Bethany Hunter vs. Hikaru Sawazaki - Rise Up!

Throwing Hikaru down with the suplex, Bethany thought that it would be the perfect time to try pinning her opponent down on the mat. Making sure that Hikaru was lying flat on her back, Bethany would get herself on top of her, grabbing one of her legs by hooking her arm under the crook of her knee, and the referee would come next to them and start counting for the pin.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Hikaru thrust out of the pin at two, trying to shove Bethany off of her so she could roll away and push herself back up to her feet. She had to be careful against this woman otherwise she would just have her offense countered over and over. Circling again, Hikaru tried to move in but this time instead of a grapple she tried to send a fast punch towards Bethany's jaw in an attempt to stun her!

Hikaru kicked out of the pin, so Bethany would get back up onto her feet, preparing herself for her next clash with her opponent. Once she was on her feet, she looked at Hikaru before she closed in, only to take a punch at her jaw. "Aughh!!" She staggered back, feeling her jaw aching from the strike. But she would quickly regain her footing.

Grunting, Bethany would try to retaliate, not wanting to keep herself vulnerable for long as she would try to land a discus forearm club right onto Hikaru's chest, looking to leave her winded and dazed, as well as stunned from the strike.

Hikaru took the forearm club to the chest, stumbling back a few steps before outright falling down onto her back! She groaned and kicked the mat in pain, rubbing her chest as she laid there looking up at the arena lights! Bethany packed one hell of a punch....

Seeing that her forearm club managed to send Hikaru down onto the mat, Bethany would try to take advantage of this by charging towards her before leaping up into the air, looking to land onto her with a body splash, in which she would then proceed to follow up with a full body pinfall attempt.

"ONE!"

Hikaru was stuck, her whole body hurting after the big splash! She kicked and struggled, caught off guard by the sudden pin! As the referees hand raised up again the fiesty Hikaru thrust a shoulder up to break the pin just in time!

Hikaru managed to break the pin, and Bethany decided to keep up with her assault as she would pick herself up, preparing herself for her next move. She would grab onto Hikaru's head in order to pull her back up as she rose back onto her feet. She would have the Japanese wrestler facing her as she would pull her head between her thighs, subjecting her to a standing headscissor.

"Alright, this gonna hurt a lot..." Bethany said as she planned to wrap her arms around Hikaru's waist before hoisting her up onto her shoulder. Then, she would exert her strength to throw her down with a powerbomb!

Hikaru was not a fan of being lift up into the air especially in a position like this! However she still had her wits about her and as soon as Bethany began to lift Hikaru held her arms up and leaned back with as much force as she could trying to turn this power bomb into a hurricanrana in her favor! She needed to escape and if she could hurt Bethany in the process it would only help her victory effort!

Setting Hikaru up for a powerbomb, Bethany hoisted her up and brought her up onto her shoulders, but before she could throw her down onto the mat, Hikaru suddenly made use of her position to turn this powerbomb into a hurricanrana. "Aaahh!!" Bethany yelped as she was thrown aside, landing onto her side. She was left reeling from this, her attempt at powerbombing her opponent foiled, leaving herself exposed to what Hikaru would try to do to her.

Hikaru had prevented a disaster and knew it would be smart to capitalize on the opening she had created. She got up and ran towards the ropes nearby. Hikaru tried to leap up onto the middle rope and springboard off back in the direction of Bethany. Hikaru extended her elbow, looking to come crashing down onto Bethany with a springboard elbowdrop!
