Four Corner Slugfest- Kyoko Akan vs Amaya Shizuko

While it seemed Amaya was good at avoiding things her attempts to counter were less then stellar. Kyoko had been able to nearly pull her head down when Amaya moved out of the way somehow slipping out of her grasp and trying to make Kyoko take a trip down to the floor. Kyoko felt her leg lost out from under her but in her forward charge mostly came down on the knee, and then turning to make sure Amaya didnt follow it up and know her down.

"You do know you can only avoid me so long before you actually have to fight and if you think some trip manuever is going to get the best of me your sorely mistaken." Kyoko said staring her down and looking at annoyed at the lack of actual fight that she was looking for when instead she was getting disinterest. It would make pounding her into oblivion more fun but it still annoyed her in the short term.

Amaya was never one to shy away from some words or speak her mind, but given Kyoko's continued lectures and taunts she decided the best course of action here was to show what she had in mind rather than say it.

As Kyoko turned from her kneeled position to face Amaya, she would see her relative newcomer opponent already had began a charge as she had her knee shot forward as the intent was crystal clear; to deliver a running knee right to the jaw of Kyoko and send a message that no word would really capture to its full glory.

Kyoko still had her wits about her and she still intended to work Amaya over until she was completely beaten down and unable to stop her from getting to each and every corner. With Kyoko turning to face Amaya though the women was still more then a little annoyed with her closing the gap and quickly throwing a knee to Kyoko's face and knocking her for a loop with a knee to the face.

"Gaagh!" Kyoko fell back taking the knee to the cheek. Her hand coming up to her face and rubbing it and keeps on moving away from her. Well at least as far as the strap would allow given that that she was still attached to her at this point.

"I could not agree more. A fight was bound to come, so allow me to close the distance for you." Amaya replied with a cold but composed tone as she hid whatever satisfaction that knee to the cheek brought in her as she took advantage of their match to pull on the strap to work to shift Kyoko closer to her before she had a chance to fully recover.

Once she was close, Amaya would aim to try and further drive the punishment; with a literal attempt to drive her knee right into Kyoko's gut.

As Kyoko was moving back and away from the women who just blasted her face with a knee Kyoko tried to stay up on her feet when she felt the strap pulled on and the women forcing her closer before she was suddenly brought in close and kneed in the gut with Amaya closing the gap quicker then one would expect her to.

"Uggh!" The impact was a surprise even for her but she found herself handling the hit with as much defense as she could muster. Even if it still hurt like a bitch. Though with Amaya this close she flet her instincts kick in for her quickly sending a punch up to strike Amaya right back and in her own stomach to force her to back off if possible.

Amaya had managed to bring Kyoko closer and deliver a clean strike to her gut, but any satisfaction or even follow up move would face a stunning delay as Kyoko seemed to have some fight even as she was struck as she fired a punch back to Amaya's own gut as the unexpected counter struck clean right at her gut.

"Agh!" Amaya groaned out, coughing violently in response to the punch as she felt the sting of the blow. This momentarily halted her momentum, but Amaya tried to push through the pain as her aim was to use the strap to try to throw Kyoko into the ropes with a modified irish whip; taking advantage of being able to tug on the strap to move Kyoko rather than grab her wrist as her plan was to try and catch her with a back elbow on her rebound if she could successfully manage to send her to the ropes.

Kyoko hit back as quickly as she could. Her abs weren't about to be badly hurt by any one punch and Kyoko had built herself around retaliating towards strikes like that. Amaya took it rather well but was clearly surprised Kyoko had it in her to strike back, a underestimation she was going to pay for along with several others if she didnt wisen up. Though next she tried to use the strap to her advantage pulling on it and trying to throw Kyoko into the ropes by her arm rather then grab her.

Kyoko followed mostly because of the sudden force on the strap bringing her along until she hit the ropes and her other arm wrapped over it. Holding herself in place there to evaluate and keep herself from being surprised by something. Instead Kyoko would try and hold her ground to see where Amaya is and then try and rush in on her own terms for a clothesline.

Just as Amaya had been quick to use the strap to her advantage, Kyoko had been just as quick to answer with a counter of her own as she instinctively used the ropes to halt her advantage as she hung there. Amaya frowned, as her aim was to go to her quickly to try and further her advantage but Kyoko proved herself to be a step quickly.

She launched out with a clothesline charge as Amaya felt it strike her chest and with a groan she was slammed back onto the canvas as the clothesline succeeded in taking her town. Shifting the tide back to Kyoko as this contest got quick physical in a hurry.

Kyoko felt good letting that arm smack against Amaya's chest and knocking her down. Feeling embarrassed by how she had been treated in the early going and still very pissed off by Amaya's declaration that she was nothing but a stepping stone for her. This was hopefully the start of making her realize who she had stumbled in her with and now she was dead set on making her pay for it.

Targetting her chest again Kyoko would go for a simple elbow drop right between her opponents breasts to really mess up her breathing. If that hit she would try and move up and wrap her arms around her head to secure a headlock around Amaya and force her close to her chest. Hoping to control the pace from here on out.

Amaya had been busying recovering from the sting of the clothesline so she had no means to mount a defense against Kyoko's next attack as before long she felt that sharp elbow of Kyoko drove right into her already sore chest.

"Gaaagh!" Amaya groaned out as some air had been driven from her lungs which had stunned her just enough to allow Kyoko to freely set up this next move. Which it turns out was moving by her head as she wrapped strong arms around her chin and applied a side headlock as the pressure was instantly felt. Naturally Amaya's eyes shot up and her hands reached for Kyoko's arms as she began to push against it to try and shove Kyoko off of her while she was kept down for the moment.
