Videle Diavola vs Yasha Adachi

Videle's spirit was far more willing then the rest of her, at least for the moment. Her legs trembled visibly as she stood up, still disoriented from a blow that had nearly knocked her out cold. No sooner did she get to her feet did Yasha snare her wrist and whip the girl to the ropes. She found her footing as she ran, rebounding off the ropes...

...only to practically run right into Yasha's knee strike to her jaw. All Videle could do was get her hands up to blunt the impact, keeping the blow from outright nailing her in the chin and likely finishing her off. That was the good news. Unfortunately, instead of simply falling 'against' the ropes, her moment carried her right over them! Videle went careening to the floor, landing awkwardly on her right shoulder. "Aahh!" She grit her teeth against the pain and to stifle her own pained scream. The girl was hurt, but she was also mad, blue eyes glaring at Yasha as she began to force herself to stand as the referee began the count for a ring-out. At least the drop shocked her awake, but she didn't know if she'd be throwing many more punches with her right arm.

Yasha was able to connect her knee, and it managed to send Videle over the top rope and to the outside floor. Yasha felt bad that Videle landed awkwardly on her right shoulder. The match had to continue and Yasha knew what she had to do. Yasha would run back to the ropes behind her to rebound off of them to gain momentum before she'd jump over the ropes she was running toward for a Tope Suicida to try and keep the pressure on Videle. This was a high risk/high reward move, but missing it could give Videle a chance to get back in this match.

Videle was expecting something from Yasha, something big. Some wrestlers attacked methodically, pacing out there offensive, no wasted motion. Yasha, on the other hand, seemed to be one long offensive flurry that only stopped when something 'made' her stop. The only question was, would she be able to pull her rattled nerves together enough to do anything about it. She got to her feet just as she saw Yasha speeding towards her, leaping clear over the top rope and launching herself forward like a heat seeking missile.

Videle's reaction was as much instinct as anything, leaping up as Yasha came at her, twisting and lashing out with her left leg. If she timed it just right, she'd nail Yasha in the side of the head with an enziguri kick. If she was off, however, Yasha would likely plow right into her. Then again, they might still end up crashing into each other even if Videle's kick landed!

Yasha had already fully committed to the Tope Suicida and when she was falling toward Videle she'd get smacked by Videle's foot with an Enziguri Kick. The LAW crowd would react in shock that Videle was able to hit a counter like that on Yasha resulting in loud cheers from the crowd. However, the kick didn't stop Yasha's momentum as Yashha's body barreled over Videle, but Yasha was dazed on the outside of the trying to recollect herself after that kick. Yasha was in a bad way on the outside of the ring as the referee began to the count out count "1!..."

Videle had a moment, an ever so brief moment of pure elation as her perfectly timed kick collided with the side of Yasha's head. She'd done it. She'd actually pulled it off! Her kick hadn't stopped Yasha's momentum and her rival sailed right overhead as Videle fell...

And that's when the thrill vanished and Videle was painfully reminded of her counters downside. Once again she crashed, back first to the unforgiving arena floor, the impact jarring her injured shoulder painfully.

"Two! Three! Four!"

The ref was counting down. She had to get up... take advantage... but her aching body protested even the thought of moving. Slowly, she rolled over, trying to get to her knees.

Yasha was knocked for a loop with Videle's Enziguri connecting and smacking her out of the air. Yasha still laid on the outside floor trying to get her wits about her. At the count of 6 Yasha would begin to stir as she tried to get up to one knee to try to get back up to her feet so she could roll back into the ring. The LAW crowd would begin to rumble and repeatedly clap to try to rally both women to get back to their feet and re-enter the ring to continue this amazing match. It was clear they didn't want to see it end via count out.

By the count of 7, Videle had gotten to her feet and taken one staggering step towards the ring. She could feel the crowd, more then hear them. Her head was still ringing and their encouraging cheers were little more then background noise. She paused, glancing over her shoulder and it occurred to the young woman that she could attack Yasha and quickly escape into the ring, possibly leaving her opponent unable to climb back in herself before the final count.

Almost as soon as the thought occurred to her, it was dismissed. That was *not* how Videle Diavola fought. Instead, she did the exact opposite, returning to Yasha, seeking to grab the woman's arm and throw it over her good shoulder, attempting to half-carry, half-drag her own rival back to the ring. Accomplishing that, Videle would help push Yasha up and under the bottom rope before rolling underneath herself to lay gasping, staring up at the arena lights back inside the ring.

Videle would send Yasha back into the ring, and now both women were on the mat panting. Yasha was still a bit dazed from Videle's stellar counter, but she wasn't going to remain down. Yasha would start to will herself back to her feet slowly but surely. Yasha if made t to her feet she'd wait for her opponent to do the same so she could regain some stamina. Then Yasha would go back to her high octane offense by trying to send Videle down to the mat with a Sling Blade.

Videle was grateful, if nothing else, for the chance to catch a few seconds worth of breath as she was allowef to get to her feet. Despite the stunning counter attack outside the ring she still felt as if Yasha had been doing the most damage, at least that's what the myriad aches and pains told her. She needed to put her rival down and out before she completely ran out of steam.

Videle thought she saw her chance when Yasha rushed towards her, lashing out with her fist. Only, once again, Yasha wasn't there. She seemed gracefully avoid the blow, her Sling Blade driving Videle to the mat hard in one flowing movement.

"Ngh..." Videle groaned, momentarily stunned.

Yasha was able to connect with the Sling Blade but she wasn't able to capitalize on the initial impact. The smart decision would be to go for an immediate cover, but Yasha took a bit to catch her breathe after Videle's attack on the outside before crawling toward Videle's downed body and pressing her body on Videle's chest for a pinning attempt. It wasn't the most graceful pin attempt, but Yasha had to do something as she tried to regain her stamina. However, that brief time Yasha took to catch her breathe might make this pin attempt useless in an effort to try an end this match, but the former Rumble Rose had to try.
