Bethany Hunter vs. Naomi Fujimoto - Powering Forward

Bethany Hunter would be having another match for tonight, and this time, she was determined to win this. She had been having quite a losings streak, and she wanted to break it so that she wouldn't have to get the 'honor' of being the one to fight for the Loser's Title. Already putting on her white-and-blue leotard, Bethany gave herself one last check-up before she made her way out of the locker room, waiting for her cue to make her entrance.

When she was given an okay to enter, Bethany made her way to the ramp where she got a modest pop from the crowd. While she might not be the most popular wrestler here, at the very least she still got quite a dedicated fanbase, no matter how small it was. She would walk down the ramp, heading over to the ring as she waved her hand to the crowd. The crowd cheered for her, loving the sight of the strawberry-blonde cutie.

Soon, Bethany arrived at the ring, and she would climb up the apron, rolling under the ropes. Then, she would get back up onto her feet, rousing the crowd some more, hoping to have them rally behind her despite her less-than-impressive win-loss ratio. After that, she would head over to a corner so that she could wait for her opponent to show up.

Naomi Fujimoto was finishing up preparations backstage locker room before her match. Naomi was a relative rookie around here, and had yet to firmly establish a name that carried weight to both the L.A.W. faithful and her peers. But, this had a simple fix, and as she got her cue once her opponent made her entrance she set out to do just that.

As her song blasted through the air, Naomi made her entrance to the ramp and while she lacked the noticeable pop Bethany had due to her name recognition and more exposure with ring work eyes had been trained to her and her eye catching attire all the same as Naomi had a pleased smirk on her face before she strutted her way to the ring. Passing only the occasional wink to the fans along the way which certain members of the crowd ate up.

Naomi would make her way to the ring, as she stepped over the middle rope as she struck a pose in the middle of the ring which stirred some reaction; one she hoped would increase with a victory today as she moved to the opposite corner of Bethany and greeted her opponent with a grin.

Bethany watched as her opponent for tonight, Naomi Fujimoto. The strawberry blonde cutie had a grim expression on her face, not knowing what to expect from the beauty whom she would face tonight.

She kept watching the black-haired beauty as she went to her corner. Bethany would take this opportunity to prepare herself by doing a little bit of stretches before the referee called for the two of them to the center of the ring.

"Let's have a good match..." Bethany told Naomi before she nodded to the referee, telling her that she was ready. When the bell was called, Bethany would then take a stance, preparing herself to grapple with her opponent before her.

Naomi had had her eyes trained on Bethany, noting her pre-match stretching which she had also taken the chance to do before the referee called them to the ring and after Naomi had signaled she was ready the bell sounded and the match would begin.

"But of course~" Naomi replied in competitive spirit and even gave a wink, though that might have been her playful side as she saw Bethany assume a grapple position and decided to meet her opponent head on. As she would advance and aim to begin the match with a lock up just to get a feel for Bethany in the early going.

Now that the match had commenced, Bethany would lock up with Naomi, looking to exert her strength while grappling with her. Grunting, she would try to pivot to the side, bring Naomi with her so that she could guide her opponent around.

She would try to overpower her opponent physically, though she wasn't sure whether it would work or not. For the time being, she would try to ascertain her opponent's strength first before she could decide on what to do next.

It seemed clear that Bethany's aim was to try and overpower Naomi in the early going as she quickly tried to pivot her body to the side, which had momentarily caused Naomi to shift...but Naomi was not about to be Bethany's ragdoll, not so easily anyway as she worked to try and firmly stick her feet to the ground to keep her position.

She would attempt to fight her attempt to pivot her to one side by making a pivot of her own to try and shift Bethany the opposite way as the early battle for leverage had began.

Bethany grunted when Naomi matched her movement, and the strawberry blonde cutie had to retain her footing in order to keep herself from being pushed back. She knew that she couldn't keep this forever, so she decided that she might as well try something drastic.

While Naomi was pushing against her, Bethany would try to give her own body a hard twist, hoping to suddenly break the lock-up between the two of them before she attempted to deliver a forearm smash right across the upper chest of her opponent!

And this sudden action would catch Naomi off guard, as she was a step to late to react to the sudden change in tactics as soon enough a forearm struck her chest and she stepped back as she clutched it in pain.

A cry escaped her lips as, for the moment anyway, it appeared that Bethany managed to succeed in placing pressure on her opponent as Naomi tried to recover quickly.

Bethany successfully landed a forearm smash across Naomi's chest, and she knew that she managed to gain an opportunity to continue with her momentum. Seeing Naomi reeling back, Bethany decided to rush forward, looking to grab her body before attempting to lift her up and throw her down into the mat with a body slam.

A body slam might be a simple wrestling move, but it still could deliver quite a damage on her opponent. And she needed to weaken her opponent first before she could bust out a more devastating move on her.

Naomi had reacted a step too late to Bethany's advance, and before long the woman managed to successfully lift her up overhead as she was slammed tot he canvas with authority. "Gah!"

On impulse, Naomi rolled away from the impact spot to the corner, as her immediate plan was to try and use it to pull herself up though whether she could before Bethany could follow up her slam remained to be seen.
