Lauren Frederick's vs. Gemma Faraday

Lauren had been on a slide, one that she was sure had gotten. Her plenty of negative attention with the powers that be. She had a small winning streak for a short time but had now assembled quite a losing streak ever since defeating Holly. Now she faces Holly's small, speedy firecracker tag partner who probably had avenging Holly on her mind.

Lauren told herself she would jump out to an early lead and maintain it this time, no excuses. As her. Music played and the soft, lumpy lower bodied woman came strutting out in her blue one piece swimsuit rhe crowd applauded and cheered politely as she only had a small, loyal fanbase giving her something of a tiny section that cheered loudly for her. Oddly enough, most of her most loyal fans were middle aged women who followed wrestling, hardly the core demographic for LAWs typical fanbase.

Lauren climbed in the ring, flexing her arms which were by far her most impressive physical feature. She settled in to her corner awaiting the arrival of Gemma.

Gemma was stretching backstage, pacing in a tight circle as she tried to keep herself limber, and her heart from beating up into her throat. The punky British Bombshell was going it alone tonight in singles action. Tonight, she was going up against a powerful woman named Lauren, one that had recently notched up a decisive victory over her buxom tag team partner. Now, Gemma had avenging that loss, and testing herself on her own, running through her mind.

When given the signal, Gemma threw herself through the gate and onto the entrance ramp. With a fist raised to the air, Gemma smiled as she presented herself to the fans. The Bombshell wasted no time getting to the ring, jogging up to the ring steps. She wiped her boots respectfully on the ring apron, then vaulted herself over the top rope. Landing with her boots on the middle rope, Gemma draped one leg over the rope and threw a fist into the air, bouncing as she showed off a vivacious spirit, going into this bout!

After the cheers died down, Gemma threw her leg back over the rope, then hopped down. She sized up Lauren, studying the blonde’s build while she took another moment to stretch, limbering up her arms.

“Hope you’re ready, sweetheart,” Gemma said, with a playful wink, “because I’m here to fight, tonight!”

Lauren watched Gemma come down, she was a speedy little ball of energy or so it seemed! Lauren was going to have to keeper grounded otherwise there was no way she was going to be able to keep up with Gemma and the smaller woman was likely able to tire Lauren out. Lauren smiled and nodded as Gemma spoke stretching a bit herself as she replied. "Oh don't worry I will give you all you can handle and then some!" Lauren said, trying her best to sound confident despite matches not going in her favor ever since her victory over Holly.

As the bell rang Lauren began to circle Gemma, wary of what she was capable of. Taking a chance, Lauren lunged in to try to lock up with Gemma in a grapple in order to hold her still!

Gemma’s heart was pounding, more than ready to get this match rolling. Still, Gemma couldn’t help but size up Lauren’s broad shoulders, her powerful thighs, and worry about how much strength she was giving up to her foe, tonight. If she was going to win this, Gemma thought, she was going to need to play things smart …

The bell rang and the two women circled one another. “Wouldn’t have it any other way, luv!” Gemma teased, right before Lauren lunged at her for a lock up. “Ht!” Gemma grunted as the two women’s arms intertwined, locking them up into a grapple. Gemma knew this was a chance to jockey for control- and that she would have to act quickly, if she didn’t want the stronger woman to get that control. So, quickly, Gemma stepped to one side, attempting to shift her grip and catch Lauren in a wrist lock, so that she could start this match with the upper hand on her foe.

Lauren moved in and grappled with Gemma, but her opponent acted more quickly than Lauren could hope to! Her arm now out-stretched and held out, Lauren cried out in pain as she bent down a bit, stuck in the hold! Gritting her teeth Lauren tried to get out using a bit of a brute force method. She tried to pull her arm in while stepping towards Gemma, hoping to draw the woman close enough to her to deliver a clothesline!

She knew it would take a toll on the arm that was held, but if she could escape while sending Gemma to the mat she figured it would all be worth it!

Gemma’s quick thinking worked out for her, as she snapped Lauren’s arm into a wrist lock. The hold, Gemma figured, would neutralize the thick blonde’s strength for a moment and keep the punky Bombshell in control. Gemma watched as Lauren went down, crying out in pain. Gemma stepped in to close the distance as Lauren went down, tightening the hold. Keeping control, right up to the moment that Lauren fired back with a clothesline.

“Aaugh!” Gemma cried out, as Lauren’s thick bicep smacked into her chest and sent her to the floor! Gemma grunted as her back hit the canvas, giving up the hold. Lauren would be free, but Gemma wouldn’t just lie there and take it. Once she hit her back, Gemma would roll backward, tumbling across her spine and coming back up into a squat position. Both arms up, Gemma scowled at Lauren, even while she raised her hands to invite another grapple!

Lauren felt the hit and knew it was solid. As she sent Gemma to the mat though she saw her rolling with the hit, rising quickly to her feet. Lauren grit her teeth and her eyes widened as Gemma seemed eager to lock up again! Was she saying she didn't need to be speedy to beat Lauren? If she wanted to play into Lauren's hands that was fine for the older woman. Lauren stepped in, trying to lock up with Gemma and grab hold of her! This time Lauren was going to try to force Gemma back into a corner giving her a lot less room to move!

Gemma had bounced off the mat quickly, but she was still feeling the sting of the blonde woman’s clothesline. When Gemma invited another lock-up, wanting to prove she wasn’t scared of the older and stronger Lauren, she did so with a plan. Still, she wasn’t quite expecting the blonde to come in as enthusiastically as she did!

“NNgh! Ah!” Gemma grunted, as Lauren locked up with her and started to shove her back. Gemma could feel herself giving ground, shoving her toward the ring corner. “Hhgn!” Gemma grunted, her back hitting the corner turnbuckle. This would give Lauren all the control in their lock up, Gemma knew. At least, if she didn’t act. Back against the turnbuckle, Gemma bit her lip, and thrust a leg up, trying to kick Lauren in the belly so that she could try and rock the blonde, using her own forward momentum against her!

Lauren had Gemma forced back, looking to box her around in that corner. Right before she could act though a sharp boot came up, hammering Lauren's abdomen! She groaned and stumbled back, doubled over and clutching her midsection in her arms as she stumbled about after the surprise kick took the wind right out of her. Lauren was finding out that Gemma really was full of surprises but she was determined that she share the same fate as Holly when facing Lauren in the ring alone!

Gemma’s boot sank into Lauren’s belly, doubling her over. Gemma couldn’t help but smile at having stopped her opponent, and seemingly caught her off guard. Good, Gemma figured; let her underestimate me, then!

The Brit wouldn’t give herself much time to pat herself on her back. Still stuck against the corner, Gemma saw an opening for a big, match-swinging move. Hopping up to the second rope, Gemma bent forward and grabbed Lauren around the waist. Launching herself off the rope, Gemma pressed her chest flush against Lauren’s lower back and hung on tight while momentum carried her over. If she landed the move, Gemma would land with Lauren rolled up in her arms, shoulders against the mat with a second-rope sunset flip that would pin Lauren against the mat!
