Toshiko Ito vs Grace Kenning - Knockout Match

Toshiko had hit multiple kicks to Grace's chest and felt her opponent was sufficiently weakened for her next wicked set of strikes as she saw the look in Grace's eyes as she struggled to so much as breathe right now. The Twilight Edge knew she had this match close to winning and refused to let it up now. Even though her own body had felt ragged, she had the clear advantage and had to capitalize. So she tossed Grace's arm aside and then lined up her next target: Kenning's stomach.

Drawing a hand back and lining herself and Grace up so her back would be facing the nearest turnbuckle. Then, she would let out a cry as she threw a palm strike towards Grace's bread basket, which would be devastating for the girl who struggled to breathe right now. But she wouldn't stop there. She would come back with another palm strike towards Grace's belly with her other hand, then the other, and other, trying to back her into the corner. And if she could get her there, Toshiko would draw back her arm and then try to fire a final blow towards Grace's navel, but turn her hand so it would be a sharp knuckle strike meant to do more damage than the rest.

After the kicks were done ravaging her chest grace had to deal with the feeling of pain and lack of air that followed such a brutal combo, supported slightly by the fighter that was soon to let her go and face her again while she was facing the opposite of the corner. Toshiko waste no time in starting her next attack throwing a big palm strike that struck Grace's abs dead center.

"Ugghh!" Grace coughed lurching forward as she was pushed towards the corner with her hands coming up to protect her stomach, though Toshiko's next attack hit first and her hands stopped in place, which made It easier for Toshiko to go on the full offensive and start slamming her palms into Grace's belly. "Ouff! ommph! Uggh!" Grace was knocked back closer and closer to the corner until finally her back struck it as her arms flopped around it to keep herself standing. This proved to be another mistake when Toshiko went for one final strike but instead of a palm strike it was a much more focused punch agaisnt grace's belly button that hit with more impact with the punch. "Ouuggh!!" Grace gasped and leaned in feeling her abs being pummeled by the quick and powerful assault of Toshiko!

Each strike hit with devastating precision and Grace seemed utterly helpless to protect herself against any of it. As Toshiko managed to get her to the corner, one last punch struck Kenning's navel and made her double over. The fierce Japanese performer waited a moment to catch her own breath as Grace leaned forward and Ito's gaze narrowed on Grace's and she then decided she would continue the assault.

Toshiko would attempt a very hard slap strike to her opponent's cheek before using the momentum to spin and place her hand on her own closed fist and trying an incredibly impactful strike to Grace's stomach with the point of her elbow that was almost more akin to a dagger strike. Then, the Twilight Edge would walk away from Kenning, allowing her form to fall out of the corner if she didn't have the energy to stay upright.

Grace was convinced that assault had something to do with the treatment Toshiko's abs got in the beginning of the match but she didnt have the time to ask, or the air. In fact given by that glare she was being given things were just getting started. Grace tried to get her hands up again but was stopped when the women suddenly attempted to just throw her hand to her cheek, once again past any defense she could put up.

"Ngggh!" Grace was stunned once more and just when she felt like things couldnt get much worse it felt like a dagger struck her hurting stomach. "Aggguuhh!" So it wasnt a dagger but Toshiko's shoulder was a damn close substitute. Forcing Grace to push the air out of her lungs it was followed by a moment of her ability to breathe being completely gone while she started to gasp and eventually collapsed while trying to breathe as Toshiko left her in the corner.

The strike had met it's mark and Toshiko heard Grace exhale sharply, forcing almost all of the air from her body with the vicious strike. She could hardly feel bad about it after the abuse she had taken to her own stomach from the girl. Moreover, it was difficult for her to feel bad when she was looking to win. And with her back to Kenning, she waited to hear Grace fall to the mat before glancing over his shoulder at the struggling girl.

With a look that shared no empathy at all, Ito grabbed hold of one of Grace's arms to drag her out of the corner a bit. Then, the Japanese girl would stick her own foot under Grace's chin and then attempt to raise her opponent to her feet by it, getting ready to close out this match knowing how much Kenning was struggling for air now.

Breathing slowly after the series of hits made breathing in general hurt each time she did so, all while Toshiko started to drag her towards the center of the ring while Grace groaned and her hand started to shake in some feeble effort to get free, but Toshiko had her way anyway and soon grace was in the center.

Her foot came to her chin and soon after that she found herself being brought up by ehr foot while looking lost and breathless. Her eyes eventually shifted upwards to look at Toshiko but she remained dazed as her head stayed on the women who seemed poised to finish her off in some way. All she could do was wait to see which.

Toshiko slowly raised up Grace to her feet with her boot as she stared directly back into the eyes of her opponent she had just had a vicious battle with. With a steely expression on her still-covered face, she kept her upright by her foot and then leaned in slightly before speaking in a dark tone. "You will learn respect."

Ito let the words sink in to Grace before shoving her back slightly with her boot to buy her a moment to strike when she was still upright. The Twilight Edge then struck out, pivoting and kicking Grace Kenning in the head with her heel with a spinning roundhouse kick she dubs The Twilight Grasp. A loud crack came from the impact as Toshiko kept turning until her back was facing her beaten foe.

Grace was feeling too out of it to fight back even as Toshiko too her time with the buildup. It felt awful knowing that after being so close to victory she was about t taste defeat but there was nothing that could be done. Even more so with the callous attitude of Toshiko pushing her away and then nailing her with that brutal kick to her face.

Grace's head whipped back and she took one step before the rest of her started to fall backwards and timber down to the floor. Her body in a mindless heap that didnt look like it was rising anytime soon. Her eyes had rolled back in her head and the ref seemed to be checking to verify if she was out.

Toshiko Ito crossed her arms as she stood over Grace with her back to the fallen girl. She simply bowed her head and waited to be awarded the winner, having no doubt that the kick would have knocked her out. After the referee verified this, she sounded the bell, and Toshiko was declared the winner.

Turning her head to peek over her shoulder, she looked at her defeated opponent. A worthy adversary, by the end of it, and someone she could see having a battle with again in the future. Toshiko had little doubt in her victory though and she allowed the referee to raise her arm up in victory. After a few moments of that, Toshiko turned finally to face Grace Kenning... only so she may step over her on her way to exit the ring, vaulting over the top rope.

She needed to recover from the beating she had taken, but it was hardly the worst that she's received. The Twilight Edge had made her mark in this match though, and she had put the rest of the roster on notice.
