Match Type: Standard Match Rules: Victory by submission, pinfall, or knockout

As the stage was cleared, the ring announcer turned to the crowd to lead in towards the next match - one that was to be the singles debut of one of its competitors. The lights dimmed on the ring as everyone's eyes turned to the entrance ramp, waiting to see who would descend it.
"Coming first to the ring! At 5'5 and weighing 114 pounds, from Tokyo, MOLLY FORSTER!" AppearanceEntrance Music
Such a name did, of course, seem rather out of place for the location she was billed from - a fact that was soon compounded when a blonde girl made her way towards the ring, beaming with a smile on her face and a spring in her step. It became quite apparent that even if Tokyo might have been Molly's current place of residence, it likely wasn't where she was born. Either way, though, it seemed to be a place she felt quite at home in, as she eagerly hopped up into the ring and struck a pose, flashing a peace sign into the crowd. Spoiler"Goooooood evening, everyone!" Molly spoke, in impeccable Japanese, albeit with a quite noticeable Liverpool accent. "I'm honored to be in front of you all today! It really means a lot to me to be here now - I've dreamed of going to Japan ever since I was a little girl, and now here I am. And I owe it all to you for having me! Thank you all sooooo much!!" She hopped up and down a little in her exuberance, which drew a couple of blank stares. Nevertheless, she continued.
"I've been in the ring many times before, with my sister back home in England. We make a good team together, for sure - but this'll be my first time going at it alone. Believe me, though...I'm not scared! I'm going to do my best, and I'm sure I'll do a great job!"
That was a bit of a lie. In truth, Molly was a little scared. Every time she'd wrestled before, it had been on a team with Chelsea, who was her trainer as much as she was her tag team partner, and she'd been there to support her and show her the ropes, as well as to help cover her for times she fell a little bit short. Now, though, she didn't have that to fall back on, and she didn't know what she'd do. Molly was pretty sure she knew what to do - but the possibility that she didn't was still there, and if that was the truth, she had no idea how to respond. She just had to do the best she could. All the same, her typical optimistic and bubbly attitude was still about her, as she came to one side of the ring, watching for her opponent to make an arrival.
And her opponent! Making her way to the ring at 5'1" weighing in at 115 pounds. From Tokyo, Japan...MIKA YURIKO! Spoiler
As the theme music blasted through the arena, the energetic lightweight practically sprinted out to the stage as she gazed upon the cheering crowd with wide-eyed excitement. It was an experience she had yet to really soak in, as she was a relative newcomer to the roster with not much more experience than her opponent but the modest pop was still enough to send a shiver down her spine. Mika would hop her way towards the ring, going back and forth with hi fives to certain fans along the way before she slipped through the bottom rope and jumped up to strike a twin "V for victory" sign to the crowd.
Heeeyyyyyy everyone! Thank you all so much, this is too exciting and I promise to do my best to give each of you a show! Mika siad with enthusiasm, though she had kept her pre-match pitch to the crowd a bit shorter than her opponent as she bounced by her corner and gave a friendly wave to Molly.
Best of luck, let's make this one to remember!" Mika said as she displayed some warm sportsmanship to Molly and wished her opponent good luck even if her competitive spirit shined through all the same. Spoiler
As she watched her opponent make her way to the ring, Molly started to swing her arms at her side, mostly to limber up, but she also had nervous energy that she needed to vent. She wasn't sure what to expect from her first match on her own - but equally as strong was the anticipation, as she could hardly wait to get the action started! She could see the energy in Mika as she made her way down to the ring, and the similarities between the two lightweights were hardly lost on Molly - both in appearance and in general attitude. A grin spread over her face as she watched Mika strike a pose quite similar to her own. This was going to be fun, she was sure.
Seeing Mika wave to her from the corner, Molly was quick to return the gesture, hopping up and down a little in her corner. "Thank you!" Molly replied, starting to draw closer to her in the center of the ring. "I'm gonna do my best!" She offered a high-five to Mika, just as the bell rang.
"So am I! Let's give these people a show and tear the roof off this place!"
