Asuka Hisashi vs. Thunder Ryuko

Submission match. Victory can only be achieved by causing your opponent to tap out, verbally submit, pass out, or be disqualified.

Asuka was finally back in the LAW locker rooms. She'd been off doing her own thing at other promotions, a number of conventions, and lazing around at home streaming video games and harassing as many LAW lightweights on social media as she could find, in her usual goofy and lighthearted way, while giving her long-time friend Clara Gaster particular attention. It was almost disappointing to discover that her first match back wouldn't be with one of her victims, but with the long-time veteran middleweight powerhouse and heart-poundingly sexy Ryuko Yoshida!

She left the locker rooms dressed in her recent-favourite bright blue & yellow leotard attire, which would nicely create a visual opposite to Ryuko's dark black and red getup. Her entrance music hit just in time, and she made her way out onto the ramp and down towards the ring, with the arena being totally sold out and filled as is pretty typical for one of Asuka's matches, something that had caused a logistical nightmare for some smaller tourneys she'd participated in that weren't used to some tens of thousands of spectators.

After giving the closest audience members high-fives, and posing for a couple photos, Asuka discovered a pair of familiar faces at ringside in the form of the Gaster sisters. The audience cheered at the find, realising a pair of their own favourites had been among them the whole time. In typical fashion, Asuka leaned over the barrier to drag Clara into a very aggressive kiss, and then gave the same treatment to her sister. Clara made an effort to keep Asuka from getting away, while Alice was taken completely by surprise, almost trying to push Asuka away if Clara hadn't restrained her sibling.

Asuka quickly moved away with a smirk, and slipped under the bottom rope and hopped up to her feet, quickly jogging across the ring to let herself bounce against the far ropes, coming to a halt by the side of the referee. Strangely, the referee was rather small, about the same height as Asuka and probably only a few pounds heavier. This seemed to be a first for Asuka's matches.

With the lights dimming, and the crowd mostly quieting, all eyes were set on the ramp again to see the Empress make her appearance.

Ryuko was ready and eager to keep making her mark felt in LAW. Today she was facing a lightweight but Ryuko was not going to go easy on her. Size was irrelevant. If she was set up to face Ryuko she must clearly be skilled! Clad in her usual wrestling attire the thunder empress began to make her way out into the arena once her music began to play!

She strolled confidently down the ramp waving a couple times to the crowd but keeping her eye on Asuka. She was substantially smaller so Ryuko wanted to keep the pace slow, keep the woman grounded. Grind her down and then slap her in some holds after she had worn down Asuka.

She climbed into the ring, settling in her corner while waiting for the bell eager to keep her winning ways going in LAW!

As Ryuko made her entrance, Asuka stood by the referee's side, smiling at Ryuko but remaining in the center of the ring rather than moving to her own corner as you'd typically expect. The audience was very excited to see Ryuko appear, especially after seeing the difference in size between the two wrestlers for themselves. It was one thing to read statistics, and another to see them in person.

Once the older wrestler was in the ring, Asuka gave her a wave in greeting, but wasn't given much of a chance to speak to her before the fight. The referee motioned for and instructed Asuka to go back to her corner, but the crew at ringside mis-interpreted and rang the bell early. Asuka took a step back, but then moved forwards again to try and claim as much space as possible. With some luck, she might even trap Ryuko in her corner, though the chances of keeping her there were incredibly low.

Ryuko gave Asuka a polite nod but nothing more. As she readied herself the bell rang and the small woman was rushing forward! Ryuko was surprised but not totally caught off guard by the development. She braced herself, lifting one foot high into the air and looking to counter the rushing Asuka with a big boot right to the face to start off the matchup! Ryuko was incredibly confident in herself tonight so much so that she didn't see a need to be fancy or overly creative. Keep it simple, keep it slow paced, keep it hard hitting. The big boot epitomized this philosophy that she brought to the ring tonight against Asuka.

Ryuko just hoped that the little speed demon wasn't quick to react, the last thing the thunder empress wanted was for her to dodge or even worse counter her opening offense!

Ryuko's response made it quite plain and clear to Asuka that she didn't care how much or little space she was given, she was big enough just to take it anyway. "Hnnnf!" At least Asuka was able to get her arms up in time, but Ryuko's boot collided with the smaller wrestler with enough force to send her staggering away, only remaining on her feet because the ropes caught her just in time.

