenched as her breaths came in hot and labored. But she wasn't content to leave this with her at Sunny's mercy. She had to fight back - and with her headlock, she had transitioned their struggle to a mutual test of strength! She would have to see who would last the longer, and if her hold would break before Sunny's did.

Trying to wrench on the position she had achieved, Yuki started to work at Sunny's neck - but as it turned out, she was growing cocky in doing so. That alerted Sunny to her situation, and she was quick to break the lock by hurling both to the ground. Yuki's heart practically leaped into her throat as she hit the ground, feeling the canvas bounce under their combined weights. The landing shook her, forcing her to let Sunny go as she rolled onto her back.

Sending the two of them crashing to the ground, Sunny's mutual slam shook the canvas from the impact and forced both of them to let go of each other. Pain shot into her shoulder as she landed awkwardly on her side, drawing a quiet groan from her, but the blonde was getting used to the pain from her tumbles this match.

Scraping herself off of the floor was becoming more and more difficult as the match went on, but she knew that she needed to get back up quickly or she might not get a chance. Biting down on her teeth, Sunny slowly pulled herself back up to her feet, her limbs and joints feeling stiff as if she was wearing a suit made of cardboard. She couldn't bring herself to rush towards her opponent, not yet at least. Rather, she would look for Yuki to pick herself up and motion to lock up with her. "Ughhh....let's do this!"

It had surely been a desperation move from Sunny, and one that carried risk to her as well as her opponent. Yuki could recognize that, as the two of them struck the mat together, and she watched how much Sunny struggled to get up. Looking at her was almost enough to make her wince. But to Sunny's credit, Yuki was feeling sore herself. If nothing else, the match had been going on for quite some time, and it was wearing her down. She knew that they were nearing the end, and it was all down to this!

Yuki slowly got up herself, needing to take the time to stretch and shake herself out before turning her attention back to Sunny, seeing how much she struggled to move. She briefly felt concern for her, but it wasn't going to hold her back. She needed to finish this match, and she couldn't go soft now. "Then it's a deal," she said. With shaky knees, she lowered herself down into a stance and raised her hands, stepping closer slowly but surely to link hands with the blonde as she returned her offer. There, she would give a few pushes and pulls, testing Sunny's strength until the moment was right.

Seeing Yuki pick herself back up, Sunny rolled her shoulders back in anticipation for the lock up. She was going to need all of her strength for this, the only question was how much she had left.

As the two met in the center of the ring, their hands interlocked and they struggled to get the upper hand on one another. The pressure was building up relentlessly in Sunny; she was able to keep Yuki at bay but no matter how hard she pushed she was unable to overpower her opponent. Gritting down and exerting whatever energy she could draw, Sunny continued to keep pushing and pulling away, hoping to somehow find Yuki off balance. It would have to happen soon though, as she knew that she couldn't keep up with this for much longer.

The balance held like a metronome, as the two girls seemed evenly matched, both pushing and pulling at one another. First Yuki, then Sunny, and then Yuki again, all seeming to gain an edge before the other came back at it. Yuki's eyes narrowed in focused concentration, and the muscles in her arms tensed as she leaned in again for another push. Her breaths were starting to quicken the more Yuki held this position. She had it set in mind to last this out until Sunny made a move that she might be able to turn against her. Her mind ran through the possibilities, and how she might be able to react to each.

The only problem was, Sunny wasn't exactly making a move. And Yuki didn't know how long she could keep this up before something would have to be done.

Eventually, taking in a breath, Yuki deemed that she might as well act. She swung her knee up to impact Sunny's stomach, hoping to bend her over!

Sunny could feel every inch of her body shaking as she tried to find a way to knock Yuki off balance. Her muscles couldn't take much more stress, and she was wondering if the same was for her counterpart. At this point, she wasn't even sure what she would attempt to do next even if she did manage to somehow force Yuki to the ground. What she wasn't expecting was a sharp knee to her gut, knocking the air out of her and sapping what ever strength she had left.

Sunny could only let out a muffled groan as she dropped to her knees and keeled over, ripping her hands away to clutch her stomach, stiff as a statue.

Even after the kick landed, Yuki could feel it. Her leg was stiff even when it came back down to a neutral position, and she leaned over to rub her knee to try and get some feeling back into it. Her chest rose and fell with hoarse pants, and she looked up at her opponent through sweat-soaked hair that had fallen over her eyes. But she knew she had Sunny right where she wanted her, on her knees and out of energy. This was it. She couldn't falter now!

Her legs moving faster than her head was, Yuki let the adrenaline carry her on as she charged past Sunny and ran for the ropes behind her. With her stamina flagging as it was, she needed all the help she could get in order to maintain mobility. But she hit them and went to use their spring to send her back towards Sunny, where in coming close she would kick out her legs to try and nail her with a dropkick square in the back! She had to finish this match, and even if she might not have enough in her to use a true finisher, she was sure that in Sunny's state it would do the trick.

Sunny was absolutely spent, gasping for air as she tried to regain the wind that was knocked out of her. She simply could not do anything else but stay there on her knees paralyzed as she saw Yuki charge right at her only to zip right past her. The blonde couldn't even bother to comprehend what happened, as moments later she was violently drop kicked in the back, sending her sprawling face down on the mat.

With a new source of pain entering the fold, Sunny could only lay there, her energy completely sapped and her muscles refusing to move.
