Onigashima vs. The SoCal Connection - Ogre Invasion!

Shizuka grinned when she managed to deliver the kick right into Kayla's gut, causing her to double over in pain, clutching her stomach that was struck by the red oni earlier. Showing a toothy smile, she would reach out to grab onto Kayla's head, pulling her closer so that she could trap her into a front facelock. She would plant her feet on the mat as she would reach out for the waist of Kayla's shorts, while at the same time, she would move Kayla's nearest arm, draping them over the back of her neck.

"Oryaahhh!!!" Shizuka let out a big battle cry as she would try to heave Kayla up, looking to throw her over with a vertical suplex. She would hold her opponent in a vertical position for two seconds before falling backwards, slamming Kayla back first into the mat. And upon impact, she would release her hold so that she could look at her opponent to see if the move managed to deal some damage or not.

Bent over forward from the impact of Shizuka's knee against her gut, Kayla would be stunned, still clutching her gut and doubled over at the waist. She would only be there for a short while, however, as she would soon find herself straightened back upwards as Shizuka yanked up on her head. Kayla's cry of surprise was drowned out by the red oni's battle cry as she went sailing back through the air to land on the mat behind her.

Kayla was dizzy upon landing, needing a moment to clear the cobwebs from her head and gather her surroundings. Having been suspended in midair had allowed the blood to rush to her head, and now after making impact she found herself still coming back to reality.

"Come on, Kayla, you got this!" Ash called out from her corner, her words cutting through the air and the haze that surrounded her partner. This was all Kayla needed to be roused out of her daze, and she hoped to start crawling away to put distance between herself and Shizuka. However, she had yielded her opponent the time to take advantage of their positions, and for all she knew, she might find herself in even deeper waters.

Shizuka threw Kayla over with a vertical suplex, keeping her in vertical position for a bit before falling backwards, bringing her opponent back first onto the mat. "Hehe..." Shizuka laughed a little as she would get herself back up onto her feet, looking at Kayla who seemed to be disoriented after being thrown down onto the mat earlier. Seeing this opportunity to maintain her dominance, the red oni would bend down, grabbing onto Kayla before pulling her back up onto her feet in preparation for her next move.

Holding Kayla by her wrist, Shizuka would then attempt to send her running towards the corner with an Irish whip, and hoping to see her crashing into the turnbuckle, the red oni planned to follow after her, looking to deliver a corner splash, using her weight to deal some damage on her opponent.

Kayla had hoped that she might be able to get herself back up in time to evade taking punishment from Shizuka's next move - but it wasn't to be. She was still groggy from the fall she had taken, and even now the effects were showing themselves. She would find herself unable to get back up on her own; instead, Shizuka would pull her to her feet herself before she had fully found her footing. Shaken, Kayla groaned under her breath, but would soon feel the momentum behind her as she was thrown into the corner!

She went running, landing against the turnbuckle with a groan and looking back just in time to see Shizuka charging straight for her. However, Kayla wasn't about to lay down and take this, and she knew that she would have to do something now to avoid getting beaten down. Acting fast, she went to duck down and slip underneath Shizuka's legs as she came in closer, hoping to get behind her so that she would charge into the turnbuckle instead.

Sending Kayla towards the ropes with an Irish whip, Shizuka would try to follow it up with a corner splash as she would charge towards her opponent, looking to crash into her cornered body. But much to her surprise, Kayla managed to move away from the corner as she ducked down and slipped underneath her legs. And thanks to her momentum, Shizuka was unable to stop herself, and as a result, she ended up hitting the turnbuckle, chest first!

"Ughhh!!!" Shizuka's brow scrunched up in pain as she crashed chest first into the turnbuckle. The collision caused her breathing difficulty, leaving herself unable to move away from the corner as she tried to regain her breathing. Leaning against the turnbuckle, she would clutch onto the top ropes, wheezing as her back was exposed to Kayla who managed to avoid her attack. "Guuuhhh..."

Kayla knew that for a move like this she would have to act quickly, and time was of the essence. Shizuka wouldn't waste any time in coming back for her. But in that split second, Kayla got down to duck under her charging opponent, and slipped underneath her legs just in time, leaving the red-painted oni to take the full force of the blow.

As Ashley cheered on her partner's move, Kayla started to get back up, rolling to one knee as she took a breath and wiped a strand of hair out of her face. Then, getting back on her feet, she turned around to see that Shizuka was still winded from the impact she had taken. Which meant she was wide open. Grinning to herself, Kayla strode over towards Shizuka before she would go to grab her by the arms, hooking them back to try and pull them away from the ropes as she went for a nelson hold! "I don't think so!"

Shizuka crashed chest-first into the turnbuckle, and she was having trouble breathing thanks to the collision. She grimaced in pain as she grabbed onto the top ropes connected to the turnbuckle. She tried her best to recover from the damage, but before she could do anything, Kayla was already moving in to grab her by her arms and pull her away from the corner. "Aahhh!!!" Shizuka yelped when she was pulled away before she was subjected to a nelson hold.

"L-let me go!" Shizuka began squirming in her attempt to break free, stomping her feet a few times in order to defy her opponent. But she still remained trapped, thus leaving her under the mercy of Kayla. "Nnnghhhh..."

Meanwhile, Yukari, who was at their corner, tried her best to cheer for her partner despite her predicament. "S-Shizuka-chan, you can do it!" She tried to encourage her partner from their corner, hoping that the red oni would be able to overcome the hurdle that she was facing at the moment.

Shizuka was definitely fighting against Kayla's best efforts to keep her safely under control, and the brunette found herself staggering in place, her body bending and twisting to try and keep up with Shizuka's motions. As the red-painted girl stomped her feet, she was shaken a little, threatening to lose her hold, but luckily she didn't. She grit her teeth and pulled Shizuka in closer, not daring to let her go, as she straightened herself and held on even tighter.

Hearing Yukari's words, however, Kayla wasn't sure how long she could keep this up, and while she had held firm this time, Shizuka had shown her what she was capable of in a situation like this. Not wanting to test things any further, Kayla decided it was about time for her to change her plans. Fortunately, she was well set up for her next move - as, still holding onto her arms, she would bridge her back to throw Shizuka behind her with a dragon suplex!

Shizuka grunted as she struggled against Kayla's full nelson, her modest chest thrusting forward as her body wiggled in her attempt to escape the hold. Hearing Yukari's words did motivate her somewhat, but it still wasn't enough to help her escape the full nelson.

And then, she could tell that something was happening, and before she could stop her opponent, Shizuka was then hoisted up and thrown over her opponent with a dragon suplex. "UWAGHHHH!!!" Shizuka cried out in pain, landing on the back of her shoulders and head, leaving her disoriented and in pain.

Her body was folded thanks to the dragon suplex, and this left her vulnerable before whatever Kayla would do next. Yukari was watching from their team's corner, trying her best to restrain herself from jumping in and helping her partner.

As Ashley cheered on the impressive display from her partner, Kayla turned back around to face Shizuka after throwing a quick wave back Ash's way. Now that she had gotten her opponent on her back, she was ready to take advantage of such a position, and it looked like she was just in the right place to do so.

"Okay, let's see what we can do here!" Kayla announced, walking back over to close in on Shizuka. She had definitely seen the speed with which the oni had come at her, and she knew that she would have to address that if she wanted to stand a chance. Luckily, Shizuka being on her back right now had bought Kayla time to act, and she wasn't about to pass that up. Hoping to whittle down her foe's stamina and make it harder for her to use her agility to her advantage, Kayla bent down to pick up one of Shizuka's legs, hoping to work at it with an ankle lock!
