Her finisher was executed with perfection, despite the condition her body was in. Never before had she been in such a grueling match in her life. She had plenty of matches back at the carnival, but none of them came even close to this, both in difficulty and in exhilaration. So this is what it's like to be in a big promotion?

As she slumped over to her side, she opened her eyes to look at Mayori. Her opponent wasn't moving at all, outside of a twitch here and there. She hoped that Mayori wasn't injured. She had practiced that move enough to keep her opponents from having any lasting damage, but with the condition she was in, it was hard to tell.

She was completely burned out, though. She thought she had nothing left in the tank before, but that was nothing compared to now. That lead in her body had turned to steel, and everything hurt. However, she knew she would have to dig deep one last time and pin her opponent, or all the hard work she put in would be for naught.

She would move Mayori's head off of her legs and gently onto the canvas. Then, with great effort, she dragged her tired body slowly to Mayori's side and dug her hands and arms under Mayori's body. With one final heave, she would roll Mayori onto her back, spread-eagle. Then, she heaved herself on top of her opponent, her exposed belly laying over Mayori's own bare stomach. She would try to move her arm over to Mayori's leg to hook it, but the arm would never make it that far. Satsuki's body finally had enough, and she gave into the darkness. As she lay on top of Mayori, her consciousness slipped away from her, and she fell into a slumber.

Except for the referee, no one else inside of the ring was experiencing the following seconds of the match.

Mayori’s splayed and elegant white-clad form was partially being covered by Satsuki. Neither girl was moving any limbs after the “ONE!” was counted. The crowd had seen Mayori escape the pin once, but her soft breathing was the only sign of life.

Satsuki seemed unconscious herself and her orange gear brightly caught the ring lights which showed eve the nosebleed section of the arena that it was her on top in the pin attempt.

“TWO!”

The front rows at ringside we’re on their feet and a couple of fans even reached over the barrier to slap it with each count the referee made. Their support for Satsuki and her debut match success against Mayori was apparent. Mayori’s few fans peppered the lower bowl of the arena, but they held little hope for her beating the “THREE!”. It came and went, but the match bell only resounded with the fans.

Mayori suffered her second straight loss and it was a to a debuting girl. She would no doubt be discouraged when she regained her senses. What’s more, her standings on the roster would diminish even further and her battle uphill would be steeper.

DING! DING! DING!

The bell sounded, signifying and end to an amazing match. The crowd screamed in excitement as the match came to a close, although a few were sad that it was over. Satsuki may have won the match and gained many new fans, but Mayori wasn't about to leave the ring without any new fans either. They had both put on one hell of a match, and everyone here was going to remember it for quite a while.

The only sad part to all of this was the fact that neither of the two competitors were awake for the end of the match. Even as the ref attempted to wake Satsuki up, she would soon figure out that it was pretty futile. Satsuki wouldn't be waking up any time soon, so the ref just resorted to lift Satsuki's arm from the position she was in. She then left the two girls as they were and waited for the medical team to come and cart the two wrestlers off to the back.
