Ossi Shamar vs Amaya Shizuko

Ossi succeeded in pulling Amaya down toward the mat with her and the other wrestler quickly tried to get out of the hold, which was exactly what Ossi had hoped for. She might have been overpowered in the test of strength, but this match was far from over. As Amaya rose, Ossi followed her and quickly tried to take advantage by leaping into a grapple.

Getting a hold of Amaya's arm, the Syrian wrestler attempted to press her brief advantage by throwing her opponent into a hip toss.

And it would work. For this moment it seemed the stars aligned for Ossi as Amaya was just a step too slow to the reactions of the woman as she felt her underarm tucked and soon enough Amaya had been launched as she was slammed by the hip toss as she fell to her back and had been taken down by Ossi.

Amaya was quick to rolled away to the corner as she needed some distance. Glancing up at Ossi as she rolled her shoulder to get it loose and would work to use the ropes to try and stand back up.

Ossi smirked arrogantly as she watched Amaya pick herself up off the canvas and using the ropes to help. She felt a thrill, pleased with herself for having gotten out of the test of strength and turned the tables on her stoney-faced opponent.

"Didn't see that coming, huh?" Ossi taunted - unwisely giving Amaya a chance to recover fully - spreading her arms wide and cocking a hip, playing to the crowd. "Shouldn't underestimate me so quickly." And with that, she dashed across the ring, attempting to grapple with her opponent again and continue her momentum.

However, Ossi's show of confidence as she played to the crowd would prove to be costly as she granted Amaya more than the time she needed to shake off the hip toss. So by the time Ossi finally turned to face her going for a charging grapple Amaya had been more than ready for it.

And her answer was to charge as she aimed to deliver a running stiff clothesline to try and knock Ossi off her feet to return the hip toss in kind to what she figured would be an unsuspecting opponent.

Ossi rushed across the ring, bursting with confidence over her early success in the match. She smiled as she crossed the distance between them.

But suddenly Amaya burst into motion, rushing out to meet her far too fast for Ossi to react to what was happening. Before she knew it, the overconfident Syrian took a crushing clothesline to the chest that knocked her flat.

"UNNNNGGHH!" Ossi cried in pain as she hit the canvas hard, both gloved hands flying to massage her aching chest where the blow had struck. She now lay vulnerable to Amaya's follow up, taken totally off guard by the sudden attack.

"Didn't see that coming, huh?" Amaya replied, giving the words Ossi had boasted about moments ago back to her as it seemed even the always serious Amaya was capable of taunts of her own. And with Ossi down and vulnerable she aimed to take advantage of this opening.

Amaya would move to quickly bounce against the ropes, building up some momentum as she aimed to move down towards Ossi as her plan was to simply drop a knee across Ossi's head as she was not one to give her opponent a chance to recover willingly.

Ossi heard Amaya's taunt and groaned in frustration, unable to do anything about it now. The pain in her chest was beginning to subside, but not in time for her to get out of the way of Amaya's follow up. Her opponent bounced of the ropes, raced across the ring and dropped a knee across the vulnerable Syrian wrestler's head.

"GNNNNH!" Ossi cried in pain as the blow connected. Stars exploded in her head and she grabbed her temples with both hands, her mouth hanging open as she took in shallow breath, stunned by the impact. Moaning, she tried to roll onto her front, hoping to crawl to the ropes and try to pull herself upright.

Amaya however was not one to allow such a reprieve on Ossi's part, as much like a shark when it smells blood when Amaya sensed weakness she only aimed to hammer that advantage even further.

Amaya would quickly follow Ossi and waited for her to begin crawling on the ropes...before she would move to try to press her boot on the back of Ossi's neck as her aim was to try and press Ossi's neck against the ropes and use them to try to give a choke to her opponent. Something the referee would be quick to pick up on.

"Hey! She's on the ropes back it off!
One!

But Amaya knew what she was doing with this attempt, as she had a five count to work with before the risk of DQ came and her plan was to milk it for all it was worth.

Ossi made it to the ropes, hoping that she would have enough time to get back to her feet before Amaya could capitalize on her vulnerable position. She gripped the middle rope with both hands and started to pull herself up, but before she could, she felt a sudden pressure on the back of her neck. Amaya's boot pressed hard against Ossi's neck, shoving her hard back down and jamming her throat down against the middle rope!

"GRRGHH!" Ossi gurgled in surprise, arms flailing and legs kicking as she was choked against the rope. Her mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water as she tried to take in a breath and squirm free, but she had no leverage to push back against Amaya's strong leg. She heard the referee start to count, but 5 seconds seemed like a long time to have to endure this.

Ossi's eyes rolled as she continued writhing, stuck at the mercy of her opponent for now. Her gloved hands pawed at the rope, trying to pull it from her neck.

TWO!

THREE!

"Nnnnghh..." Ossi moaned, thrashing weakly.

And Amaya would only continue to drive the pressure all the more, pressing her boot further into the back of Ossi's neck to try and drive it against the ropes with more force while she remained mindful of the referee's count.

FOUR! Last warning back off!
FI...!"

Just before the referee could declare five, Amaya stopped the choke as she moved her boot back and took a couple steps back; raising her arms to show she wasn't trying anything now even as the referee chewed her out. But little more than that given Amaya had not broken a rule as she would simply wait for Ossi to watch what the woman would do or perhaps wait for her to stand.
