Jessica Wright vs. "Hyper Cat" Kitty Page
Regular match: win via pinfall, KO, DQ or submission.
Jessica was pushing herself. She knew that. In the gym, she was going harder than she ever had before. Just last week she had hit a new personal record for the squat, which she reminisced on as she ran her hand down her leg. In the sparring ring, she was soaking in all of the information she could, learning new moves and new counter moves left and right as she attempted to figure out how to beat anyone in the world. Jessica had lived half her life in the ring, but she knew that there was always another mountain to climb. In the kitchen, she was preparing. The Violent Violet dropped her usual Saturday night habit of drinking beers until she couldn't stand up straight in favor of a diet of chicken and rice and eggs. Jessica felt stronger and more experienced and fitter than she ever had before.
And she would have to be. She was in matches almost every week it seemed, with little time off to recuperate and train. But this is where she wanted to be. In the ring, working her way up, clawing her way to notoriety and then respect and eventually the belt. Jessica stood up from the chair and looked at herself in the mirror. She launched a punch or two at the ghosts of her failures, watching her form as she did so. A bit more quickness was needed, maybe. That would give her a little bit more pop.
She nodded. And with her reassurance to herself, she turned and whisked herself out the door and down the long hallways of the LAW arena. She rolled her shoulder, trying to get nice and loose before her bout. The Violent Violet would be going up against a rookie this evening, which was always a mixed back. It could be some little 18 year old who was thrown in the ring, totally unprepared. Or it could be some 13 year vet of another promotion who was ready to steamroll everything.
Whatever the case was, Jessica was going to give it her all.
Little sister there's blood on the tracks...
Jessica's haunting intro music heralded her entrance, and she entered the main arena. The crowd booed and jeered her, and she sent a glare back at them. They didn't know anything she thought. The whole audience was just a bunch of upjumped punks who wanted nothing more than sex and violence, and Jessica was going to give it to them. In the worst way possible. She marched down to the ring with her head high and her shoulders relaxed, and slid under the bottom rope.
Jessica fell into her corner, and looked up the ramp.
Come on down, she thought.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. "Hyper Cat" Kitty Page
Kitty was backstage doing leg stretches against the wall, her leg completely vertical as she prepared for her debut match in LAW. This was a huge opportunity to get her name shared across the mainstream media in Japan and she was not willing to let this opportunity slip through her fingers. Kitty was aware that her opponent was much taller than her, but she faced bigger and out witted them in order to get the win. An stagehand warned Kitty that it was time and the catchy beat of Cat Groove started blasting through the PA.
"Alright, let's do this!" Kitty rushed through the curtain, getting a warm welcome from the crowd as she waved excitedly. There was a spring in her step as Kitty took a running start and slid through the ropes. From there she took first notice at the rather imposing Jessica Wright.
"Well, hey there doom and gloom!" Kitty greeted her opponent, "Let's give these folks a show yeah?" Kitty extended a hand for her to shake.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. "Hyper Cat" Kitty Page
Jessica's purple eyes did not waver from Kitty as she made her way down the ramp. It occurred to her that she had never felt like that. Or at least, didn't show. She remembered her first shot at a belt, mediocre and unknown, in a seedy gym in some bumfuck nowhere town in Illinois. Before the match she was nervous and excited, positively bouncing with joy at the thought of getting that belt around her waist. While she didn't wave at the fans, she made her way to the ring with pomp and circumstance, being as ebullient as she could be. And then the bell rung. And then she lost, badly.
Her purple eyes hardened the closer Kitty got. Cat ears. Makeup on the face. Hallmarks of some kawaii idiot who would only be a tomato can for the more serious women here. Althought, that might not necessarily be the case. Maybe the LAW staff was throwing Jessica against someone they thought would be a match for her, which made her clench her fist. The woman was already in the ring now, sliding through the ropes and hopped her way over to Jessica.
"The only show they are going to get is your fucking execution." Jessica's fists were at her sides, and her teeth were gritted. She did not even deign to look at the outstretched hand.

"Oookay" Kitty slowly withdrew her hand as she backed into her corner. The bell rang and Kitty clapped her hands, circling around the taller wrestler as she readied herself for a lock-up.
Gonna have to figure out how to deal with grumpy pants over here. Kitty thought.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. "Hyper Cat" Kitty Page
Jessica took a few steps back. Her movements were slow and measured. Dealing with a high-flyer was exceptionally difficult for her, and that task would be rendered nigh insurmountable if she were too gassed to deal with a handspring. Her purple eyes stared daggers into her opponent. She was eyeing Kitty's every move, trying to figure out all the ways she could skin this cat.
The Violent Violet approached, hands up and at the ready. It appeared her opponent was going for a lock up. The snicker on Jessica's face revealed what she was feeling. She eagerly accepted, just before pushing just about as hard as she could.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. "Hyper Cat" Kitty Page
A lock-up was probably a bad idea Kitty thought as Jessica easily pushed the cat-wrestler towards the turnbuckle until her back pressed against the padding. Kitty struggled for a moment before an idea flashed in her mind and started to slowly climb the turnbuckle until she was able to be face to face with Jessica. Kitty then threw two forearm shots to the head in order to push Jessica back and break the lock up.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. "Hyper Cat" Kitty Page
Jessica gained ground and gained ground. Her long legs paced forward and her hips rotated as if she were a panther. The Violent Violet was not shy about throwing her weight around, especially in a situation where she could get an advantage out of it. And the more Kitty Page retreated, the better she felt. When her opponent's back hit the turnbuckle, she felt like a million bucks.
Then her opponent went and did something different. She ascended the turnbuckle and gave two hard shots to Jessica's head, causing her to back up a bit. The move halted her, but it did not stop her. Immediately she pitched forward and down, going for a handspring that would send Jessica's long legs upwards, hopefully to frame the sides of Kitty's face. Should Jessica find herself in such a position, she would clamp down and launch her opponent forward onto the mat with a quick contraction of her core!

Re: Jessica Wright vs. "Hyper Cat" Kitty Page
Kitty was about to smile for getting herself out of that predicament only for Jessica to surprise the cat-like wrestler by wrapping her long legs and tossing her out of the corner with a frakensteiner. However, instinct kicked in and Kitty was able to jump off the turnbuckle just as Jessica completed the move, flipping into the air and landing on her feet. The crowd clapped at the show of athleticism and Kitty turned to face Jessica and bowed to her larger opponent.

Re: Jessica Wright vs. "Hyper Cat" Kitty Page
Jessica clasped her legs around her opponent's head, and she thought that she had it made. After all, there were only so many ways that this little Hyper Cat could go, and it looked like the least common denominator here was 'down'. But as she went through with the move, she detected a slight imbalance. Kitty was moving, and that was a problem.
She couldn't quite see what happened, but when she popped back up she saw that Kitty was standing, which was a little peculiar. After all, she was supposed to be on the ground, moaning in pain. And that crowd cheering should have been cheering for her, and not this kitty cat. She looked around a little bit in confusion before she got her game face back on.
"I don't know what bullshit you did, but it ain't gonna happen again," She wiped her mouth and crouched into her stance. Then she slowly approached her opponent.

"Gonna have to do better than that bud." Kitty flashed a toothy grin. Upon Jessica's approach, Kitty was quick to deliver a few kicks against her taller foe's right knee an attempt to bring her down to size.