Mika responded with some energetic enthusiasm, and eagerly answered the hi five call from Molly as she sensed this was gonna be a lot of fun, but as the bell rang Mika was here to prove she meant business as well as she would quickly shift into a grappler's stance while she eyed Molly closely as if she expected her to make a move right away.
Then, she held her hands up and seemed to invite Molly for a test of strength, something that could help get a feel for her opponent and her strength which would be important given they were about the same weight. Spoiler
Getting into a stance of her own, Molly kept a close eye on Mika, monitoring every move she made so as to better prepare herself for the moment the two of them would collide. She nodded to Mika as she raised her hands in turn, mirroring her gesture with precision, and began to draw in closer to her. She took her hands in a silent agreement to bring on the fight.
Just as soon as she had accepted the test of strength, however, Molly looked up at Mika, a grin crossing her face with thoughts of what she would do next. Almost immediately, she lunged in with a shove, trying to start things off with a bang as she threw her full weight in against Mika.
As Molly seemed to accept Mika's test of strength, she felt her hands reach for hers as she would clasp around them just as Molly had with hers, and within that moment Molly immediately went to work and pushed with her fully body weight.
Mika had been prepared for this, as she seemed to share the same idea and pushed with all her might at the same time. The two lightweights pushed and as Mika struggled she seemed to gain no ground...but managed to avoid being pushed back herself as she pushed back with her full might to both keep her ground and even try to gain some though they appeared near evenly matched in raw power. Spoiler
Molly thought that she could start things off strong out of the gate, lunging in towards Mika and using the momentum behind her to translate into a rough shove that might catch her off-guard or get her off her feet. To her surprise, though, her opponent seemed to have the same idea, as she caught Molly head-on, pushing back at her with similar force. The Briton went bending back over at the waist as she buckled against the oncoming shove, just managing to stabilize her footing as she bit her lip and winced. But she was able to right herself, coming back at Mika with another push.
What was starting to dawn on her, though, was how Mika seemed well a match for her in terms of physical strength. A contest like this might not allow her much in the way of gaining an advantage, at least not early on. Changing her tactics while she still had a hold on Mika, Molly instead decided to pull back on her wrist, trying to throw her weight to the side to fling her towards the ropes in the hopes of catching her off her balance.
Mika had been focused on this test of strength, determined to try and get whatever edge she could even if it seemed destined to remain dead even. But this single minded focus proved a bit costly, as Molly was able to take advantage as she shifted and pulled against her waist as Mika stumbled a bit and was flung to the ropes. An almost comical "eep" escaped her lips.
Mika flopped to the side, but even if it had not been graceful she tried to make the most of this. Working to go with the momentum and even build on it as she would try to bounce off the ropes and look to counter with a running shoulder block on Molly. Spoiler
"Whoo!" Pleased with her effort, Molly let out a little cheer for herself as she watched Mika go running into the ropes across from her, shifting her weight as she broke the lockup in order to fling her opponent across the ring. She hopped up a little in place, throwing a fist in the air as if in celebration. But Molly wasn't considering that the match had only just begun, and that she could perhaps save such festivities for afterwards.
Molly had thought that with Mika thrown into the ropes, she might be able to run in and take advantage of this, preparing to hit her on the rebound. But just as she was coming back towards Mika, she found out a moment too late that her foe was also using the momentum to her advantage, and she would be the first to strike before Molly was able to prepare herself. The shoulder block striking her, Molly went staggering back a few steps, dazed but so far not out of it.
"All right!" Mika called out, much as Molly had done before, satisfied that her shoulder tackle landed though only slightly miffed that Molly had remained standing in spite of the blow. Seemed Mika lacked the ump from the make-shift attack to fully take her down, but Molly had staggered and was dazed enough for Mika to try another tactic to take her down to the canvas.
Mika would quickly work to follow up her shoulder tackle as she would jump up and go for a dropkick aimed for Molly's chest, an effort to really knock Molly on her back as Mika tried to put in some force with this before Molly had a chance to find her footing again. If Mika could get an early edge in the match that might be just the thing to tip the scale in her favor so she wanted to make the most of this opening. Spoiler
