A Matter of Pride: Katsumi Oshiro vs. Raquel Masters

Raquel arches, taking everyone by surprise! Her stomach shoots up against Katsumi's, forcing the punkette to slip from her position atop her!

"Tch.. dammit, Raquel!," she growls, still trying to only be heard by the brunette. "Just.. quit making this worse!"

It's frustrating, being caught between the joy of wrestling and the guilt of what she's stuck doing. It ending sooner and with less brutality would've been preferable! But if Raquel isn't interested in letting that happen, what choice does she have?

With arms still locked around the brunette's waist, Katsumi attempts to just haul the girl up to her feet with her again forcefully. And once at a vertical base, she'll lean into Raquel to get better purchase around her middle, before leaning back to hoist Raquel a little off her feet! The goal is to perfectly align Raquel's body with hers, specifically focusing at the bare midsections. Her forearms will begin clamping down, squeezing and crushing the brunette's toned belly against Katsumi's stomach in a bearhug, hoping to sap whatever remaining resistance away.

Raquel groaned as Katsumi lift her up into the air, howling as she thrashed her head around wildly! The bear hug may not be coming from a huge heavyweight but it still hurt like hell and every second stuck in it was pure agony for the lightweight. "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Raquel howled stuck and desperate for a way out of this mess! She tried to break Katsumi's grip and use her arms to power her way out. She knew it wasn't going to free her but she did hope to at least give herself some breathing room, take away just a bit of the torture in order to buy herself time to think of a better idea!

However increasingly it seemed like time was a luxury that she did not have in this matchup!

Part of the audience is eating up the brutishness of the hold, the spectacle of the pretty brunette being physically crushed and dominated. The other half are yearning, and quite vocally, for Raquel's resurgence. Neither is lost on Katsumi, equally torn. Part of her loves how this must look, her dominantly crushing the girl in her arms, squeezing the resistance out of her, and how exhilarating it feels. The other part of her is still hating that this is happening at all - that this should've really remained Raquel's night.

What a potential send-off. Katsumi's last victory, ruining another girl's night. One she didn't even have a shred of animosity towards.

As Raquel struggles and pushes at her arms, Katsumi decides to meet the two in the middle and shoot for a finish. The brunette seems to force her arms to loosen, only for Katsumi to come in again with a knee aiming to ram into her abdominals. The arms will close around her waist once more, but this time with the intent to swing her inverted, pressing Raquel into herself upside-down. The arms clamp and clench again to squeeze and crush the brunette, grinding her body into herself, keeping her face at hip-level.

Katsumi's looking for a more pliable, weakened, and helpless Raquel in this inverted bearhug. And to avoid getting kneed in the head, her face is tilted forward against the other girl's hips as well.

"Better hold onto me," she advises in a mutter.

Raquel was stubborn if nothing else. She was more or less dead weight in Katsumi's arms, unable to fight back or stop herself from being lift up, in limbo upside down pressed up against Katsumi once more! She tried to follow Katsumi's advice, but not to brace for anything as much as to give herself a better position to fight back! The stubborn woman began to lash out... or haphazardly land weak strikes as it was all she could muster! However, being upside down she was unaware that Katsumi had positioned her head to avoid the exact method of escape Raquel was attempting!

The confused woman wondered why she wasn't hitting anything, only shaking her head in disappointment and resignation as Katsumi had maintained total control of her.

Whether or not it was for Katsumi's recommendation, she can feel Raquel's arms loop her waist. The two grapplers press tight together, awash in camera flash that will likely be featured in a promo reel - and a few special interest websites. Raquel's flailing legs whiff as intended, Katsumi's face pressed more into Raquel's hips protectively.

She marches her prey to the center of the ring and clamped tighter, intensifying the squeeze for a few seconds longer. The hope is to wrench out a pained cry to signal her readiness for the end. But whether it comes or not, she continues. The punkette hops into the air and tucks her legs, aiming to crash their combined bodyweights over Raquel's skull! And upon impact, Katsumi intends to release her to let her drop to the mat how she will.

Raquel's meager struggles continue, ineffective as ever as Katsumi keeps hold without issue. Raquel is easily paraded about and when the drop comes its lights out, quite literally! Raquel smashes head first to the mat and instead of a loud scream of pain or a low squeaky moan of agony she goes silent, crumpling in a lifeless, unconscious heap at Katsumi's feet after the impact! Any shame or embarrassment she would feel for a lack luster performance would be felt later, regardless of Raquel having already wrestled and won earlier in the night as well as Katsumi being a reasonably heavy favorite to win even with a totally fresh Raquel stepping between the ropes.

For now, she was out and at the feet of Katsumi, unconscious and unable to resist a pin or whatever else her opponent had in mind for the time being.

Katsumi could feel Raquel go limp in her arms at the moment of impact. It feels good doing to someone else, but man alive did she hate it. And in this situation, she wasn't really thrilled about it either. But it felt oddly the more humane thing to do to the brunette.

Katsumi repositions herself at Raquel's left side, then lowers herself over her. Her right arm sets across her opponent's chest, tucking her arm in at her side. Her left arm slips between Raquel's legs to hook a thigh, pulling the limb up. Her back arches, pressing her bare midsection down tight across Raquel's toned stomach. Not how she normally might follow up a move like that, but she's trying to let Raquel keep a little of her dignity; pin her in a more standard way.

"Count it. She's done," she orders to the referee girl. Her expression doesn't show the typical impish glee she'd be feeling in this position. It's drawn. Neutral, bordering on sullen.

The count started and ended without Raquel struggling or resisting the attempt. As the three count came and the bell rang she was still laid out underneath Katsumi, out and still unaware of what had happened. When she woke up it would be pretty easy to figure out, and she would be up soon but for now she was still a motionless heap underneath Katsumi as the talented middleweight picked up a win making short work of Raquel! Tonight started out well, but soon ended like many of her other nights at the arena did: In defeat. Raquel knew it would be tough coming in after having already had a match but her chance to really prove herself especially against a talented but seemingly overconfident Katsumi would really have helped put her on the map.

The referee slaps the mat near Raquel's head.

One.

Two.

Three.

Systematic. Near robotic. No interruption, no variance, steady and rhythmic. This match was absolutely wrapped, relatively short as it was. Everyone knew Raquel was coming in at a disadvantage; especially Katsumi. And once that final strike on the mat lands, the punkette lifts onto her knees and lets the referee-girl hold her wrist aloft. But her eyes are glued to Raquel's face. The moment her wrist is released, she reaches down to scoop Raquel's head to attempt guiding her to sit up, to even her gaze on the other girl's - even if her eyes aren't quite open yet.

"Idiot," she hisses, caught between frustration and remorse. "I didn't want this! You didn't have to do this! I didn't want my last damn act in this federation to be screwing you over!"

Raquel woke up, sitting up somehow with Katsumi in her face flipping out over something. Raquel couldn't entirely make out what it was but she was able to shake her head and make a face at Katsumi. "What are you going on about?" Raquel asked absently, still gathering herself trying to figure out what was going on. Given the crowd noise, on top of Katsumi's music playing she surmised that she had managed to lose the match.

That didn't take a detective to figure out. However, Katsumi's rant was a different story. "What is with you?" Raquel asked staring at Katsumi, or at least staring in her direction since she may have seen not one but two of Katsumi!
