Haruka vs Amaya (D)-A Battle of Will!!

However, the arm did not drop a third time. When the ref let it go, not long after Haruka's proclamation, the hand hung in the air as Amaya's eyes shot open. Then, in a sudden and desperation-fueled strike she launched a karate chop that was aimed for Haruka's neck. It appeared as if that either Amaya gained a second wind or was playing some possum to lull Haruka into a false sense of security to lower the intensity of her hole. Either way, Amaya aimed to capitalize and hoped to strike the neck to stun Haruka just long enough to worm her way right out of the chokehold.

It was now or never, and she needed to catch Haruka off guard and land this strike.

With the sudden persistence of Amaya’s will to win, she found her hand raising up to show that she hadn’t lost yet. Haruka was genuinely surprised by the turn of events looking at her before she felt her strike her neck. The act did its job, Haruka gagged and her grip practically ceased as she brought her hands to her neck. “Aahugh, ohh!” Tending to herself she had given Amaya the chance to strike back and recover.

"I....am not....finished yet!" Amaya called out, in between pants as she used the moment that Haruka tended to herself to catch her breath but knew she had to press here while opportunity came knocking. So while she worked to gain her breath, she would aim to deliver a European Uppercut in an effort to try to deal a blow to the stunned nurse and keep the pressure going.

“Paaagh!” The European uppercut struck Haruka right near the chin and cheek sending her head bouncing off her slim arms. She had no idea where this second wind had come from especially since she wa sure she had closed off the ability to breathe with the guilotone and the question of what she could do to actually secure a win was actually a question now? What happened to the fighter she dominated in the first round?

Amaya panted a bit, which showed the effect of the prior guillotine as it had not been so easy to recover so quickly despite her burst of energy; more so of desperation than anything but her determination shinned through.

Amaya's aim now was to try and stand up, and stand Haruka up, and if successful she would aim to try and toss Haruka right into the corner with what strength she had to stun and position her for a plan she had in mind to really take it to the nurse.

With the two still on there knees Haruka thought maybe she could take a second to recover. Though Amaya pulled them up and tossed her in the corner much quicker then she expected with the more experienced nurse trying to use the corner to recover. Amaya hit pretty hard even lacking air and in the corner like this she felt vulnerable she had to get out of here at the first possible opportunity.

Amaya used a minute to catch her breath, somewhat, as well as shake her bad leg out while Haruka was laying prone in the corner. Though Amaya knew that would not last for long and if she laid back too long Haruka would recover and manage to escape the corner which she could not afford.

So she would move in the opposite corner, as she worked to quickly get herself set and decided to go for broke....her aim was to charge into Haruka and try to deliver a running corner knee to her jaw using her good leg. If the move worked, it would be a stunning blow that could set up for a combo she had in mind...and if not she might end up hurting her other leg in kind. All depended on whether she could connect before Haruka could dodge or vice versa...

In the corner the next big move was precious as Haruka needed to find a way to freedom and Amaya needed to start hitting something bigger to take her down. Amaya proved quicker on the act though. While Haruka was resting for a moment, she saw Amaya already rushing in and in the air too close to stop the knee that slammed into her jaw. “Gaahhk!” Her head bobbed around again, this time her senses lost to the rest of her, she felt weak and made of jello all over with the only thing that seemed to be keeping her up was the corner she was leaning in. And that left her in a precarious position with her opponent in her face.

With the nurse stunned and her senses out of wack from the knee strike, Amaya had a much appreciated chance to fruther catch her breath and try to midgate the soreness of her leg Haruka had worked on. Amaya knew she had finished set up, but now she needed to really drive Haruka down as she aimed to grab Haruka's head and hold it in what appeared to be some corner side headlock; her intent would end up pressing the side of Haruka's face into her breast but Amaya would discourage that thought if it worked.

Her aim was simply to run forward and try to plant Haruka with a running corner bulldog to complete her 1-2 punch.

Loopy and defenseless Haruka didn’t react to anything Amaya did, even when she was pulled into a headlock and brought in close for that tasteful headlock with side boob. Her hand weakly came up in some half hearted attempt to stop her before she was thrown in the center of the ring thanks the bulldog. Haruka faceplanted into the mat and stayed there, unable to shrug off the mounting damage agaisnt her as she stayed down. Though she wasn’t slowly trying to pick herself off the canvas.
