Alisa Krupin vs. Raquel Masters

Raquel got Alisa down and was gonna gamble to keep her down! Sure it would be a huge crash and burn if it didn't work... but the crowd was gonna get theirs regardless. Raquel was exciting to watch if nothing else. The small woman got up and bolted towards the ropes, jumping onto the middle rope and spring boarding back, doing a springboard lionsault and hoping that Alisa was still laying there when she landed!

If this connected, it would be Raquel going for a quick pin on Alisa. If she hit nothing but mat, Alisa would be in a good spot to take control of the match. The pendulum was swinging, and the end results of Raquels gamble would show everyone the direction it swung!

Alisa would not be able to recover in time, and would look up to see her opponent almost ready to crash down upon her yet again. Raquel would use her speed to springboard on top of Alisa, and all that Alisa could do was try to bring her arms up a little and try to absorb what she could of the impact. With Raquel landing on her flush, Alisa would have the wind knocked out of her very briefly. With Raquel grabbing one of Alisa's legs, Alisa was now in danger of being pinned.

"1!.. 2!.."

With the referee just finishing the 2 count, Alisa would spring back to life and throw herself upward to break the pin. Trying to roll herself away from Raquel, Alisa would look to try to simply get herself back into the match at this point. With the crowd fairly heavily favoring her opponent, this might be the proper time to dig into the bag of tricks for when Raquel tried to continue the offensive.

"Whoa! Damn that was sorta close..." Raquel said as Alisa kicked out. The feisty Bostonian got back up to her feet, clapping in rhythm to get the crowd to clap along with her. She had the fans in her corner and grinned. It was hard to hide the excitement. As Alisa got up as well Raquel moved in and tried to step in to a couple hard, fast body punches on Alisa to continue her fast offensive spurt!

This was starting to get out of hand for Alisa. Raquel was gaining momentum and it seemed that it would only make her move faster around the ring as she continued to pick apart Alisa. This needed to stop and fast, but Alisa could not find a way to keep up with her opponent so far. Raquel would even go so far as being able to start getting the crowd worked up while Alisa herself would start to get back up after taking the moonsault and pinning attempt. So far Alisa was mostly getting beaten to the punch, and it was almost like a giant ball of irony that Raquel would close in and start raining blows aimed at Alisa's abdomen.

With Alisa already on her back foot as it were, she could try to just weather the storm but for some reason things seemed to be slowing down a little for her now. It was like Raquel was punching slower to the point that Alisa could tell where they were going to land and after absorbing a few shots it would be Alisa's chance to try and reach out for one of Alisa's arms as they would continually pepper Alisa's abdomen. If she could gain control of one of Raquel's arms it would serve two purposes. The first would be that Raquel would finally be stopped from hitting Alisa further. The second being that Alisa could gain control of Raquel's arm and try to twist it around into a fairly mundane but likely still effective armbar. Alisa had every intent of trying to ground this speedster, and if she could try to clip one of Raquel's wings in the process then all the better for her Alisa thought.

Well this certainly did not go as Raquel had planned! She stepped in to punch and her arms were caught by her foe! Before she could protest she was caught in an armbar! Submissions were not at all Raquel's strong point so instead of being in control her momentum was promptly halted!

She flopped and wriggled a bit in the hold, the crowd in awe as she was brought to such an abrupt stop."Ngh...l-let go!" She squealed while she was stuck in Alisa's clutches! Raquel wasn't sure of the most technical means of escape, however she was pretty certain that if she could pull and drag them closer to the ropes a rope break was a good, sure fire way to get free!

Raquel groaned and grit her teeth, trying to get to that rope..

Alisa had found her opening and would look to turn the tide of the match. Getting Raquel down to the ground, Alisa would start to work over the captured arm as Raquel was clearly in pain. Maybe it was sheer desperation of wanting to get out of the hold, but Raquel would start putting her efforts into getting herself out of the predicament in any way possible. Alisa was very likely the stronger of the two so Raquel was unlikely to be able to power her way out. The only real issue was if Alisa could get Raquel to possibly tap out before she was able to maneuver herself over toward the ropes.

With Alisa concentrating herself on cranking on Raquel's arm, Alisa would allow her to find her escape as Raquel would be able to make her way over to the ropes. The referee would start a count to break the hold and Alisa would use a good bit of it before she released Raquel along the ropes. Moving back toward the middle of the ring, Alisa would back herself away from Raquel and wait for her to get back up before deciding her next move.

Raquel grabbed the ropes... but Alisa didn't let go! "Ahhh! What the hell!?" Raquel shouted as the referee started a five count before Alisa let go. Raquel used the ropes to get back up to her feet, glaring at Alisa.

"That was cheap..." She hissed, speaking to Alisa's tactics. If she wanted to go about this match like that, fine. Raquel felt no obligation to be sporting herself. Raquel moved in at Alisa, reaching out to grab two fistfuls of her opponents hair. Raquel yanked up and then pulled down, looking to introduce Alisa's face to Raquel's rapidly rising knee!

Alisa would just shrug as Raquel protested when the hold was not immediately released. If she wanted to cheat, Alisa thought that she would keep going or just release the hold and then immediately do something else while Raquel was still down on the ropes. As Alisa backed away, she just as well figured that they were going to tie-up again as Raquel closed the distance. Alisa noticed way too late that Raquel seemed to snap for some reason and was easily overwhelmed as Alisa was caught off guard.

"You let go.." Alisa would try to say as Raquel went right for her hair. A clearly illegal move in plain sight. The protest was cut short as her head was yanked down into Raquel's knee. Alisa able only to react out of instinct and took almost the full force of the knee straight to her head. Springing backward as Raquel released her hair, Alisa would seemingly fly through the air as she crashed down to the mat. Alisa's eyes were rolling back in her head as she was clearly stunned by the knee. All but laid out on the mat, Alisa would be in no position to stop whatever Raquel was going to do next as she would need some time to recover from the knee that had knocked her loopy.

Seeing Alisa fall down rejuvenated Raquel. She saw a great opportunity in front of her, as well as a chance to use her knees again.

The small woman jumped up as high as she could and bent both legs as she looked to land with her knees first right on the chest of Alisa! If the previous attack jarred her foe, this would painfully flatten the wind out of her!

Alisa was not exactly in the best position as she laid prone on the mat. The knee strike she had just received would lay her out for a quick second. With everything still blurry, Alisa had no idea what was coming next as Raquel would come crashing down upon her one more time. Letting out a loud "OOPH!" Alisa would react as she had Raquel land on top of her. With the sharp pain causing Alisa to react out of instinct, she would try to roll away if she could. The ropes were not all that far away as they were still both nearby to the ropes as the action was mostly taking place around the edges of the ring right now. If Alisa could find her way out of the ring before Raquel could follow up then there was a chance she could recover, otherwise she was going to be further at the mercy of whatever her opponent had in mind.
