A New Experiment for a New Gal!! Helena Clemence(d) vs Amy Evans

Well she could think of stranger things to start her mark off of, at the very not least she knew she’d be making an impact if she won. She had heard of this Amy and most of the positive things people say about her are that she is ‘hot’ and a good fighter. The negatives? She’s apparently aggressive, condescending, excessively violent, uncooperative, she tips waitresses deliberately (insulting custom in this place as Helena had discovered) and seems to get off on her own violence. She had seen her craft firsthand at bloodsport, hitting an already nearly out of it opponent with her finishing move when something less aggressive would have probably done the trick but she didn’t want to judge too harshly this was wrestling afterall and one couldn’t think that you were going to find completely nice people here. And deciding not to focus on her too much Helena made sure her entrance was all about her, coming out to her own personal song and looking as elegant as she could, the Sensational knew how to put on a show, this was her first time on this grand stage and she wanted to nail it immediately, crass opponent or bust. Though she had to admit the stipulation made it hard to plan things out. How much mobility she had and what she could do was in the hands of fans who likely knew her opponent more then her, and were likely to just be voting based on there view of her. She won just need to endure and bedazzle, they’d go in thinking of her but walk out thinking of the Sensation that was Helena Clemence.

Amy was livid, but not for the reasons one would suspect, after an attack by Korra left her with an injured back that the doctors refused to clear her on for a month she had that long to literally stew in obscurity. Now she was back and she didnt even know what the match was? Even if it was someone she had never faced before she would have liked to get an idea of what to expect, this match could literally go primal in a cage or berserk in a FCA, and while she knew plenty of painful submissions she wasnt what one would call an expert in them. A crazy fight was on her hand no matter the result.

Coming out in normal wrestling look and not fully dressing up as the Lion, Amy looked at the women made of posture in front of her. She looked ready to fight, after so much time healing her wounds she wanted to hit something, though she also knew that none of these matches would help show her she was a changed person. Course she had other ways of doing that, she still wasnt about to start high fiving fans like a kiss up but when she got the ring she gave a silent nod to Helena, no trash talking or anything else.

Helena was her opponent coming down music playing that was rather melancholic for a wrestling theme though since this girl was a veteran she wasn’t exactly going to judge her. She would admire the physique as it was immediately clear how this women got as far as she did. The blonde was not someone you would want to pick a fight with, though her reputation as a monster in the ring didn’t seem apparent at first. She wasn’t giving her the flares or the grins that had become known to her, leaving Helena to wonder of they were exaggerated or if she was putting on a false look with her. “Well it seems they are not holding back for me are they? With someone like you as my opponent.”

Amy didnt need to look at ehr opponent too long to know why she was put agaisnt her, she was big strong and blonde. A rookie sure but that only meant she was new here, for all she knew this women had plenty of experience elsewhere. The blonde wasnt about to be intimidated by that at all but at least she would b a pretty strong physical match for her that any risk of seriously hurting her when trying to put her down wasnt as likely.

"Huh? I guess not. Though I am just coming off an injury so that might be helped." Amy said with a shrug, not wuite sure herself the reasoning behind most of these matches and how and why someone fights someone, looking up at the cage that was hanging from the ring in case that one the vote she wondered what she might have to do in that. When was this going to go on already?

Helena gave her a curt nod in response. That somewhat made sense that they would give her a break even if it was a coin toss for Amy since she had no way of knowing how good she was. Still she heard the drumroll as the announcement for what type won the poll. Her eyes fixated on the screen until finally it showed that this would be a submission match. A test of sheer determination that would only end when one conceded to the other, needless to say it was quite the thing to start out on. “So it would appear you and me have to settle this with one submitting to the other..on an unrelated note where exactly did you get injured?” A simple jest though if she did see Amy was hurt somewhere she would be inclined to take advantage of it.

Amy watched the tron go and decide that they would be duking it out in a submission match. Amy had submissions to spare but she couldnt recall the last time she had made someone tap out with them. Great...And Helena was already looking for weaknesses. She couldnt really blame her but she didnt exactly want to get involved with her back taking anything more after returning.

"Oh dont worry about that. Im fully healed." Amy said looking at the fighter while wondering how she should go about handling things from here on out. Submission matches worked better when you picked a limb and worked it. Her first thought was the arms but she wasnt very good at arm bars and the like. She might be better off going for the legs or back. Rolling her shoulders she waited for the bell to ring.

“Oh good! I’d hope I wouldn’t ruin whatever was hurt anymore.” Helena kept her cards close while it’s true she wouldn’t want to permanently damage Amy a weakness would do her well assuming she still had it. Though it was completely likely ah was fully healed as it would be foolish and a PR nightmare if LAW allowed her to fight when she was clearly hurt still. The bell rang and the first match of her career was on. Helena smirked and hopped on her feet, closing in towards the blonde feeling like this was going to be fun. “Show me what people fear about you.”

Dear lord she legitimately couldnt tell if Helena was serious or being condescending. Not being a people person was really fucking her over on this communication thing. Didnt help she spoke with the uppity tone Amy had heard used to mock her all her life, and what started her immediate reaction to punching her face.

Once the bell rang Amy didnt need to say anything else moving in to meet her match with a desire to see where things would go from here. If the match was submission based she would need to start working a spot now. Coming in hot and try to push into her opponent and drive her into the corner.

Helena was a women who liked to take things slow get an appreciation for the way her and her opponent would clash in the ring and take a gander at the style she employed. It quickly became clear Amy was not that kind of women. Rather then appreciate anything she wanted a fight and she wanted it the second the bell was telling her it was on. She rushed in like a bull more then a Lion and rammed into her. Helena seemed more shocked then hurt as she was knocked backwards off her feet an rsent spiraling towards the corner, with her back introduced to the corner in the roughest way possible.

Amy had Helena in the corner, a spot she had so many opponents before her. Amy didnt think about wasting the momentum. Rushing in to slam her shoulder into the blonde's body to knock the wind out of her a few times before. Pulling back and stepping up on the second rope, holding Helena's head up as she started raining punches down on her head.

"Well if your gonna step up to the big fish you might as well get the full experience." Amy declared throwing in punches to her face. Looking to stun Helena in the corner then and there.
