A Spar to Remember

After her kick seemingly leveled Domino, Yasha would dash to the ropes behind her to try and springboard off of them once more. This time Yasha would attempt to hit Drake with a Lionsault. Yasha's body would soar through the air as she committed to the move. If Yasha was able to hit it she go immediately for the pin to try and see just how much damage she has dealt to her sparring opponent. Yasha knew her offense was high risk but the pay off were too grand to not try and hit these high risk moves.

Drake was already dazed from the hit to the head. The stomp to the abs and kick to the chest didn't do him any favors. He's lying there on the mat, attempting to work himself up to get back into the fight, but his head is spinning. By the time he registers her footfalls have stopped, she's already almost upon him.

The girl's stomach slams across his abs, causing him to fold around her. "Hff!" He sprawls back down, supine beneath her. His heavy breaths push his abs against hers with each inhale, dimly aware of her scantly-clad frame over his. It's still a sensation he's not used to in the ring. Not with females, anyway. And that's really the distinction that matters. Yasha being attractive isn't lost on him, of course.

Still, there's no referee present. No one to count the pinfall but Yasha and Drake themselves. He could shove out of the pin, he thinks. But he's using the opportunity to recuperate while he can and regain his senses. It's not like she hasn't earned her perch for the time being.

Yasha would begin to count while she had Drake pinned. Yasha knew her sparring opponent wasn't close to being finished yet as she began the count. "1!...2!" Yasha began as she wondered why he'd stay down for an extended period of time. Yasha hoped it was because he needed more time to recover, because thinking he'd remain her because her attire only made this spar feel a bit weird.

The moment she hit the two-mark, Drake twists to the side and pulls a shoulder up off the mat. With a smirk, he shakes his head at her. "You're speedy... but that's not enough..." Of course, a show of confidence coming from a position beneath her is probably not doing him many favors. But with his left hand, he attempts to shove her off of himself and lift to his feet.

The two-count was enough of a breather to refocus himself. She's shown him what she can do. He just needs to get this back under control.

Drake would kick out at two and Yasha would get pushed away a bit. Yasha would get back up to her feet and would look at her opponent across from her. Yasha would raise her hand up in the air as if she was signaling for a test of strength. Granted this was a ploy for what Yasha had in mind depending if her latched onto her one hand. Yasha would to pull Drake closer to her so she could duck past him. Before Attempting to wrap her arms around his waist from behind then trying to send Domino crashing down to the mat with a German Suplex with a Bridge if she could.

Drake gets to his feet, head shaking to better refocus. And once he does, he sees 'Benikage' with her hand raised, inviting a test of strength. He has little reason to doubt her sincerity, so with a smirk, he raises a hand to carefully lace his fingers with hers. And then she has to go and betray that trust.

Feminine arms wrap his toned midsection, and Drake silently curses. One of the reasons he's faced issues with his federation is that he isn't... 'swole', in a word, like many other male wrestlers. In most matches, it gives him an edge in maneuverability. In this case, he doesn't have the sheer weight to halt her suplex. He finds himself snapped back, head and shoulders slamming to the mat behind her, his legs folding in towards his chest.

Yasha hit the German Suplex on Drake, and would bridge her body for a pinning predicament. Yasha would then count out Drake's shoulders on the mat. "1!..." Yasha said beginning the count. Yasha may have tricked Drake to get the German Suplex opportunity, but they didn't used to called her the "Bloody Shadow" for nothing back in her past promotions. Yasha would try to keep the bridge in to try and secure Drake for a possible victory, but she was confident her sparring opponent wasn't done yet.

She'd be quite correct there. Drake's jaw sets, teeth clamped, and eyes squeeze shut. After that first count, his legs suddenly spring to life with outward force, accompanied by a twist of his shoulders to pivot them out of the bridged position! The end result will see him lying on his side with her, resting on a forearm and shaking his head again.

"Sneaky..," he chides over his shoulder.

Drake was able to kick out and Yasha would get back up to her feet. Yasha would wait for her opponent to get up before she say. "My gimmick is that I'm like a ninja, only with more honor. So come at me in earnest." Yasha said to Drake as she got into a ready stance before she'd begin to circle the ring keeping her eye on Drake looking for an opening.

He draws himself to his full height again with a light bob on his feet, and he begins circling with her. His nose wrinkles as she explains her gimmick, but he doesn't explain why. It hits the ear weird to have layers of a person you've watched a while boiled down to a gimmick. Logically, he knew it was most likely not what she's really like or about. But sometimes you prefer the fiction.

She wants him to come at her in earnest. He's happy to oblige.

Drake closes in again, arms raised to invite a lockup. But the moment the distance is narrowed between them, it's revealed as a ruse! Rather than lock up with the girl, he attempts to open up her defenses with a toe-kick aimed at her stomach.
