Lindsay Queen vs. Mika Yuriko

Unread post by godjacob »

"Alright, alright. A big match ahead of us, gotta win it to pick up momentum and make a mark."
"Indeed, so don't get sloppy again. Don't want our name around backstage to be that clutz."
"Hey don't blame me alone for those tendencies!"
"But how can I not? I don't make stupid mistakes."
"My behind. Whatever let's just show these people a future star!"

Sitting alone in the locker room, Mika gave her self motivating talk as she shifted tones between her own "Platinum" face personality and the more heel "Trinity" personality as she worked to hype herself up. She had a big singles match against a girl named Lindsay Queen. Mika was eager to use this as a chance to really make her mark and build on momentum towards getting her feet planted here and getting those wins. The girl was aparently in a higher weight class but "Platinum" was proud to try and build a giant killer moniker and the truth was she had to expect multiple matches where she'd be playing with that disadvantage. But this did nothing to shake Mika's confidence as with a nod the newcomer jumped up and began to make her way to the entrance area.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is set for one fall. Introducing first, Mika Yuriko!"

The announcer gave her introduction as the crowd cheered; Mika had not gotten the experience or fan far given her relative inexperience on the L.A.W. stage to be a big fan favorite or heel or anything but it was better than silence as Mika bounced on stage and gave a way to the crowd. This energy carried over as she skipped down the entrance ramp and climbed the stairs before she climbed over the ropes and rolled into the ring before she struck a twin rock star sign pose.

She tripped a bit, but had not fallen flat on her face and still struck the pose. Though not with as much grace as she hoped as she tried to shake it off; moving to the corner to wave to the crowd and pose before she would turn to wait in said corner for her opponent.

"OK win or lose, I am going to look good. In the ring good not for the pictures good. Actually both would be fine." Lindsay looked at herself in the mirror checking if her face and attire was pristine for her next match. She didn't know much about her opponent besides her name, so she could be in for something on the unusual side for today's match. The model attended her training sessions every now and then, but she did not understand the need of certain moves like the bearhug. As if she was going to crush an opponent with her arms!

"Hey you are next!" the middleweight would be given her call. "Good luck" she said to her reflection in the mirror before leaving backstage

"And her opponent, Lindsay Queen!" the announcer called out.

The cheers continued as Lindsay stood proud at the top of the ramp. After taking part a few matches, she has grown more accustomed to the many routines a LAW wrestler has to go through like the entrance. She walked towards the ring with a smile on her face, The model was too busy waving to the crowd to have a good look at her opponent. Once she was near the apron, Lindsay stopped in place from confusion. "Is that my opponent? It can't be, she looks so tiny! Maybe I should get some contacts" she thought to herself. After slipping through the middle ropes, she walked towards the fellow blonde to check if she wasn't blind.

"Yep you are tiny" Lindsay whispered poking the shorter in the forehead. "I think I have walked into the wrong match. They wouldn't give me someone too cute and weak" Maybe Lindsay shouldn't have blurted that part out loud. It was clear that there was a major size difference among the two wrestlers. Although there is more to Mika than it meets the eye.

It had not taken Mika long to form an opinion of her opponent, and given her frown it had not been for the better. At first, Mika thought this girl was quite nice as she seemed sweet and filled with positive energy. And to some degree her tone carried it, but then she decided to insult her; with a poke to her forehead as she mentioned her being both "tiny" and "weak" which stung her pride. Yes, given this was an inter-weight class match Mika was giving up size but do what? Wrestling was not something where only giants could win, as she had a small scowl on her face and a certain heelish personality was more than eager to express her feelings.

"Alright blondie, maybe I don't have a few inches to stand at eye level but I still have more than enough stuff to leave you flat on your back. Before this is done I will kick that DD behind of yours." Mika said as her "Trinity" personality spoke up and tried to speak a threat to Lindsay to let the woman know she meant business.

The ref was there more to make sure this war of words stayed vocal and not physical....before the bell rang anyway.

