Heavy rock music began to blare through the arena as Cali stepped out of the curtain, sporting a blue variant of her body suit. The barefooted wrestled swayed her hips as she walked down the ramp as her latest match involved Katori Kimura, someone who was highly praised as a skilled wrestler and the successor to the legendary Mighty Yukiko. As someone who was a protege to a high-profile wrestler herself, Cali felt a sort of kinship to Katori, but also a sense of a rivalry brewing. Cali climbed into the ring and faced the stage as she awaited her opponent.

"You are going to be a good fight." Cali muttered "I can feel it."

Some time after Cali finished her entrance, a few minutes have passed to let things calm down a bit before the second wrestler made her appearance. Then the lights in the whole arena went dark which silenced the entire crowd in anticipation for what will happen next, the Jumbotron soon lights up and displays footage as the song Wild Spice by Masami Okui starts to play but the arena is still dark and somewhat quiet. As the song starts to kick in, spot lights shine at the arena's stage, revealing Katori Kimura who was wearing the hood of her jacket as the crowd starts to cheer loudly for the Mighty Successor whom starts to wave at the fans in the audience. Once the lyrics kick in, Katori takes off her hood and starts to make her way down the entrance ramp towards the ring, doing her usual routine of giving high fives and fist bumps to the fans as she walks. As Katori climbs up the apron and vaults over the top ropes to enter the ring, the angel looks over towards her opponent and gives her a friendly but competitive smirk while going over her corner, never taking her sights off her or breaking eye contact.

Katori heard a bit about Cali when the match was set up, hearing that the woman was in a similar situation as her with being a student to a veteran wrestler. Already Katori knows this night was gonna be fun, anyone who was a promising student of a mentor wrestler is guaranteed to put on a good show in the ring, and would certainly be a worthy rival for the Mighty Successor of Wrestle Angels.

"This is going to be such a fun experience tonight, my chest won't stop beating." Katori says aloud as she step hops on her feet then does some last minute warm up stretches before the match starts, her smirk getting wider and more excited and eager in both her expression and her eyes.

"Try not to let your head get stuck in the clouds." Cali teased. She walked towards the center of the ring to meet her opponent.

"From one protege to another, let's give a hell of a show." Cali extended a hand for a shake before the rigning of the bell.

Katori did some last minute stretches with her arms and legs before the match, already feeling great until seeing her opponent making her way to the center of the ring. The Wrestle Angel smiles as she follows suit, joining Cali at the middle. "You don't have to worry about me, my head is more clear whenever I'm wrestling." Katori said with a chuckle.

The blunette looked down at Cali's extended hand, surprised to see her opponent be the one to offer the shake. Usually it's her that starts it, but this is a nice change of pace. Katori rose her arm up and took the woman's hand in hers, accepting the handshake and giving it a strong and firm grip while giving Cali a friendly smile. "I intend to go all out, you better do the same. Here's to a good match."

Cali nodded "Then let's see what you can do!" Cali backed away from Kotori and the referee called for the bell. Once the match was started, Cali walked towards her opponent with her arms raised. She intended to lock up with Kotori in a collar and elbow tie up as a means to test her fellow protoge's strength.

Katori was thankful that the greetings went nicely between the two of them, as it will help show the fair sportsmanship during and after the match regardless who wins. With pleasantries out of the way, it was time for the friendly banter! "Oh, I'll show you plenty of what I got when I slam you into the mat!" Katori says as she backs away from Cali and gets into her stance, waiting for the ref-girl to start the match.

Once the gong rang, the match was underway! Katori moved forward and started to circle her opponent, waiting to see whether Cali makes the first move or if she will. But almost immediately, Cali came up and threw her arms at the angel to grapple with her, which Katori responded in kind and did the same to her, going in a Collar and Elbow lock up to test each other as well as try to overpower her opponent!

The Mighty Successor will use all she has to push against Cali while also leaning and tilting her upper body to try to unbalance her opponent as she grips at the arm around her neck. Unlike with the Test of Strength, the Collar and Elbow lock up doesn't really have rules to follow and so almost anything can happen in this grapple struggle.

Cali could feel Katori's strength push against her's, the two protege's locked in a stalemate with the collar and elbow tie up. The pair walked in circles in an attempt to gain control until Cali suddenly ducked down and slipped behind Katori. With arms around Katori's waist, Cali looked to lift her fellow protege into a german suplex.

Katori gave it her all to try and overpower Cali in this Collar and Elbow lock up, she wanted to start this match up strong and right and get the advantage early to ensure her victory in the long run. Neither girl would let up, as their prowess proved to be an equal match with no ground being made between the two proteges. But out of nowhere, Cali broke out of the lock up and slipped behind Katori and wrapped her arms around her waist and pressed her chest against her back!

The angel's eyes widen at the sudden tactic, as well as fearing what could be next for her. To try and throw her opponent off, Katori threw back a few elbows to try and make her release her, but Cali wasted no time at all as she already lifted the Mighty Successor up and over her and slammed Katori down hard with a German Suplex!

"Whoa! Ughh..!" Katori let out as she hit the mat, if Cali immediately lets go of her she'll roll onto her side before trying to push herself back up, but if the brunette holds on for the pin attempt she'll kick her legs out repeated before trying to throw herself and Cali to the side to break the pin!

Cali's suplex attempt was successful and showcasing her technical ability, Cali maintained the bridge as the referee moved to start the count

"One!"....

Despite Katori's attempts to break free from Cali's grip by throwing elbows back at her, the woman showed her endurance and strength by powering throw and successfully lift up the angel and slam her down with the German Suplex! It wasn't it for her though, as Cali kept them bridged and held Katori for the pin as the ref-girl came and started the count.

"One...!"

Right as the first count was made, Katori was kicking her legs out before throwing herself to the side to break out of the pin attempt before the ref was able to lift her hand up to make the second count. As Katori will push herself back up to her feet and take a few steps away from Cali before planning her next move.
