The Amazon vs. The Mighty One

"Wha..no no!" Alaina howled as she flailed but was unable to escape Yukikos secure grip! Alaina was taken back by how hard the slam impact was, howling in pain with a look of pure surprise etched in her face as she laid on her back weakly kicking the mat once as she looked up at the lights, the crowd roaring as Yukiko stunned Alaina!

Yukiko posed after hitting the scoop slam, beaming with confidence! She usually wasn't this cocky, but both the thrill of slamming her childhood idol and hearing the adoration of the crowd warranted a small celebration! Looking down at the stunned Amazon, Yukiko figured now was the time to finish her off! Heading back to the top rope, Yukiko gave one last taunt to the fans, her back to Alaina! This time spent taunting was risky, but Yukiko figured Alaina would stay down...

Alaina saw Yukiko stand over her and play to the crowd before turning her back and climbing the rope. Little did Yukiko know but as soon as her back turned Alaina was getting up and fast!

Yukiko climbed and Alaina run under her legs turning and facing Yukiko. "Where are you going?" Alaina said as she sent a shot up into Yukikos abdomen and climbed up to the middle rope. Alaina grabbed onto Yukikos legs and had her set up on Alaina's shoulders as the amazon stood on the middle rope facing the center of the ring. Alaina grunted as she stepped up holding Yukiko and showing incredible balance as she moved to the top rope, quickly trying to amabomb Yukiko from way up there to the middle of the ring!

Yukiko was about ready to flip off the top rope for a second, and most likely final, Mightysault, only to be met with the face of Alaina suddenly appearing from between her legs!

"H-how-" was all Yukiko could let out before being met with a shot to her stomach! Slumping over, Yukiko's hands met the Amazon's shoulders as she was lifted off the top rope; now on top of Alaina's shoulders as she stood on the second rope! Yukiko's eyes widened as she realised what Alaina was going for; the crowd beginning to get worried! "No... no... NO!!!" Yukiko cried out as she desperately tried to wiggle out, but it was too late! Now standing on the top rope, Alaina suddenly threw Yukiko down; the arms of the burning ace falling to her sides as she fell through the air, accepting her fate.

*BANG* a sickening thud rang through the air as Yukiko collapsed onto the canvas; her body bouncing once in the air from the Impact before ragdolling back down. Her head was too the side, eyes closed; her arms and legs spread out and limp. It had to be over.

Alaina had Yukiko, there was no way she could kick out of an amabomb let alone one from the top rope! Alaina rolled to Yukiko's side and laid across her upper chest, reaching down to hook a leg and pull it way up to where Alaina was laying. The referee immediately slid into place and began to count!

"One! Two!" The first couple counts came and Alaina kept the pin locked in and hoped that Yukiko would stay down. Alaina looked down at Yukiko as she waited for the final count to come. "Not bad Yukiko... but I am still a force to be reckoned with inside the ring." Alaina said quietly to her foe, feeling worn out and hurt from the match. Kicking out of a mightysault was no easy feat and to call it very taxing on the amazon was a gross understatement.

Now to see if Yukiko would stay down or if she had more fight in her...

A normal Amabomb would have been enough of a finishing blow; but one from the top rope? Forget about it! Yukiko was fortunate her spine hadn't broken as she laid on the mat unconscious. She had pushed the Amazon to her limit, but her best simply wasn't good enough this night. Her eyes opened slightly as the ref slapped his hand for the two, looking up at Alaina pinning her and only letting out a small, pained groan in response.

She still had some fight left in her, but her body was done.

"THREE!"

DING DING DING

The crowd let out a large cheer in respect of both Yukiko and Alaina, both women having put on a classic that will be talked about for years to come! While some fans were disappointed that their hero Yukiko didn't emerge victorious, most were willing to give the veteran Amazon her proper dues! Admist all this celebration and adoration, however, laid Yukiko, emotions swirling around her head as she had to admit one thing to herself.

She lost.

Alaina heard the bell and rose to her feet, holding her hands high as she hobbled arpund the ring, her victory lap looking like the victor had been run through the loop.

That was true. Alaina had won, but took a lot of punishment from Yukiko who had nearly beaten the amazon a couple times. Gasping for breath Alaina made her way to Yukiko and extended her hand to help her up. "Damn you are good, every bit as good as I expected."

Yukiko continued to lay on the canvas as Alaina went up to her and extended a hand, complementing her on her performance! Such a display of respect from the veteran was an honor to receive, and Yukiko would have been a fool not to accept it!

"Thanks... you-you're still as formidable as you were way back when..." Yukiko would say as she took Alaina's hand and got to her feet, keeping her hold on the legend's hand to give a firm, respectful handshake. "We'll meet again someday... I can feel it,"