The ropes threw her back inwards, and she jogged with the momentum around the edge, giving up the center of the ring to the Empress and shaking her arms to cover up the pain. She brushed her hair out of her eye with one hand, and ducked down into a more common wrestling stance as she circled. If Ryuko didn't attack first, she'd dash forwards to close the distance, leaping up high and bringing her knee up fast in an attempt to strike Ryuko straight in the jaw!

If she succeeded, she hoped the larger woman would be at least stunned enough for Asuka to tackle her to the canvas, sit on the Empress' lap, and force her to lean forwards into a guillotine choke/bodyscissor combo! It maybe wasn't a good idea to grapple with someone so strong, but the match type required it, so she had to try.

Ryuko was angered at herself for not taking Asuka down, and that anger quickly turned into agony as Asuka rushed forward and caught her with a running knee! Ryuko's head snapped back as she staggered and her embarrassment grew as the much smaller Asuka tackled her to the mat! the crowd roared as Ryuko hit the mat hard, and Asuka tried to wrap her up and choke her!

"L-lucky little brat!" Ryuko said as she choked, coughing and trying to get Asuka off of her! Ryuko tried to punch away at Asuka, even swinging her head back to try to headbutt the smaller woman in an effort to break free of her hold! If that all failed she would try to simply use her strength to power her way out! Ryuko needed to get out, and didn't want Asuka to look dominant early against her as the crowd was already behind Asuka.

Just as it looked like all had gone flawlessly for the younger wrestler, with Ryuko down on her butt and stretched forwards into a tight, flawlessly applied guillotine choke, things went quite wrong and Asuka's big opening counter was made entirely null and void by Ryuko's quick thinking and oppressive power. Asuka scooted her waist in until she was sitting belly-to-belly with the bigger woman, and started to wrap her legs around her for the bodyscissor.

Instead, Ryuko started swinging punches at Asuka's now-vulnerable midsection. The first missed, but the second came not long at all afterwards. Perhaps due to her extensive experience in the ring, or maybe just by dumb luck, it hit such a soft and sensitive spot and with such power that Asuka screamed. Her left leg violently shook, and she was so convinced she was about to vomit that she completely released Ryuko to wrap her arms over her own belly and pant for air. Things did not look good!

Asuka let go of Ryuko and the big woman knelt next to the downed lightweight. "Time to teach you a lesson isn't it?" Ryuko said as she raised her fists up, clasping them together as she tried to bring them both crashing down across Asuka's mid-section with a big axe handle smash! Ryuko wanted to leave Asuka stunned, figuring that if she could find a way to keep Asuka down that the small woman would stay down! Ryuko also had to make her submit which wasn't exactly her specialty although he had a very good technical base to build off of.

She was fully confident in her ability to absolutely destroy this woman though and the softening up of Asuka was to begin immediately!

The smaller wrestler was in a bit of a bad spot, but having felt the power of Ryuko's fast, more desperate punches, she decided she'd rather not find out what it felt like to get hit when the Empress had chance to perform a huge wind-up. Waiting until just the right moment, as Ryuko began to swing her hands downwards, Asuka rocked back onto her shoulders and brought her knees up, quite cleverly having Ryuko's clenched fists land harmlessly on her knee pads.

"Not much I can learn from you!" she'd taunt back.

As soon as she felt the impact, she'd try to quickly swing her left foot up high to thump her opponent in the back of the skull, hoping to stun her long enough for the lightweight to rock forwards, and then quickly swing back again onto one hand, and cartwheel a short distance to safety. She wouldn't have much room left, as she'd be closer to the ropes with Ryuko holding the middle of the ring, but it was better than having the powerful woman on top of her.

Ryuko's hands hit Asuka's kneepads but that served only to annoy the thunder empress. Gritting her teeth she was about to reach for Asuka, hoping to grab her by the hair and pound her face into putty but a sharp strike to the back of her head elicited a loud scream and she slumped forward onto her hands and knees as Asuka performed an acrobatic escape.

"Shut your cocky little mouth you bratty punk!" Ryuko screamed as she stumbled up to her feet. She was an established wrestler trying to show LAW brass that she was among the best they had yet this little streaming queen was taking the fight to her and making her look like a fool! The thought of that just served to further anger Ryuko. She made her way back over to Asuka, trying to move in and grab hold of her, hoping to grasp her by an arm with her left hand. If possible Ryuko was going to pull her towards her body and her extended right arm to hammer her to the mat with a short arm clothesline!
