Personality:
Seri is a bit on the reserved side. She doesn’t like long conversations, or talking for that matter. She would much rather get straight into the action if she can help it. Although she does not speak very much, her face and body language tend to be really expressive. So expressive, in fact, that she often doesn’t even need to speak, as the expressions along usually get her point across very clearly.
She is a very big fan of the Sun, mostly due to not being able to see it much growing up as a kid.
History:
Seri was born to a Chinese mother and an American father in an extremely poor part of China. Although no one has ever told her why her parents were there in the first place, she was still loved and cared for all the same.
However, once thing that was clear is that her family was beyond poor. Both her parents worked in sweat shops day in and day out. The amount of smoke in the air from all the factories and other facilities not only blotted out the Sun, but also caused many health problems for the people who lived there.
Between the smoke and the never-ending work that the sweat shops demanded, both her parents’ bodies gave out, and they both passed away no long after each other. With both her family members gone, Seri was forced to fill the hole they left behind. This would continue for another year, until she was rescued at the age of 7 by an old man.
This old man took her away from the horrid slums that she was stuck in and brought her all the way to America, where he officially adopted her as his own child. At first, she would barely interact with him. However, as he continued to show his caring and friendliness, as well as his love for Pro Wrestling, she eventually opened up to him.
She found that it was difficult to talk since she never did it much to begin with, and the 7 years of breathing in polluted air didn’t help either. Her throat just hurt whenever she used it. She could understand Chinese, though, and with the old man’s help, she could soon understand English too.
Still, the lack of communication didn’t stop them from bonding together. Every night, the old man would put on his favorite re-runs of an old wrestling show, and the two would watch it together. Soon he would even start watching some of the more recent wrestling shows too. It was what brought them together, and continued to keep them close over the next few years.
But the man was already old, and by the time Seri was 16 years old, he had passed away from old age. His death saddened her greatly, as he had been more of a family member than anyone had ever been to her before. In memory of him, she took on his last name: Charleston, as well as his greatest passion: wrestling.
In the years that followed, Seri made it her business to increase her fitness level, train herself up, and aim to become an actual Pro Wrestler. Finally, after many years of training, she was finally ready to put herself out there. Learning of a few great opportunities in Japan, she settled on one that looked promising: LAW.
Where will her career in LAW take her? Will she truly be able to make her adoptive grandfather proud? Only time will tell, here at LAW.