Lindsay didn't know whether to feel shocked or amused by her shorter opponent's trashtalk. "I am sorry if I have to take you seriously, but you are sounding cuter by the second. I mean DD behind" said Lindsay covering her mouth, trying not to make an immature giggle. The ref was glad that there wouldn't be an early match struggle that she had to break apart. Before any more trashtalk could from the lightweight's mouth, the bell would ring signalling the start of the match.

The model circled around her opponent not sure what to do. She did not know if her training would work against smaller opponents. "So do you want to like grapple?" she asked with her arms raised.

Mika, or Trinity at the moment, would have given a venomous response but then the bell rang as Lindsay asked how she wanted to start the match and offered to begin with a grapple. Mika had a scowl as she merely muttered under her breath while she raised her hands.

"Oh I'll "grapple" alright blondie..." Mika in her Trinity persona muttered as she seemed to invite for an initial lock up, but in spite of her annoyance she was not stupid. She knew she couldn't out muscle her middleweight opponent in a grapple but she hoped to lure Lindsay in just close enough so she could try to quickly grasp at her right arm and twist under it with the vision to apply a wrist lock to gain an early edge. Just needed her to take the bait...

"Blondie? But we are both blondes! How about we just call each other by our names?" Lindsay suggested still holding her arms out. She thought sticking to her strengths would help her in the long run, but Mika may disrupt situations where those can be applied. It seemed rather unwise to challenge an obviously weaker opponent in a contest of strength. but what else could the model think of?

She approached the lightweight, but Mika turned out to be quite the quick little scrapper as she grasped Lindsay's arm before giving it a little twist. "Ahh!!! Let g-g-go!!!" Lindsay begged. Despite having such a small stature, Mika or currently Trinity had quite some willpower and some upper body strength to back it off. The middleweight would be overwhelmed by the pain to think of some complex escape plan so she simply tried shaking her opponent off of her.

"S-sorry, but I came here to win and cannot let up now." Mika, or rather her heroic "Platinum" persona said as her persona and demeanor flipped on a dime but she managed to get a wrist lock though the bigger and stronger girl tried to shake her off which caused Mika to brace herself as she struggled to hold on. Even something as simple as this was tricky, so she needed to gain some leverage and since she couldn't spontaneously grow a head taller she needed to get Lindsay down.

So she would press with her foot against Lindsay's thigh, to try and work the girl into a keeled position so that Mika even with her shorter height would stand taller over her and allow her to properly twist with her wrist lock from a more favorable position.

"Oh that is fine, wait are you suddenly nice? Urgh..." asked Lindsay before going to grunting from her twisted arm. She wasn't aware of her opponent's multiple personas so the taller woman may come out of this more confused than usual. Returning to the match, the model tried walking forward, hoping that her opponent would now be separated from her or potentially lead to a rope break. She only could make a few steps before having her thigh nudged.

Lindsay tripped and fell onto her knees, whining a little from the rough landing. Despite only one of them was standing, Mika and Lindsay were at the same height. "OK you asked for it!" she shouted as decided to use her other arm to pull her twisted wrist free. She didn't bother to look back to check her surroundings so as soon as she felt some skin, Lindsay would tighten and squeeze whatever she was holding. What Lindsay didn't know was she was grasping Mika's neck leading to an accidental choke.

"Oh that is a long story it is GAH!" Mika said, as she would attempt to explain her duel personas to Lindsay before she suddenly felt Lindsay's free hand reach behind her and before she knew it she felt herself being choked out; unaware of it being unintentional not it mattered.

Immediately Mika dropped her wrist lock as both hands came up to Lindsay's free one as she worked to try and yank the hand off her throat. If this failed, she would try and kick at Lindsay's arm to get the girl to let go as she needed to cut off the choke quickly before it did any lasting damage.

"Yes it is free! But I feel something strange" thought Lindsay assuming that it wasn't an arm she was holding. She turned her head around to find out she was actually. choking the fellow blonde. "Whoops my bad or my good since this is a match" said Lindsay laughing nervously as she held her opponent in place.

Mika tried prying the arm off her neck. "Hey! Can I at least stand first?" the model called out trying to return to a standing position but the kick would happen. "Oww! Fine!" Lindsay raised her voice as she used her other arm to give Mika a hard shove while in the process stopping the choke.
